Texts: Exodus 34:5-8; John 3:16-17; 1 John 4:7-12 The Steadfast Love of God Declared in His Name (Exodus 34:5-8) This is the first passage where God declares His character to us. He is full of mercy, grace, faithfulness, and love with forgiveness for sinners. The Stunning Love of God Demonstrated in His Son (John 3:16-17) God's love came down to us in the sacrifice of His Son, Jesus Christ. Because of Christ's condescension in love to us, we can be saved unto eternal life through faith in Christ. The Sacrificial Love of God Displayed in His People (1 John 4:7-12) God's sacrificial love for us was clearly displayed in the incarnation and the crucifixion of Jesus Christ for our sins. Since God's love abides in us as believers, we are now compelled and equipped to love others sacrificially.

Texts: Micah 5:1-5; Ephesians 2:11-22; Philippians 4:6-7 Christ Came to Be Our Peace (Micah 5:1-5) Peace is defined in Scripture as “shalom,” which means wholeness or completeness. Christ's coming inaugurated a “shalom” that would bring strength to His people and culminate in His eternal reign. Christ Came to Make Peace With God and Man (Ephesians 2:11-22) Christ broke down the wall of hostility between God and man through His atoning work on the cross. Christ's atoning work brings wholeness and reconciliation to our relationships. Christ Came to Bring Peace Within our Hearts (Philippians 4:6-7) Christ provides us with the peace of God that guards our hearts and minds. Christ is our refuge of peace for all the moments of our lives.
Texts: Isaiah 7:14; Matthew 1:21-23; Romans 15:8-13 Christ, the Promised Savior (Isaiah 7:14; Matthew 1:21-23) Christ came as the prophesied Messiah who would bring salvation to sinners walking in despair and darkness. Christ came to be our Emmanuel, “God With Us.” Christ, the Hope of the World (Romans 15:8-13) Christ became a servant for the sake of God's truth and in fulfillment of God's promises. Christ brings a certain and eternal hope to all who believe in His name, filling them with joy and peace.

I expected to speak with Dr. Naomi Wolf about technology's impact on our community here on planet Earth. But our discussion evolved into something much more meaningful: God, Jesus, and all living things.Naomi Wolf was widely considered the preeminent feminist in the early ‘90s and since then has radically changed her position in the community. In this profound episode of Some Future Day, host Marc Beckman sits down with Dr. Naomi Wolf to explore the intricate landscapes of spiritual experience, consciousness, and human connection. Through a deeply personal narrative centered around a transformative hypnotic encounter, Wolf shares her extraordinary experience of meeting Jesus and the profound insights she gained about co-creation, kindness, and the true meaning of spiritual alignment.Whether you believe Naomi met Jesus or not, it's irrelevant. Her spiritual message of kindness gives hope and even made me reconsider my own personal religion. Naomi, thank you so much for sharing this incredible story and for joining me on this episode of Some Future Day.Preorder Marc's new book, "Some Future Day: How AI Is Going to Change Everything"Sign up for the Some Future Day Newsletter here: https://marcbeckman.substack.com/Episode Links:Dr. Naomi Wolf on LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/in/dr-naomi-wolf-324460b4/Substack: https://naomiwolf.substack.com/Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/naomirwolf/DailyClout: https://dailyclout.io/To join the conversation, follow Marc Beckman here: YoutubeLinkedInTwitterInstagramTikTok

God can flip the script in our lives, especially when helping others find their way to Christ. Through personal stories and a thought-provoking video, we'll explore how our past doesn't define us and how Jesus offers new hope. Whether you're reflecting on where you've been or where you're headed, this message will inspire you to embrace the new life found in Him. Recorded: October 6, 2024
In this insightful episode, we dive into three fascinating topics that blend faith, history, and current events. First, we explore the unveiling of the world's oldest Jewish book at the Museum of the Bible in Washington D.C., discussing the incredible significance of this discovery. What makes this artifact so astonishing, and why are institutions like the Ark in Cincinnati and the Museum of the Bible crucial for preserving religious history?https://www.jta.org/2024/09/24/united-states/museum-of-the-bible-unveils-worlds-oldest-jewish-book-in-new-exhibitNext, we shift gears to a creative ministry that combines Bible stories with pro wrestling. Salvation Pro Wrestling is an unconventional way to bring the Gospel to life. We discuss the impact of this unique ministry and offer thoughts on how other church members can start their own initiatives to share the message of Christ in their communities.https://www.sungazette.com/news/top-news/2024/09/bible-stories-come-to-life-in-salvation-pro-wrestling-ring/Lastly, we tackle a more serious topic involving Dr. Steven Lawson, whose name has been recently removed from The Master's Seminary and Grace Community Church websites. We reflect on what this development might mean, and in a broader discussion, address the increasing reports of immoral behavior among pastors. What's the solution—stronger church support, or a deeper pastoral commitment?https://www.crosswalk.com/headlines/contributors/milton-quintanilla/dr-steven-lawson-wiped-from-the-masters-seminary-and-grace-community-church-websites.htmlJoin us as we reflect on these diverse and thought-provoking stories that touch on the intersection of faith, history, and community.
Is this HERETICAL? Pope Francis addressed an inter-religious in Singapore just before departing for his return flight to Rome, Pope Francis turned to one of the central themes of his pontificate – inter-religious dialogue. “Every religion is a way to arrive at God. There are different languages to arrive at God, but God is God for all. And how is God God for all? We are all sons and daughters of God. But my god is more important than your god, is that true? There is only one God and each of us has a language to arrive at God. Sikh, Muslim, Hindu, Christian, they are different paths.” DR. TAYLOR MARSHALL PODCAST #catholic #catholicchurch

Scriptures: Matthew 18:1-5, Luke 8:1-3, Isaiah 43:1, Titus 3:4-7 Presented by: Ricardo Dunmoodie --- About The Path --- At The Path, based out of Atlanta, Georgia, our mission is simple: “seek, save, and send.” Our goal is to save as many people as possible and teach them to do the same. We're not just a church. We're a Family. Our Vision is clear, simple, and unique. Our vision is Jesus in you. Our vision is for the people of God to have a faith that holds them. The kind of faith that vanquishes doubt, verifies identity, and voraciously contends for inner peace. A faith that removes the past, clarifies the present, and breathes life into the future. Our vision is the Kingdom of God built within the people of this obscure, yet mighty generation. A kingdom so great that its purpose destroys the common lack of self worth. A kingdom that sharpens the eyes, tenses the muscles, and readies itself for the battle against darkness. A Kingdom that brings purpose and healing to those who have failed more than succeeded, who are sinners more than saints, and who have known more pain than pleasure. Our vision is to challenge the weak and unproductive church of our day. To step beyond those who are religiously immature and search out those who for their love for Christ cannot be offended. Our hope is to raise warriors instead of those who think God only exists to keep bad things from happening. To raise those who know that following Christ means suffering loss yet gaining all things. Our vision is clear, simple, and unique…. It is Christ in you, the hope of glory. --- Send in a voice message: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/proclaimingjesus/message Support this podcast: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/proclaimingjesus/support
