As of November 2024, U.S. street drug deaths were dropping at an unprecedented rate according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. Now, as fatal overdoses due to dangerous substances like fentanyl and xylazine, known as ‘tranq,' continue to drop in the U.S. — many Americans are curious to know what lawmakers are doing on Capitol Hill that may be contributing to these promising numbers.  Bret revisits a conversation with Senator Ted Cruz (R-TX) and Senator Tim Kaine (D-VA), on how their bipartisan bill, the ‘STOP TRANQ Act,' set out to address this crisis, especially with lifesaving medications like Narcan being ineffective on substances like xylazine. Today's show opens with the newest talking-point that went out to the Left and all the Legacy/mainstream media: Elon Musk is the unelected co-President of the United States. It's as laughable as when these same people were convinced Trump is a power-mad dictator bent on ruling forever. We get this from both Rep. Barbara Lee (D-CA) and Whoopi Goldberg. And, while their saying this, at the exact same time, the WSJ puts out a piece entitled, “How the White House functioned with a diminished Biden in charge”! This leads to a more in-depth discussion of the Continuing Resolution (“CR”) that was pushed yesterday by Speaker Mike Johnson. However, because so many people started to read parts of the massive 1572 page bill, it became obvious it was more of an Omnibus bill than a CR. And, because people spoke out, there were not enough votes for it to pass. Rest assured they are going to try to pass something that we don't want.  In another undercover operation, the O'Keefe Media Group got Robert P. Silvers, Deputy Secretary of DHS to admit Biden has gone from 12-24 months after his election. He also admitted the entire government is distraught and devastated at the Trump win. Senator Ted Cruz (R-TX) said that Biden initiative to sell-off border fencing for pennies on the dollar is quite likely a crime. He warns those who are participating will be subject to investigation and prosecution. Remember when Fani Willis ran for DA in Fulton County, Georgia, talking about how the incumbent was guilty of extortion? Well, seems the Georgia Court of Appeals found her own actions while DA in her big RICO case against Trump has disqualified her from the case. CNN's Jim Acosta is distraught over the news that this case is no more. In a nod to their Washington, D.C. correspondent, they actually did a good job summarizing how all of the lawfare failed. Finally, on a CNN panel, Scott Jennings once again is the brightest person on their panel discussions. What's amazing is, after explaining why Trump suing ABC and getting them to settle is a good thing, he actually got disgraced former lawyer Michael Cohen to agree! You see, there is still some good in this world and it is worth fighting for. Please take a moment to rate and review the show and then share the episode on social media. On Wednesday's Mark Levin Show, any attempt by Iran or any other country to assassinate President Donald Trump should be considered an act of war. Iran does not want Trump to be re-elected because he will end their free reign over the Middle East they have under the Biden/Harris administration. Kamala Harris does not stand with Israel because she does not even stand with America and cannot defend us from Iran and China like Trump can. The U.S. is refusing to provide intel to Israel to help them win their war with Hezbollah because they would rather surrender just like with the Afghanistan withdrawal. These people have turned the world into a war because this is all Harris knows. Also, House Speaker Johnson has announced they will look into the FCC fast-tracking a sale that would turn over hundreds of radio stations to a Soros-backed group that will affect conservative talk radio. This is what it is like in fascist Marxist regimes, where only state-approved programs are allowed to be on the air. Later, Mark is joined by Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) to discuss his campaign for re-election against a radical left-wing kook and facing millions of dollars in negative propaganda from Chuck Schumer and George Soros, and the damage being caused by the Biden/Harris open border. Mark also speaks with Matt Walsh about his new movie, Am I Racist?, which exposes foolish Democrat arguments in an entertaining way. Learn more about your ad choices. The Rich Zeoli Show- Full Episode (07/30/2024): 3:05pm- Newsom Pledges to Outlaw Parody: Earlier in the week, billionaire Elon Musk reposted a satirical campaign advertisement for presumptive Democrat presidential nominee Kamala Harris—where she calls herself a diversity hire as well as a “deep state puppet.” In response, California Governor Gavin Newsom outrageously responded to Musk: "Manipulating a voice in an ‘ad' like this one should be illegal. I'll be signing a bill in a matter of weeks to make sure it is.” Musk quickly shot back: "I checked with renowned world authority, Professor Suggon Deeznutz, and he said parody is legal in America.” Will Newsom ban artificial intelligence generated parody in California? 3:30pm- On Tuesday, Secret Service Acting Director Ronald Rowe testified before the United States Senate—as part of the Senate's investigation into the assassination attempt of former President Donald Trump in Butler, Pennsylvania on July 13th. During his opening statement, Rowe said he “cannot defend” the rally's security failures. He explained: “What I saw made me ashamed.” In one notable exchange, Senator Josh Hawley (R-MI) grilled Rowe and expressed confusion as to how no one—despite the agency's failures—was fired. Hawley exclaimed: "The former President was shot! Just fire somebody!...We have people who are dead!" 4:05pm- Behind Closed Doors, Democrats Anxious About Harris: Alexander Bolton of The Hill writes: “Behind the public jubilation over Vice President Harris's swift rise to become their party's likely nominee for president, Democratic lawmakers are privately anxious about her prospects of defeating former President Trump, acknowledging she is largely untested as a candidate and faces serious challenges. The anxiety, for the most part, has been set aside out of a deep sense of relief that President Biden decided to drop his reelection bid. After months of unease over the 81-year-old incumbent, Democratic lawmakers are glad to rally behind Harris in hopes she will rev up Democratic donors along with young and minority voters. But concerns are already bubbling up over Harris's ability to connect as well as Biden did in 2020 with white working-class and union voters in three states that were critical to defeating Trump: Michigan, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin.” You can read the full article here: https://thehill.com/homenews/senate/4795432-kamala-harris-democratic-anxiety/ 4:15pm- While speaking with Margaret Hoover of PBS, Democratic political strategist James Carville warned that Kamala Harris is likely “going to get slaughtered” when she is inevitably asked for policy specifics. 4:30pm- Rich tells Matt and Andrew that he will not be appearing on YouTube today because he recently had surgery for a deviated septum and can't stop blowing his nose! Gross! 4:40pm- On Tuesday, Secret Service Acting Director Ronald Rowe testified before the United States Senate—as part of the Senate's investigation into the assassination attempt of former President Donald Trump in Butler, Pennsylvania on July 13th. During one exchange, Senator Ted Cruz (R-TX) stated: “I believe that the Secret Service leadership made a political decision to deny these requests. And I think the Biden administration has been suffused with partisan politics.” Meanwhile, in a post on X, Senator Roger Marshall (R-KS) reacted to what he experienced in the hearing: “We are 17 days out from the assassination attempt on Trump. I don't want conversations and processes—I want answers and accountability. Hiding behind a vague, slow-moving investigation is not going to cut it. We need full reform to the Secret Service and FBI now.” 4:50pm- David Propper of The New York Post writes: “Former President Donald Trump was briefly delayed by Secret Service agents from taking the stage at a conference in Nashville Saturday because of another security lapse, The Post has learned. The holdup was caused by two individuals who made their way around metal detectors inside the Music City Center where the 2024 bitcoin conference was held shortly after 3:30 p.m., according to law enforcement sources.” You can read the full article here: https://nypost.com/2024/07/29/us-news/secret-service-delayed-trump-from-taking-stage-at-nashville-conference-after-security-lapse-sources/ 5:05pm- Hank Berrien of The Daily Wire writes: “Anti-Israel demonstrators brandishing Palestinian flags and a sign that read ‘Genocide Olympics' reportedly chanted ‘Heil Hitler' and did the Nazi salute while the Israeli national anthem was played before the Israeli men's soccer team played Paraguay at the Paris Olympics on Saturday night.” You can read the full article here: https://www.dailywire.com/news/anti-israel-demonstrators-chant-heil-hitler-do-nazi-salute-taunting-israeli-olympic-team 5:10pm- Kamala Pledged to Keep Transgender Criminals Out of Prison: Spencer Lindquist of The Daily Wire writes: “During her 2020 presidential campaign, Vice President Kamala Harris pledged that she would work to keep transgender criminals out of jail, archived campaign materials reviewed by The Daily Wire reveal. Harris' now-inactive campaign website claims that ‘the LGBTQ+ community is exposed to higher rates of violence and assault in prison, and it is even more so with transgender individuals.' Harris, it says, would work as president to ‘reduce incarceration of LGBTQ+ individuals. Kamala understands the best way to address the issue is to seek alternatives to incarceration to prevent trans individuals from being incarcerated in the first place,' the site reads. ‘Kamala would also push to significantly reform our sentencing laws to further reduce sentences.'” You can read the full article here: https://www.dailywire.com/news/kamala-harris-once-pledged-to-keep-transgender-people-out-of-prison-as-president?topStoryPosition=1 5:15pm- Please Pick Me! While speaking on behalf of Kamala Harris' presidential campaign, Pennsylvania Governor Josh Shapiro exclaimed: “I've got a message to Donald Trump—stop sh** talking America.” In recent days, Shapiro has seemingly swung wildly to the left in attempting to appeal to Harris as a Vice Presidential pick. If he isn't ultimately selected, will his perception as a “moderate” be irreversibly damaged? Interestingly, of the Vice Presidential contenders, Mark Kelly enjoys the highest net favorability rating—is it a coincidence that he's also the only contender not regularly appearing on television or at rally's saying outlandish things to appease Harris' campaign? 5:40pm- Senator Roger Marshall—United States Senator from Kansas & a Member of the Committee on Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs—joins The Rich Zeoli Show to discuss today's Senate hearing with Secret Service Acting Director Ronald Rowe and FBI Deputy Director Paul Abbate regarding the assassination attempt of former President Donald Trump in Butler, PA on July 13th. Sen. Marshall explains, “I'm pretty frustrated” with the answers they provided provided—“we need to bring in a crisis intervention team” and “clean house.” Plus, Sen. Marshall reacts to the U.S. national debt surpassing $35 trillion—with interest payments on that debt quickly approaching $1 trillion annually. 6:05pm- According to Reuters, more than 160,000 people joined a “white women for Kamala Harris” Zoom call on Monday. Independent journalist Michael Shellenberger notes, “I thought this was a joke at first but it's not: Kamala Harris' campaign is segregating its volunteers by race. These are the people who spent decades smearing their opponents as racists. Why do people tolerate this degrading treatment?” The Harris campaign bizarrely doubled-down on Tuesday—hosting a “White Dudes for Kamala” event. Google has also rolled out its own AI search results assistant and it is... still in need of some work. "Use glue on your pizza to make the cheese stick, according to fucksmith on Reddit!" All of Meta's products now have an AI chatbot integrated - why aren't we allowed to opt-in on these new features? Andrew doesn't want to see laughing babies when he's trying to stalk Laura on insta! In DC, lawmakers have taken notice of the increase in AI deepfake porn and are looking to put a stop to it! While Sen. Dick Durbin's attempt to introduce a bipartisan bill turned out to be too broad, Ted Cruz (R-TX, and the most hated Senator on both sides of the aisle) is sponsoring the Take It Down Act.  To illustrate the impact of AI porn deepfakes, we look at a recent example involving actor Jacob Elordi, whose face was used on the body of a minor in a deepfake. Posts of this deepfake were viewed more than 3 million times on Twitter. And deepfake voice AI is coming to create misinformation in our upcoming election season. :/ The FCC has made it illegal to make robocalls using AI-generated deepfakes, and is even proposing a $6 million fine for Biden deepfake robocalls that were made during the NH primary. But how does this address robocall deepfakes from overseas? The treat of the week: Andrew introduces us to his Riverside generated AI voice, and the results range from "that does not sound like you" to "why do you sound Australian?" This week's recommendations are good for the wallet and the soul: Spotify's new BASIC plan to avoid price hikes (Andrew), Marco Polo app (Pam), and Getaway.house (Laura). And in this week's installment of After Dark, available on Patreon and Apple Podcasts: It's another Patreon "Surprise Bitch!" edition. We hope you're ready for our call and unhinged questions! On Monday's Mark Levin Show, the Democratic Party and their surrogates are cheering what is happening to Donald Trump because The Democratic party is the new Confederacy. This is part and parcel of their war on the Constitution, almost from day one, from a party that supported nullification, slavery, separate but equal, and Jim Crow. We have a judge and a prosecutor in New York nullifying now and will have a ripple effect on other states, which is why this is a federal issue, and the impact is nationwide. What was done to Trump in that courtroom is an attempt to nullify the Federal Constitution, due process, and equal protection. Also, the war on Israel by Biden and the Democrat party is like nothing we have ever seen before. America has never treated an ally as poorly as the Biden administration is treating Israel. Later, Anthony Fauci seemed to have memory loss at a COVID hearing today. Why are Democrats defending him? Fauci didn't know why there was a 6-foot social distancing mandate. It wasn't based on science. Finally, Mark is joined by Senator Ted Cruz (R-TX) about his experience with the Bush v Gore case and the Trump case being the most egregious case of election interference in our country's history, as well as the introduction of in vitro fertilization legislation. As opposed to the Left trying to normalize inflation, we are seeing the ramifications of Bidenomics in action. Next, I repeat a story I like to use to illustrate the difference between charity and theft. I think it makes for a perfect backdrop for the Biden regime once again trying to buy votes by paying off student debt. We move to a judge that has been nominated by Biden for the Federal bench. To show just how radicalized the judiciary is becoming, I turn to Senator Ted Cruz (R-TX) who asks if her politics or fairness what drives her decisions. The back and forth is stunning. A story in the Washington Free Beacon is reporting that 50% of medical school students at UCLA fail basic tests of medical competence. A whistleblower says affirmative action, which is illegal, is to blame. Senator Chris Murphy (D-CT) loves our open border. He discusses the border bill that Sen. Chuck Schumer (D-NY) is trying again to ram through the Senate. I spend time picking apart Murphy's ridiculous statements, which provide a road map to how the Left thinks. In fact, an illegal just stated they are concerned that that American people have no idea who is coming into their own country. Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez doubles-down on lawfare when she appeared on Chris Hayes's show on MSNBC. She also claimed that Trump is growing broke on legal bills, yet says he is “bussing people” in to the rally he is holding in the South Bronx. Finally, Nikki Haley has finally decided she needs to be relevant again. In an announcement, she is going to vote for Trump and suggests Trump reach out to her millions of supporters to gain their votes as well. Ted Cruz Says Democrats Are Trying To Stop Trump From Becoming President By Jailing Him

The forecast of Senator Ted Cruz (R-TX) seems to signal unparalleled concern from Democrats regarding the potential return of former President Donald Trump to the Oval Office. The unease stems from the prospect of the indomitable Trump mounting another run for the presidency. This apprehension appears to be fueling a relentless pursuit of legal action against Trump. The former head of state is currently facing trial in New York, accused of a confidential payment allegedly made to an adult film actress known as Stormy Daniels. Cruz astutely observes that this legal upheaval seems suspiciously timed. He is of the opinion that this is not mere coincidence, but a calculated move, driven by Democratic fear: 'Democrats are panic-stricken at the thought of American voters choosing President Trump at the ballot box this November,' Cruz avers. 'Their maneuver to hamper the electoral process is glaring. They are investing every ounce of their energy to thwart a potential Trump return to the White House.' The words of Cruz paint a clear image of fear-induced agitation among Democrats, pursuing every angle to prevent a Trump second term. Pointedly, Cruz condemns the policies we've witnessed thus far from the opposite aisle. Upon examination, we can see a litany of failures. Inflation spiralling, rampant crime, an unmanaged southern border--all seemingly part and parcel of a deplorable political strategy. And the onslaught on our fundamental rights and values seems ceaseless under the current administration. The assaults on our constitutional rights are ever present: suppression of free speech and religious liberty, disregard for the Second Amendment. A display of relentless partisanship that swiftly seeps into every corner of our society. Beyond home shores, our position in the international arena is deteriorating, thanks to the abysmal handling of foreign policy and national security. Evidence of this is seen everywhere, from the chaotic retreat from Afghanistan, to the escalating tensions in Ukraine, and the unsettling developments in Israel. Cruz emphasizes that everything touched by the Biden regime seems to have descended into chaos: 'Each endeavor Biden has pursued has fallen into disarray. This isn't merely a statement of political rivalry - it's an observation based on the grim reality we're witnessing'. The incumbent administration's track record teeters on the brink of utter disaster. Democrats are wary of discussing it, well aware it will do them more harm than good. Instead, they resort to using this trial as a smearing campaign against President Trump. 'Not a solitary Democrat within the corridors of power in Washington exhibits the slightest concern for the rule of law,' Cruz reveals, displaying their hypocrisy. Fueled by their fears, Democrats aren't prosecuting Trump for justice, but rather to stave off the possible electoral results. Biden's failing tenure cannot serve as the Democrats' campaign platform, so they are resorting to tarnishing Trump. It's as if they are seeking to divert the voters' attention from glaring realities, directing their focus to the courtrooms of New York where they're building their deceptive narrative. As Cruz's commentary reveals, it's a stark backdrop of a desperate, failing administration on one side, threatened by potential resurgence of vigorous leadership on the other. This dynamic introduces fascinating nuance to the upcoming electoral battles and promises compelling drama. In conclusion, based upon the observations of Senator Ted Cruz, the fear-stricken Democrats are now resorting to legal wrangling to stave off a possibility they dread: a triumphant return of the formidable Donald Trump, backed by the American people, to the presidency. On Thursday Mark Levin Show, AG Letitia James violated ethics rules by campaigning on how she would target and prosecute Donald Trump, but the entire system is corrupt in New York because it is controlled by the Democrat party. Now Trump is being forced to consider selling his properties in order to give $464 million to New York over some phony statute pushed by a radical prosecutor. If Trump is forced to close his business and sell his properties, it will destroy New York City and the state of New York. Also, the Supreme Court ruled that the EPA could regulate carbon emissions, and since then EPA has used that power as a weapon for degrowth Marxists under the climate change label. There are no limits to the power of the EPA regulation, which now extends into your own home and controls what appliances you can own and vehicles you drive. We will destroy our own electrical grid without any help from Communist China if we continue to add more electric vehicles. Later, President Biden refused to condemn anti-Semitism in his State of the Union speech, which is the perfect example of the state of the Democrat party that tolerates pro-Hamas protesters. The media have been largely purified to only promote the Democrat propaganda, which is why they also ignore the anti-Semitism in our streets and universities. Chuck Schumer is giving aid and comfort to Iran and Hamas and is a puppet of the Biden Administration. Fisker's Fight for Survival A Symbol of Hardship for Electric Car Manufacturers

Real News Now Podcast

Fisker, a budding actor on the global electric automotive stage, revealed this week that they are temporarily suspending vehicle production. The pause is a tactic to deal with a pressing liquidity issue, triggered by a softer than expected market response to electric automobiles. They plan to secure a lifeline investment of $150 million to steer their enterprise through this challenging financial juncture. Fisker, whose operations are rooted in California, maintains a dedicated commitment towards crafting 'the world's most emotional and sustainable electric cars.' Even with this noble mission guiding their operations, Fisker's annual production yield barely exceeded a thousand units for electric vehicles on a global scale. Inclusive of carryover from the previous production year and including the current year models, the company holds an inventory of approximately 4,700 vehicles. The company remains confident that the rounded-off value of this vehicle pool, based on computed metrics as of mid-March 2024, surpasses $200 million. Joyrides from Fisker's assembly lines will hit a speed breaker for a period of six weeks, beginning the week of March 18, 2024. The company aims to fine-tune inventory logistics during this period and foresees it as a strategic moment to tie-up some crucial financing requisites. Unsettling insights from last month's reports by Reuters suggested that Fisker's future hangs in the balance. The concern stemmed from apparent signs indicating debatable financial solvency within the company. This led to considerable speculation about the brand's viability. The situation became tenser last week when the Wall Street Journal carried a report suggesting that Fisker had sought external consultation in preparation for a potential bankruptcy filing. This move was perceived as a direct reflection of the company's ongoing struggle. All of this comes at a time when the current administration, helmed by President Biden, declared it would persist with its focused deterrence of the conventional gas-based automotive sector. The administration proposed the implementation of some of the most rigorous pollution limits ever experienced by vehicle manufacturers. Reactions from media outlets such as the Washington Post highlighted the contentious aspect of these proposed measures. In their coverage, they underscored how this rule would compel car manufacturers to escalate their production and sales of electric vehicles whilst dramatically cutting down on carbon emissions from gas-fueled models. The EPA confidently defended its proposed pollution limitation standard, believed to be a potentially litigious issue. They argued that the regulation would successfully diminish carbon emissions by more than 7 billion tons. According to their analysis, this would translate into an annual windfall benefit of $100 billion for the country. This announcement met with instant and vehement opposition across multiple conservative factions, which expressed a fear that this strategy might inflict damage on the national automotive industry. The imposition of such limitations was perceived as a potential threat to an industry employing millions. In a strong-worded statement, Senator Ted Cruz (R-TX), a notable name from the conservative camp, took issue with the administration's preference for electric vehicles. For him, such a move undermines consumer freedom and reflects a shift away from traditional American practices and preferences. He contended that the needs of American households were being unnecessarily overlooked to cater to the demands of radical environmentalists. The Senator flagged his concern that these policies could negatively impact the job market in the automotive sector. His call was clear: it was high time the administration revisited such regulatory overstretch. In another similarly themed news report, it was noted that the Biden administration was proceeding with its plan to phase out gasoline-based cars in the US. The shift towards an electric future, while uncontroversially noble in its intent, remains a hot button issue and continues to draw ire from various quarters. However, the future of the industry hinges on a balance between sustainable practices and economic feasibility, with questions remaining about how these principles can coexist without compromising consumer choice or causing excessive disruption to established industry stakeholders. The Rich Zeoli Show- Full Episode (02/07/2024): 3:05pm The Senate's bipartisan border security/foreign aid bill failed to achieve the 60-vote threshold necessary to advance. The final vote was 49 to 50. Karoun Demirjian of The New York Times writes: “Senator Chuck Schumer of New York, the majority leader, changes his vote to no, which is a strategic procedural move to make sure he can raise the measure again, not a sign that he has suddenly changed his mind about the substance of the bill.” She continues: “Four Republicans voted to advance the foreign aid measure that included border security provisions: Senators James Lankford of Oklahoma, Lisa Murkowski of Alaska, Susan Collins of Maine and Mitt Romney of Utah. Four Democrats—Senators Alex Padilla of California, Bob Menendez of New Jersey, Elizabeth Warren of Massachusetts and Ed Markey of Massachusetts—voted against doing so, as did Senator Bernie Sanders, independent of Vermont.” You can read more here: https://www.nytimes.com/live/2024/02/07/us/congress-ukraine-israel-aid/85a3b581-3ab8-527c-bb12-ee1ee4be6664?smid=url-share 3:20pm- While appearing on Fox News with Sean Hannity, Senator Ted Cruz (R-TX) blamed Republican leadership in the Senate for helping Democrats look good by agreeing to an ineffective border bill prior to clearing it with the Republican party members. 3:25pm- Speaking to the press, Senator J.D. Vance (R-OH) explained why he vehemently opposes the Senate bipartisan border security/foreign aid bill. “The idea that we are committed to supporting whatever came out of this negotiation is pure, unadulterated bulls***. We supported a negotiation to bring common sense border security to this country—we did not agree to a fig leaf to send another $61 billion to Ukraine.” 3:40pm- On Tuesday, Nevada held its presidential primary. Despite basically running uncontested, Republican presidential candidate Nikki Haley received fewer votes than the “None of These Candidates” option on the ballot. With 88% of the vote counted Haley trails 63% to 31%. On Thursday, the Nevada Republican Party will hold its presidential caucus which Donald Trump is expected to win—and, presumably, will receive the state's 26 delegates. The Nevada primary will award no delegates. 4:05pm- On Tuesday night, Republican leadership in the House of Representatives attempted to impeach Department of Homeland Security Alejandro Mayorkas but failed. The final vote was 214-216. Four Republicans joined Democrats and voted “nay”— Mike Gallagher of Wisconsin, Ken Buck of Colorado, Blake Moore of Utah, and Tom McClintock of California. Though, Rep. Moore switched his vote for procedural reasons to help Republicans reintroduce the article of impeachment at a later date. Why did Speaker of the House Mike Johnson (R-LA) hold the vote if he didn't have the numbers? Rep. Al Green (D-TX) had recently undergone abdominal surgery and rushed to the Capitol Hill from his hospital bed—arriving in hospital garb to vote. He was not expected to be in attendance. Republican leadership plans to hold another impeachment vote when House Majority Leader Steve Scalise (R-LA), who is receiving treatment for cancer, is healthy enough to vote. 4:25pm- While speaking with the press, Senator John Fetterman (D-PA) criticized pro-Palestine protesters advocating for a ceasefire, asking: “Why aren't you protesting to bring [the Israeli hostages] home right now? Why aren't you demanding that Hamas surrenders as well?” 4:30pm- According to a report from 6ABC, “two police officers were shot Wednesday afternoon when they responded to reports of a shooting at a home in East Lansdowne, Delaware County. Sources said an 11-year-old was shot inside the home in the unit block of Lewis Avenue. As soon as officers arrived, a person started shooting at them, sources told Action News. Two officers were hit and the suspect retreated into the home, sources said. A fire started at the home about 15 minutes after officers arrived. Disney fired Carano, who at the time starred in the Star Wars series The Mandalorian, in 2021. 5:10pm- Congressman Jeff Van Drew— Representative for New Jersey's 2nd Congressional District—joins The Rich Zeoli Show to discuss yesterday's vote to impeach Department of Homeland Security Alejandro Mayorkas. The Boston Herald reports that Kerry's 45-person staff has collectively received $4.3 million per year in taxpayer-funded salary. Turner explains: "For nearly three years, John Kerry has been jet-setting on the international climate conference circuit while sending taxpayers the bill. Today, we begin the process of teaching John Kerry and Joe Biden that they work for the taxpayers. No one should have to waste resources on litigation, but that is our only option since John Kerry thinks he can keep his office off the books. The American people are on the receiving end of countless green mandates and rules, gas stove bans and skyrocketing utility bills, with no opportunity for consent or input, and many of these decisions are hatched in John Kerry's office. That is why it is our hope that this litigation will finally bring to light the information we deserve to know: the staff names, the office goals and budgets, the outside partnerships that peddle influence on Joe Biden's green agenda." Sources said an 11-year-old was shot inside the home in the unit block of Lewis Avenue. As soon as officers arrived, a person started shooting at them, sources told Action News. Two officers were hit and the suspect retreated into the home, sources said. A fire started at the home about 15 minutes after officers arrived.” The house fire is now under control. Four Democrats—Senators Alex Padilla of California, Bob Menendez of New Jersey, Elizabeth Warren of Massachusetts and Ed Markey of Massachusetts—voted against doing so, as did Senator Bernie Sanders, independent of Vermont.” You can read more here: https://www.nytimes.com/live/2024/02/07/us/congress-ukraine-israel-aid/85a3b581-3ab8-527c-bb12-ee1ee4be6664?smid=url-share 6:20pm- On Tuesday night, Republican leadership in the House of Representatives attempted to impeach Department of Homeland Security Alejandro Mayorkas but failed. The final vote was 214-216. Four Republicans joined Democrats and voted “nay”— Mike Gallagher of Wisconsin, Ken Buck of Colorado, Blake Moore of Utah, and Tom McClintock of California. Though Rep. Moore switched his vote for procedural reasons to help Republicans reintroduce the article of impeachment at a later date. Why did Speaker of the House Mike Johnson (R-LA) hold the vote if he didn't have the numbers? Rep. Al Green (D-TX) had recently undergone abdominal surgery and rushed to Capitol Hill from his hospital bed—arriving in hospital garb to vote. He was not expected to be in attendance. Republican leadership plans to hold another impeachment vote when House Majority Leader Steve Scalise (R-LA), who is receiving treatment for cancer, is healthy enough to vote. 6:35pm- Hannah Sparks of The New York Post writes: “You can pick your nose, but you can't pick your pathogens. A review of dozens of published studies into the mechanisms behind neurological diseases has collected strong evidence that people who frequently pick their noses are at a higher risk of developing Alzheimer's disease. The new report, compiled and written by researchers at Western Sydney University, was published in the journal Biomolecules late last year.” You can read the full article here: https://nypost.com/2024/02/04/lifestyle/nose-picking-likely-partially-to-blame-for-alzheimers-disease-scientists/

On Tuesday's Mark Levin Show, America is $300 trillion in debt, and providing $14 billion for munitions for Israel changes none of that. Terrorists and terrorist nations that surround Israel are executing a new crusade, and they seek to wipe out Judaism, Christianity, Muslims with whom they disagree, the West, and anyone or anything that stands in their way. Israel is on the frontlines of this war, shedding blood to protect our faiths and history, while the Biden regime is providing tens of billions to Iran and virtually every terrorist group surrounding Israel. Also, Alejandro Mayorkas lied to Congress over and over about the security of our border and has violated his oath to uphold the Constitution just like President Biden, and both deserve to be impeached. Biden has the power today to secure the border, and it is power that has been used by presidents of both parties for decades. Later, The D.C. Circuit Court is now the most recklessly leftwing in the nation, which was the intention of Obama and Harry Reid when they expanded it and then populated it with Democrat Party operatives. The Biden regime and his hand-picked special counsel have charged Donald Trump with 4 phony crimes, but they have a radical judge, jury, and prosecutor itching to get at it. They have combed the criminal code looking for bogus statutes, especially while Trump is running for the presidency, and all intentional to sabotage his re-election. Finally, Mark is joined by Senator Ted Cruz (R-TX) to talk about Joe Biden's destruction of the southern border while blaming Donald Trump for the crisis that was created by the Biden Administration and Democrats in Congress. Speaking to the press, Senator J.D. Vance (R-OH) explained why he vehemently opposes the Senate bipartisan border security/foreign aid bill. “The idea that we are committed to supporting whatever came out of this negotiation is pure, unadulterated bulls***. We supported a negotiation to bring common sense border security to this country—we did not agree to a fig leaf to send another $61 billion to Ukraine.” On Tuesday, Nevada held its presidential primary. The Rich Zeoli Show- Full Episode (02/01/2024): 3:05pm- On Wednesday, Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg testified before the Senate Judiciary Committee. During Sen. Lindsey Graham's (R-SC) opening statement, he accused Zuckerberg of having blood on his hands—emphatically stating “you have a product that is killing people” as those in attendance applauded. Zuckerberg was also notably grilled by Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) and Sen. Josh Hawley (R-MO). Could strict regulations on social media be coming via new legislation? Though there is clearly bipartisan support for legislation to upend Section 230, government should not be in the business of regulating speech online—it ultimately leads to the censorship of American citizens expressing opinions contrary to mainstream narratives. 3:10pm- Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg publicly apologized to families negatively impacted by social media after being implored by Sen. Josh Hawley (R-MO) to take accountability. Hawley, who notably wrote the “Tyranny of Big Tech” in 2021, has asserted that social media is one of the biggest threats to America. 3:15pm- A newly released Quinnipiac poll shows President Joe Biden with a 6-point national lead over Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump. Though, as Rich notes, the polling results may not be as problematic for Trump as the media is making it seem. First, the poll relied on “registered” voters, not “likely” voters. Plus, it's a national poll and doesn't consider state polling. According to a new Bloomberg News/Morning poll, Trump leads Biden in a hypothetical 2020 rematch by 3 to 10 points in Wisconsin, Pennsylvania, North Carolina, Nevada, Michigan, Georgia, and Arizona. Trump's projected lead expands even further when considering the third-party candidacies of Robert Kennedy Jr., Jill Stein, and Colonel West. 3:30pm- Heather Knight of The New York Times writes: “Fifteen months after city officials were ready to throw a party in the Noe Valley Town Square to celebrate funding for a tiny bathroom with a toilet and sink, nothing but mulch remains in its place. The toilet project broke down the minute taxpayers realized the city was planning an event to celebrate $1.7 million in state funds that local politicians had secured for the lone 150-square-foot structure. That's enough to purchase a single-family home in San Francisco—with multiple bathrooms. Even more confounding was the explanation that the tiny bathroom would take two to three years to install because of the city's labyrinthine permitting and building process. City leaders quickly canceled their potty party, and Gov. Gavin Newsom of California took back the funds.” You can read the full story about San Francisco's $1.7 million toilet here: https://www.nytimes.com/2024/01/24/us/san-francisco-toilet.html 3:45pm- Bud-Light has announced a partnership with comedian Shane Gillis. Will the Gillis affiliation be enough for Bud-Light to bounce back from the criticism it received after working with transgender social media influencer Dylan Mulvaney. 4:05pm- Robby Soave of Reason writes: “There is no pastime more beloved by Congress than beating up on social media executives. On Wednesday, members of the Senate Judiciary Committee engaged in yet another round of fact-free histrionics as they thunderously denounced four tech CEOs—Meta's Mark Zuckerberg, X's Linda Yaccarino, Snapchat's Evan Spiegel, and Discord's Jason Citron—for a litany of allegedly unsafe business practices… Many of the Senate's anti-tech crusaders were present, including Republican Sens. Lindsey Graham (SC), Ted Cruz (TX), and Josh Hawley (MO), and Democratic Sens. Dick Durbin (IL), Amy Klobuchar (MN), and Richard Blumenthal (CT). Sen. Elizabeth Warren (MA) wasn't there, though she received several favorable shout-outs from the Republicans. Indeed, both sides of the political aisle were exceedingly pleased with themselves for acting in bipartisan fashion to wildly accuse four business leaders of complicity in despicable crimes against children… In order to obtain this control, senators from both parties have sponsored legislation to repeal or reform Section 230, the federal statute that protects internet companies from some liability. Section 230 was a frequent punching bag at the Wednesday hearing.” You can read the full article here: https://reason.com/2024/02/01/mark-zuckerberg-senate-hearing-graham-facebook/ 4:15pm- While appearing on CNN, Senator Dick Durbin (D-IL) said: “I'm not going to protect Section 230 at the expense of children…if 230 has to go, it has to go.” Section 230 of the Communications Decency Act notably shields social media companies from liability for speech posted to their platforms. 4:35pm- David Propper of The New York Post writes: “A Montana family claims they lost custody of their 14-year-old child after opposing her interest in changing genders — and while the governor's office defended the move, it stressed to The Post that the state does not remove minors to provide gender transition services. The state's Child and Family Services (CFS) reportedly took custody of the teen from her father, Todd Kolstad, and stepmother, Krista, this month, leading the parents to speak out about how the action has ‘destroyed' their family and ‘trampled' their rights.” You can read the full report here: https://nypost.com/2024/01/30/news/montana-parents-lose-custody-of-daughter-after-opposing-transition-report/ 4:50pm- Rich opens the phone lines and gets flooded with off-topic calls—Matt is reprimanded. 5:05pm- On Wednesday, Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg testified before the Senate Judiciary Committee. She also implored society to stop referring to migrants who enter the U.S. unlawfully as “illegals.” 5:20pm- In audio leaked from The San Francisco Standard, Governor Gavin Newsom (D-CA) can be heard retelling a story about how he witnessed a theft while at Target, and how he reprimanded a worker for suggesting California isn't tough on crime. 5:30pm- Teri Hatcher, who was a “Bond-girl” in the film Tomorrow Never Dies, says she is officially done with online dating and is content with being single. 5:45pm- In his latest piece for The New York Post, George Washington University Law Professor Jonathan Turley writes: “Hunter Biden is comparable to children in Japanese internment camps, to undocumented immigrants, to the murdered descendants of the Tsar. Trump and others have demanded DA Willis be removed from the 34-count felony election crimes case on the basis of allegations made in a court filing by one of Trump's co-defendants. Ted Cruz (R-TX), who both endorsed Trump. Vivek even went on the road with him to New Hampshire to encourage people to vote for him. Tucker Carlson, who is supportive of Trump, noted that Trump's win was historic, but the media was dealing with it with some pretty hilarious reactions - with Chris Wallace looking "sick" and Joy Reid blaming "white Christians" in Iowa and calling them racist. They were very upset, he observed. But he warned that Haley might do better in New Hampshire, that she had been spending far more money than Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis there. She also has the support of N.H. Gov. Chris Sununu. He said a lot of Haley's money came from "committed Democratic partisans." She's gotten money from people like Democratic megadonor Reid Hoffman, who has been a supporter of Joe Biden, a friend of Jeffrey Epstein, and the guy who funded the E. Jean Carroll lawsuit. https://twitter.com/i/status/1747274232093110614 - Play 4:48-9:03 Never change Tucker…as always, you can find the link to Tucker’s video in my show notes. https://www.dailywire.com/news/federal-government-to-spend-700k-on-trans-inclusive-sex-ed-for-14-year-olds Federal Government To Spend $700k On Trans-Inclusive Sex Ed For 14-Year-Olds The Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) is awarding nearly $700,000 taxpayer dollars to back pregnancy prevention programs for young girls who identify as boys, warning that “heteronormative” sexual education is inadequate. The $698,736 grant, which began in September 2023 and will continue until June 2027, according to government disclosures, will be allocated to the Center for Innovative Public Health Research, a non-profit that seeks to create “an inclusive teen pregnancy program for transgender boys.” “Youth who are assigned female at birth … are at risk for negative sexual health outcomes yet are effectively excluded from sexual health programs because gender-diverse youth do not experience the cisgender, heteronormative teen sexual education messaging available to them as salient or applicable,” the award description claims. The Center for Innovative Public Health Research aims to provide sex education via a program called “Girl2Girl,” which the organization describes as “a text messaging based-sexual health program designed for cisgender sexual minority girls 14-18 years of age.” The center will then “test the resulting adaptation” in a national cohort of “700 trans-identified AFAB youth 14-18 years of age,” measuring their use of contraception and testing for sexually transmitted diseases, as well as pregnancy rates. The funding from the HHS specifically comes from the National Institutes of Health’s National Institute of Nursing Research. The National Institute of Nursing Research was given authority to spend a total of $57 million taxpayer dollars in fiscal year 2024. The Center for Innovative Public Health Research is slated to receive another $1.4 million taxpayer dollars from HHS to develop a “population-based HIV prevention program for trans girls,” specifying that the program will “address the lack of gender inclusive HIV prevention programming.” “Messaging will be gender affirming” and will “reduce internalized transphobia,” the award description adds. But the award for nearly $700,000 taxpayer dollars is not the only action that the HHS has taken to push transgenderism. The Daily Wire previously revealed that the National Institutes of Health (NIH), a subagency of the HHS, funded a study on the use of puberty blockers and cross-sex hormone treatment to the tune of $3 million despite transgender children’s hospitals admitting that the practice could result in permanent sterilization. https://thepostmillennial.com/exclusive-maine-moves-to-create-sanctuary-state-for-child-sex-changes?utm_campaign=64487 Maine moves to create 'sanctuary state' for child sex changes A Maine judiciary committee will decide on Wednesday morning whether a bill permitting minors to travel to the state to seek sex changes and granting the state custody over children will move to the floor. LD1735, also called An Act to Safeguard Gender-affirming Health Care, was introduced to the House of Representatives in the state in April of 2023 by Rep. Laurie Osher of Orono, and is cosponsored by Reps Erin Sheehan of Biddeford, Nina Milliken of Blue Hill, Suzanne Salisbury of Westbrook, Mark Worth of Ellsworth, and Rep. Matt Moonen of Portland as well as Senator Anne Carney of Cumberland. Courage is a Habit, a group fighting for parental rights in states across the nation, is leading an effort to stop this bill. Alvin Lui, president of Courage is a Habit, told The Post Millennial that people who do not live in Maine should contact the committee members as well as Maine residents as the bill "affects everybody’s parental rights." Sample emails provided by the group tell the members that "There is a lack of long-term studies on the benefits of 'gender-affirming care,’ which could result in the life-long sterilization and surgical mutilation of children," "With lawsuits against hospitals and schools on the rise in 2023, the public is becoming more aware of the potential risks associated with this bill," and "Protecting parental rights and the well-being of children should be our top priority. I urge you to vote "ought not to pass" on LD 1735." LD 1735 "prohibits the enforcement of an order based on another state's law authorizing a child to be removed from the child's parent or guardian based on that parent or guardian allowing the child to receive gender-affirming health care or gender-affirming mental health care." A law enforcement agency would be prohibited from knowingly making or participating in the arrest or extradition of an individual on an out-of-state warrant for violating another state’s laws on bringing a child to Maine to give sex change treatments. The bill updates rules on abandonment of a child or emergency situations, granting the State temporary emergency jurisdiction over the child if the child "has been unable to obtain gender-affirming health care or gender-affirming mental health care" because of a parent or guardian. The bill also prevents courts from finding a case was brought forth in an "inconvenient forum," or the wrong court, "if the law or policy of another state that may take jurisdiction limits the ability of a parent to obtain gender-affirming health care or gender-affirming mental health care for a child and the provision of that care is at issue in the case before the court." LD1735 "prohibits a court from considering the taking or retention of a child from a person who has legal custody of the child if the taking or retention was for obtaining gender-affirming health care or gender-affirming mental health care for the child." The bill mirrors similar laws passed in California, New Jersey, New York, Oregon, Washington and Minnesota. Lui told The Post Millennial, "refuse to let your kindness be weaponized against you." "If you're wondering how you got there in Maine, wherever you live ... it's because over time, you've allowed your kindness to be weaponized against you and they kept moving that goalpost and now, even when they're proposing a transgender trafficking bill, they're still using emotional blackmail to try to get you to accept this," he said. Lui said that "they’re quite literally opening up trafficking avenues by inviting children from other states where their parents do not agree to transgender sterilization drugs and mutilating surgeries, and they're going to welcome these kids in Maine using your taxpayer dollars through Medicaid to pay for these procedures, putting them in foster care, opening them up to vulnerabilities like sex trafficking, like abuse, not to mention the lifelong, irreversible procedures and drugs that the transgender cult promotes." "So there is no slippery slope. You're here at the bottom now because they're willing to remove kids from parents, and the next step will be to remove your children from your home in Maine," Lui added, noting the instance of California. https://www.theblaze.com/news/teacher-of-the-year-says-he-was-reassigned-for-3-months-after-too-harshly-stopping-2-male-students-from-attacking-female Teacher of the Year says he was reassigned for 3 months after 'too harshly' stopping 2 male students from attacking female Kumar Rashad — who was named the Kentucky Department of Education's Teacher of the Year in September — told WDRB-TV that in October he was reassigned for three months after "too harshly" stopping two male students from attacking a female student. A math teacher in Louisville's Breckinridge Metropolitan High School, Rashad told the station after the incident officials reassigned him to "non-instructional duties" at the Special Needs East Bus Compound. WDRB said Jefferson County Public Schools wouldn't say why Rashad was reassigned — but he gave his side of the story Thursday, one day before he began resuming his teaching duties. "I saw two males attack a female, and I went to the female's rescue, and I removed the two students off of that female," Rashad told the station. "The two students said I removed them too harshly." Rashad noted to WLKY-TV that the two male students complained about him to the powers that be. He was not about to apologize, however, telling WLKY: "Please understand, in the community, in school, anywhere I am going, I will never allow a lady to be attacked by a male." One of the topics on the agenda for January 17 has raised some eyeballs: “Preparing for Disease X.” COVID has been reported to have claimed approximately 7 million lives worldwide, but “Disease X,” on the other hand, they warn, “could result in 20 times more fatalities than the coronavirus pandemic.” Something interesting about people in power is that a not insignificant number of them also happen to believe that the world is overpopulated. If a pandemic 20 times as deadly as COVID did happen, claiming 140 million lives, would global leaders mourn or secretly celebrate that the world’s population was curbed? Yuval Noah Harari, one of Barack Obama’s favorite authors and a frequent speaker at Davos, has said that “the big political and economic question of the 21st century will be, ‘What do we need humans for?’ or at least, ‘What do we need so many humans for?’” Remember, in October 2019 — just months before COVID-19 was identified in Wuhan — The Johns Hopkins Center for Health Security in partnership with the WEF and the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation hosted Event 201, described as “a high-level pandemic exercise.” Is it out of the question to think another so-called pandemic could be just around the corner? Doctors like Peter McCullough and James Thorp stress the importance of being prepared and having life-saving medications on hand for whatever emergency — pandemic or not — life throws at you next. “You’ve seen all the threats from the establishment suggesting that there’s not going to be drug availability in the not-too-distant future,” obstetrician-gynecologist and maternal-fetal medicine specialist Dr. James Thorp warns. “They tell us — they’re threatening us that there’s another pandemic coming. So, look at that and protect yourselves.” So, what should we be doing? “Stocking up,” urged Dr. Thorp. “I’ve been doing this since 1995 — always stocking up I’ve been doing that for 20 years, and trust me, even before the pandemic, it saved a lot of my patients and family members because when they need the drugs, they can’t get them.” The Wellness Company has put together a Medical Emergency Kit of eight potentially life-saving medications, which includes Ivermectin and Z-Pak, for the treatment of a range of illnesses, including strep throat, pneumonia, COVID-19, nausea and vomiting, and more. The Rich Zeoli Show- Full Episode (12/12/2023): 3:05pm- Hunter Biden defied a Congressional subpoena on Wednesday—opting instead to address the press in a speech outside of the U.S. Capitol. He insisted that his father, President Joe Biden, “was not financially involved” in any of his dealings with foreign businesses. In response, House Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer (R-KY) and House Judiciary Committee Chairman Jim Jordan (R-OH) said they plan to initiate “contempt” proceedings against Hunter Biden. 3:15pm- The House of Representatives is holding a hearing to formalize an impeachment inquiry into President Joe Biden. House Republicans allege there is evidence suggesting then-Vice President Joe Biden derived financial benefit from his immediate family's foreign business dealings, and that those family members profited from their connection to the White House. Earlier this week, Speaker of the House Mike Johnson told reporters that he believes House Republicans have the votes necessary to initiate the inquiry. 3:30pm- During a press briefing on Wednesday, Fox News journalist Peter Doocy asked White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre why President Joe Biden hasn't just pardoned his son Hunter, who has been accused of several tax evasion felonies as well as federal firearm charges. Jean-Pierre said that President Biden has no intention to pardon Hunter. 3:40pm- While speaking with the press on Capitol Hill, following Hunter Biden's refusal to testify before Congress despite a subpoena compelling him to do so, House Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer (R-KY) debated a reporter who bizarrely accused him of having no evidence to justify an impeachment inquiry into President Joe Biden. 3:50pm- Addressing the House of Representatives on Wednesday, House Judiciary Committee Chairman Jim Jordan (R-OH) explained why a formal impeachment inquiry into President Joe Biden must occur immediately—citing suspicious business activity that may have ultimately led to Biden's enrichment. Rep. Jordan noted that Hunter Biden's exact phraseology was that his father was not “financially” involved in any foreign business dealings, however that qualifier does not mean he wasn't involved in other capacities, potentially leveraging the power of his office. 4:05pm- The Rich Zeoli Show was selected by Barrett News Media as the #10 Major Market radio show in the country. Alexandria Ocasio Cortez (D-NY) responded to calls for an impeachment inquiry into President Joe Biden by claiming that Republicans do not have any witnesses or evidence to support their allegations. However, on the social media platform X, RNC Research writes: “Tony Bobulinski—Hunter's former business partner—who admitted Joe Biden was the ‘Big Guy involved in a shady Chinese energy venture and due for payment. Devon Archer—Hunter's former business partner and best friend—who said Hunter put then-VP Joe Biden on speakerphone at least two dozen times during meetings with foreign associates. Multiple "highly credible" IRS whistleblowers, who provided extensive evidence of a coverup within Biden's DOJ. Paul Sperry, of Real Clear Investigations, notes: “House sources say that Democratic Rep. Eric Swalwell—as a member of the Judiciary Committee, which subpoenaed Hunter Biden—'aided and abetted' a crime this morning when he worked with Hunter's lawyer Abbe Lowell to help Hunter flout the subpoena in contempt of Congress.” You can find the tweet here: https://twitter.com/paulsperry_/status/1734975262322720955 4:35pm- While speaking at the Wall Street Journal's CEO Council Summit, Sen. Joe Manchin (D-WV) joked that he expects to be the last Democrat to ever win a Senate race in West Virginia. He said citizens of West Virginia believe the Democrat party has left them. 4:40pm- While appearing on MSNBC with Alex Wagner, former Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) blamed Republicans for stalling on billions of dollars of additional funding being sent to Ukraine and reprehensibly claimed the GOP would be solely responsible for people dying, women being raped, and children being kidnapped. 5:05pm- According to reports, Boston Mayor Michelle Wu plans to hold an “Electeds of Color” holiday party—which excludes Boston City Council members who are white. Rich reveals that Wu's husband is white. So, is this just a giant ploy to party without her husband? 5:10pm- Hunter Biden defied a Congressional subpoena on Wednesday—opting instead to address the press in a speech outside of the U.S. Capitol. He demanded that lawmakers approve his request for tens of billions in military and economic assistance. Republicans have said they are not willing to countenance another major package of aid unless the administration takes action on the southern border. But Biden said Republicans were handing Russian President Vladimir Putin a gift. 'This cannot wait,' he said in a televised address. 'Congress needs to pass supplemental funding for Ukraine before they break for the holiday recess, simple as that, frankly.' Biden presses Congress to pass Ukraine aid to prevent Russian win Play 1:24-3:00 He accused Republicans of holding aid 'hostage' over the border and of being willing to 'kneecap' Ukrainian forces on the battlefield But he hinted that he was ready to do a deal with Republicans, even if they would have to accept they were not going to get everything they wanted. Biden's speech came soon after he held a video call with leaders of the Group of Seven advanced democracies, who have all backed Ukraine, and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky. Biden has asked Congress for more than $100 billion to fund conflicts in Ukraine and Israel, as well as other matters of national security. However, Republicans on Capitol Hill have resisted the request, some insisting that Biden first take measures to secure the nation's southern border. The White House has warned repeatedly of the consequences of failing to back Ukraine. In a blunt letter sent to Congress on Monday, Office of Management and Budget Director Shalanda Young wrote: 'We are out of money to support Ukraine in this fight. This isn't a next year problem. The time to help a democratic Ukraine fight against Russian aggression is right now. However, Republican leaders quickly dug in. Speaker Mike Johnson promised there would be no funding for Ukraine without 'transformative' border security provisions. https://americanmilitarynews.com/2023/12/us-troops-suing-govt-for-billions-in-backpay-over-covid-vaccine-mandate/ US troops suing gov’t for ‘billions’ in backpay over Covid vaccine mandate In a groundbreaking development, three lawsuits with the potential for a class action suit are being filed on behalf of former United States service members. The service members, represented by attorneys Dale Saran, Andy Meyer, and Brandon Johnson, allege they were unjustly discharged or prevented from drilling, causing significant financial loss, as a result of the Biden administration’s vaccine mandate policies. According to Breitbart, the lawsuits, which are currently in the U.S. Court of Federal Claims, could involve backpay claims totaling billions of dollars. Saran, a retired Marine, emphasized the massive scale of the compensation, telling Breitbart, “It’s worth billions. That’s just flat-out. That’s what it is in backpay. It’s billions of dollars.” This statement underscores the potential magnitude of the lawsuit’s financial implications for the Department of Defense. The court, with its roots in the Reconstruction Era, is known for handling cases of illegal discharge and pay-related grievances in the military. Saran explained its unique role, saying that the Court of Claims is where service members can go when they have a claim and say, “Hey, I was illegally discharged, or the military did something to impede my pay.” According to Breitbart, the lawsuits allege that 80,000 to 100,000 service members, including both active-duty personnel and reservists, were impacted by the Biden administration’s actions. Saran detailed the lack of due process in the cases, noting, “They were basically [without] the benefit of any due process. No boards were held. They didn’t hold any administrative separation boards; they didn’t hold any hearings. They didn’t do any federal recognition boards; none of the administrative or judicial procedures were used. They just flat-out did it.” One notable case involves former Coast Guard member Zach Loesch, who was commended by President Joe Biden for his heroics during Hurricane Ian but faced discharge for not complying with a vaccine mandate, according to Breitbart. The claims also involve the repayment of enlistment bonuses, adding to the financial stakes. Saran stated, “Not only did they throw them out — unceremoniously [and] wrongfully — now they’re…without a job instantly, no separation pay, none of that. And instead, they’re standing out in the cold, and worse yet, here comes the government…here comes the debt collectors. Now you owe us money.” Saran drew parallels between the current situation with the service members who were negatively impacted by the COVID-19 vaccine mandate policies and his past experience defending service members who refused the Anthrax vaccine in the late 1990s. “I did some work on the lawsuit Doe v. Rumsfeld that shut down the anthrax vaccine,” he said. “And so…here we are, second go around again, 15 years in, and we’re right back at the mass vaccination of unlicensed vaccines like the government didn’t learn last time.” According to Saran, those interested in more information about the current lawsuits can learn more at militarybackpay.com. The ongoing legal battle, with cases like Bassen v. USA, Botello v. USA, and Harkins v. USA, marks a significant moment in military legal history, raising questions about due process, financial responsibility, and the broader implications for the rights of U.S. service members. https://www.foxnews.com/world/israel-constructs-large-pumps-flood-hamas-terror-tunnels-seawater-wall-street-journal Israel constructs large pumps to flood Hamas terror tunnels with seawater The Israeli military has assembled several large pumps it could use to flood the Hamas tunnels beneath the Gaza Strip with seawater, driving out terrorists hiding there, The Wall Street Journal reported, citing U.S. officials. Construction of five large seawater pumps was completed in November about one mile north of the Al-Shati refugee camp. Each pump is capable of drawing water from the Mediterranean Sea and can move thousands of cubic meters of water per hour, which would flood the tunnels within weeks, the report said. Israel has not yet committed to the plan, and it is unclear whether it would attempt to flood the tunnels while there are still hostages, including Americans, held by Hamas. The Palestinian terror group took some 240 people captive during the Oct. 7 attack on Israel and brought them back to the Gaza Strip. According to the report, Israel has identified about 800 tunnels beneath Gaza that Hamas has used to move fighters, store weapons and plan terror attacks on Israel. However, Israeli officials believe the tunnel network is much larger. By flooding the tunnels over several weeks, Israel would enable Hamas terrorists and potentially hostages to move out, the outlet reported, citing a source familiar with the plan. "We are not sure how successful pumping will be since nobody knows the details of the tunnels and the ground around them," the source said. "It’s impossible to know if that will be effective because we don’t know how seawater will drain in tunnels no one has been in before." The Wall Street Journal said an Israel Defense Forces official declined to comment on the flooding plan, but said: "The IDF is operating to dismantle Hamas’s terror capabilities in various ways, using different military and technological tools." U.S. officials were informed of the plan last month, the Wall Street Journal reported, but the U.S. does not know how close Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's government is to executing the plan. Israel has committed to continuing its war effort until Hamas is eradicated in Gaza. The Israeli military said it launched its 10,000th airstrike against the terror group in the Gaza Strip late Sunday. https://thepostmillennial.com/dem-witness-who-cannot-define-what-a-woman-is-says-women-should-learn-to-lose-gracefully-against-trans-athletes?utm_campaign=64487#google_vignette Dem witness who cannot define what a woman is says women should 'learn to lose gracefully' against trans athletes Head of the National Women's Law Center, Fatima Goss Graves, encouraged women who are forced to compete against men in women's sports to "lose gracefully." This she sees as the preferable alternative to keeping men out of women's sports at the scholastic level altogether. She made these remarks at a hearing over Title IX in the US House. "The reality is, that like their peers, trans girls and women, they sometimes lose at sports and sometimes they win. And success in school sports depends on a whole range of factors including how hard you work and coaching and access to really good resources and facilities," Goss Graves said. Goss Graves is married to Matthew Graves, a key prosecutor in J6 cases. She also co-founded Times Up to hold high-profile men accountable for sexual misconduct. She did not address the problems that arise when boys shower in girls locker rooms and expose themselves, or when girls miss out on opportunities because men have taken their places in the winners' circle. https://twitter.com/i/status/1732214013499412976 - Play Video (If you can find it somewhere else that’s fine.) Goss Graves also does not know what a woman is. Or at least she refused to define the term when asked. She was asked in July 2022 by Rep Andrew Clyde - https://www.youtube.com/shorts/2Uo111tBKd4?feature=share - Play Video The hearing was to consider changes proposed by the Department of Education to Title IX of the Civil Rights Act of 1964. The change would prevent schools from having women's or girl's-only sports. It would bring a new understanding and interpretation of Title IX, removing protections for women and girls and changing that to protection against discrimination for gender identity as a protected class. Under those provisions, the male student's stated gender identity would give him the standing to shower with girls and use other facilities that were previously women only. https://thepostmillennial.com/auto-makers-seek-to-remove-am-radio-from-all-new-models?utm_campaign=64487 Automakers seek to remove AM radio from all new models As vehicles become more and more complex, many manufacturers have begun doing away with AM radios, citing concerns that the proximity of electrical components could potentially negatively interact with signals from short-wave broadcasts. While it could be argued that the AM radio one day going the way of the dashboard tape deck was inevitable, the fact that many Americans still tune into, and in some cases rely on, the technology has led to pushback against the companies attempting to omit it from new cars. In May, Sens. Ted Cruz (R-TX) and Ed Markey (D-MA) joined a bipartisan group of their colleagues in the House to introduce the AM for Every Vehicle Act, which, if passed, will direct the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration to require manufacturers to ensure AM radio is included free of charge in every model for the foreseeable future. According to a press release that announced the bill in May, eight of the world's 20 leading car makers, BMW, Ford, Mazda, Polestar, Rivian, Tesla, Volkswagen and Volvo, have done away with AM radio in their vehicles. "I would think that if Elon Musk has enough money to buy Twitter and send rockets to space, he can afford to include AM radio in his Teslas," New Jersey Rep. Josh Gottheimer lamented. "Instead, Elon Musk and Tesla and other car manufacturers are putting public safety and emergency response at risk." While many of the bill's proponents cited the use of AM radio for emergency alerts, others pointed out that despite its archaic reputation, it is still an integral part of many people's technology arsenal. Arkansas Rep. Bruce Westerman, for example, said that his constituents "rely on AM broadcast radio for breaking news and entertainment as they make their daily commutes, especially in rural areas where constituents spend a lot of time in their vehicles." As Spectrum News covered, a report from the Center for Automotive Research found that the electromagnetic interference generted by EVs can make the AM signals fuzzy and unlistenable, and that while there is a workaround, it may cost automakers an estimated $3.8 billion over the next seven years.
