THE BETTER BELLY PODCAST - Gut Health Transformation Strategies for a Better Belly, Brain, and Body
Happy last Thursday in May! As we round out the end of May, I (Allison) am finishing up the last week of my maternity leave! To celebrate this, we're pulling content from our group coaching calls inside our private coaching group, the Better Belly Blueprint, to share with YOU. Today's topic is from my client Melissa. She asked: "My previous functional medicine provider put me on a supplement for my estrogen dominance about a year ago. Since then, I have been taking I-3-C Plus Dim and Calcium-D-Glucarate everyday. I feel that it has helped me so much with my PMDD symtoms as well as gallbladder symptoms and notice a difference when I miss doses. Do I need to stop taking this for awhile when I do my DUTCH test? Would this skew the results? I can stop taking if needed but don't want to if I don't have to." Melissa's question comes from a desire to not waste money on functional lab testing by getting results that aren't even relevant or trustworthy. Yet, she also doesn't want her symptoms to come BACK by going off a supplement she's found SUPER helpful. What is Melissa to do? If you've ever been in a similar bind of wanting to do a lab test but feeling nervous about going off supplements or medications - then this episode is for you! In episode 479 of The Astrology Podcast, astrologers Chris Brennan and Nick Dagan Best delve into the repeating historical patterns underlying Mars retrograde in Cancer periods, specifically within the context of United States history. During the course of the episode we explore how these retrogrades, which occur roughly every 15-17 years, coincide with significant events and recurring themes in American history. By examining past instances of Mars retrograde in Cancer, our goal is to provide perspective on current events and potential future developments. The discussion begins with an explanation of the Mars retrograde cycle and its unique characteristics, including its varying durations and the signs it retrogrades through. We emphasize the importance of looking at the entire period Mars spends in Cancer, including the time before and after the actual retrograde station, to fully grasp its impact. After that we proceed to discuss the specific dates and degrees of Mars retrogrades in Cancer, starting with the year of the US Constitution's ratification and moving forward. In particular we highlight the 79-year repetition of Mars retrogrades in Cancer, which is based on the Babylonian Goal-Year periods, and how it aligns with important turning points in American history. We also note the shorter 47-year and 32-year repetitions, which coincide with other planetary cycles. During the course of the episode we explore the themes that emerge during these Mars retrograde periods, including important turning points related to immigration, civil rights, and economic shifts. The episode concludes with a reflection on the potential implications of these historical patterns for the present and future. In this episode of Perpetual Traffic, Ralph Burns sits down with Cameron Campbell, a top-tier media buyer at Tier 11, and possibly the only person who can outshine John Moran's meta expertise—at least in the looks department. Cameron brings the heat, diving deep into why most brands are flying blind with their ad data, and what they should actually be tracking to scale profitably without burning cash.He breaks down the real numbers that matter, including NCAC (New Customer Acquisition Cost) and why relying on in-platform ROAS is basically trusting a magic 8-ball to run your business. Cameron also pulls back the curtain on Tier 11's Data Suite vs. Meta's Conversions API (CAPI), showing just how much revenue brands are leaving on the table when they don't have full visibility into their customer journey. Plus, he shares his step-by-step approach to creative testing, scaling without panic, and avoiding the biggest mistakes eComm brands make.If you're running paid media and want to know the difference between profitable scaling and expensive guessing, this is the episode for you. Grab your notepad—this one's packed.Chapters:00:00:03 - Introduction to Perpetual Traffic Podcast00:00:57 - Importance of Tier 11 Live Sessions00:02:14 - Meet Cameron Campbell: Media Buying Expert00:02:39 - Understanding Meta Ads and Data Strategies00:05:23 - Technical Insights: CAPI vs. Data Suite00:08:07 - Challenges in Data Accuracy and Optimization00:24:49 - Tier 11 Data Suite: A Comprehensive Solution00:32:19 - The Problem with ROAS00:33:08 - Exploring Meta Ad Account Data00:35:41 - The Importance of Accurate Data00:37:12 - New Customer Acquisition Metrics00:39:47 - Practical Application and Case Study00:45:58 - Q&A Session00:59:22 - Concluding Remarks and Next StepsLINKS AND RESOURCES:Tier 11Mongoose MediaTier 11 JobsPerpetual TrafficMarketing Performance Indicators™ ChecklistPerpetual Traffic on YouTubeTier 11 on YouTubeConnect with Lauren on InstagramConnect with Ralph on LinkedInFollow Perpetual Traffic on TwitterThanks so much for joining us this week. We continue with our survey of the open and closed communion debate. In 1816, the year following Robert Hall Jr.'s “Terms of communion” came out, Joseph Kinghorn answered Hall with “Baptism, A Term of Communion at the Lord's Supper”. Kinghorn was the pastor of Norwich Baptist Church and a former pupil of Hall's at the Bristol Baptist Academy. For more information, visit CBTSeminary.org
