Ein Schwerthieb, der nicht nur einen Menschen tötet – sondern eine Dynastie ins Wanken bringt.Die Habsburger stehen zu diesem Zeitpunkt erst am Anfang ihrer Geschichte. Eine Generation auf dem Thron. Der Aufstieg ist jung. Die Macht ist fragil. Und plötzlich ist alles offen.In dieser Folge reisen wir nach Windisch und ins nahegelegene Kloster Königsfelden – einen Ort, der äußerlich still wirkt. Gotische Fenster, schlichte Mauern, keine Burg, kein Prunk. Und doch ist dieses Kloster ein politisches Denkmal. Denn hier reagierten zwei außergewöhnliche Frauen auf den Mord:

Keine Kinderwägen und Jugendlichen unter 14 Jahren: Das wollte eine Café-Bar in Aarau. Die Aargauer Regierung stützt dies. Es gebe keine gesetzliche Vorschrift, dass ein Betrieb gewisse Altersgruppe bewirten müsse. Zudem gebe es im Kanton genügend familien- und kinderfreundliche Alternativen. Weiter in der Sendung: · Die Unterkunft für unbegleitete minderjährige Asylsuchende in Windisch wird länger als geplant betrieben. Der Kanton kann sie bis 2028 nutzen. Nach Schwierigkeiten beim Start – der Vermieter hatte einigen Mietparteien gekündet, um das Gebäude dem Kanton vermieten zu können – laufe es nun gut, so die Gemeinde. · Der Knall im Auenschutzgebiet in Auenstein galt einem Kormoran. Ein Jäger schoss auf den Vogel, im Auftrag des Kantons. Zeugen meldeten der Polizei den Knall. Diese suchte danach Zeugen.

Die Politik hat vielleicht mit der zu grossen Kelle angerichtet. 2024 entschied der Grosse Rat auf Antrag der Regierung, es brauche zwei neue Kantonsschulen, eine in Lenzburg, die andere in Windisch. Nun kommen Zweifel auf, denn die Schülerzahlen gehen zurück. Weiter in der Sendung: · Lenzburg: Der Stadtrat will das Kulturhaus Tommasini sanieren und besser strukturieren. Es soll mit einer Stiftung eine neue Trägerschaft erhalten. Diese Pläne kosten Geld. Der Einwohnerrat soll 3 Millionen Franken bewilligen und ein zinsloses Darlehen. · Olympische Winterspiele: Die Aargauer Bobpilotin Melanie Hasler holt im Monobob Rang 5, also ein olympisches Diplom. Eine bessere Platzierung wäre möglich gewesen, denn Hasler fuhr im letzten Lauf Bestzeit. Sie konnte damit aber die schlechte Zeit aus dem dritten Lauf nicht wettmachen.

Die Gemeinde Windisch kann wieder Geld ausgeben. Sie hat finanzielle Stabilität, weil das Stimmvolk am Sonntag mit 55 Prozent Ja zu 45 Prozent Nein das Budget 2026 bewilligte. Gegen dieses hatte nach dem Ja im Einwohnerrat ein bürgerliches Bündnis das Referendum ergriffen. Weiter in der Sendung: · Brittnau/Strengelbach: Die Gemeinderäte der beiden Dörfer wehren sich gegen den Vorschlag, die Buslinie Zofingen–Strengelbach–Brittnau/Wikon einzustellen. Der Verband ZofingenRegio findet, die Linie werde zu wenig benutzt. Er will dafür auf zwei anderen Linien den Fahrplan verdichten. · Solothurn/Aarau: In einer Doppelausstellung im Kunstmuseum und im Kunsthaus sind die vielen Facetten der Schweizer Videokunst seit den 60er-Jahren zu sehen.

Bei einem Fallschirmabsprung im Februar 2024 hat sich der Notfallschirm eines Springers zu früh geöffnet. Dadurch kollidierte er mit dem Höhenruder der Maschine. Beim Absturz kam der Pilot ums Leben. Der Fallschirmspring-Verein will jetzt Notschirme für die Piloten obligatorisch machen. Nun hat das Verwaltungsgericht entschieden, dass der Kanton für den Unterhalt dieser Brücke verantwortlich ist. Er hatte im Februar 2023 in Rupperswil seine Frau umgebracht aus Eifersucht. Das Gericht sprach von einer besonders skrupellosen Tat.
