Rapport qualité/prix/ergonomie imbattable.La lumière est plus importante que la caméra. Un iPhone bien éclairé bat une caméra à 3000€ mal éclairée.MICRO J'utilise : Shure SM7B (300€) + Rodecaster Duo (500€) = 800€ le setup audio. C'est le meilleur micro podcast du marché selon moi. Se branche en XLR, qualité sonore exceptionnelle, étouffe les bruits ambiants.Alternative budget : Bird UM1 (60€). Micro podcast USB qui se branche directement sur votre ordinateur. In De Schaal van Hebben bespreekt techredacteur Stijn Goossens deze week de DJI Osmo Nano, de nieuwste actioncam van DJI. DJI is vooral bekend van drones, maar timmert al jaren aan de weg in het actioncam-segment. Met de Osmo Nano kiest het bedrijf voor een afwijkend ontwerp: de camera en het scherm zijn van elkaar los te koppelen. Dat modulaire ontwerp is meteen het belangrijkste onderscheid. De cameramodule is klein en licht, wat hem geschikt maakt voor bevestiging op kleding of accessoires. Het losse schermpje fungeert als draadloze monitor en toont live wat de camera ziet. Volgens DJI werkt dat tot ongeveer tien meter afstand. In de praktijk is dat genoeg voor vlogs en korte shots, maar het bereik blijft beperkt. Technisch gezien biedt de Osmo Nano wat je in deze prijsklasse mag verwachten. Hij filmt in 4K met 60 frames per seconde en ondersteunt 4K-slowmotion tot 120 fps. De beeldhoek van 143 graden is iets minder extreem dan bij sommige actioncams, wat zorgt voor een minder vervormd beeld. Beelden zijn eenvoudig over te zetten naar een smartphone via de DJI-app, en de camera ondersteunt zowel horizontaal als verticaal filmen. De batterijduur loopt uiteen: maximaal drie uur wanneer camera en scherm gekoppeld zijn, en ongeveer anderhalf uur wanneer je alleen de cameramodule gebruikt. Waterdicht is hij tot tien meter, maar uitsluitend zonder het scherm. Het loskoppelen heeft ook nadelen: videobeelden terugkijken kan alleen als beide modules verbonden zijn en het kleine scherm vraagt regelmatig draaien en klikken. DJI levert standaard een uitgebreid accessoirepakket mee, waaronder een zuignap, magneetketting en pet-clip. De Osmo Nano kost 279 euro met 64 GB interne opslag; er zijn duurdere varianten met meer opslag en ondersteuning voor een microSD-kaart. Voor audio is de optionele DJI Mic 3 te koppelen, ook die is erg veelzijdig en prettig in gebruik. De test van de microfoons hoor je in de hele review. DJI Mic 2 VS Rode WG 2 (My Take)

Someto a algunas pruebas a este micrófono inalámbrico que tengo desde hace tiempo. Es muy pequeño y da muchas posibilidades en cuanto a creación de contenidos.

En la segunda parte de la quedada del mes de mayo se tratan los siguientes temas: Emiliano Madrid, Ricardo Abad, Manuel Barragán y Enrique Varela dan un repaso a el estado actual de las gafas Meta Ray-Ban. Emiliano aporta varias demostraciones grabadas. Lo cual da paso a hablar de múltiples experiencias personales y aplicaciones prácticas para el uso de estas gafas. A continuación, Emiliano Madrid presenta un teclado específico para Mac con toda la distribución de teclas necesaria para ese sistema operativo, pero que también va estupendo para iPhone y iPad. De hecho, se puede usar con esos tres dispositivos emparejados simultáneamente. Después, Emiliano  sigue con sus novedades en cacharritos y nos comparte un impresionante gimball estabilizador para colocar el móvil, que es cómo una especie de palo selfi súper vitaminado, con trípode integrado que incorpora una cámara para seguirnos la cara de forma automática. Pero ahí no queda la cosa, en esta ocasión Eniliano viene cargadito de sorpresas y  nos presenta también unos mini micrófonos DJI Mic tipo lavalier con transmisor compatibles con OsmoAudio, que se pueden conectar y emplear con el palo selfi, para poder grabar alejándonos mucho de él, sin que ello afecte al volumen de grabación de nuestra voz. Ah, y el mismo Emiliano nos avanza que para más adelante nos presentará un mini dron, el DJI Neo, que grava y puede ser usado por una persona ciega sin ningún problema, así como  la cámara de acción DJI Osmo Action 5 Pro. Y ya para finalizar, Ricardo Abad nos comenta sus primeras impresiones con una pinza de conexión de carga HIBLOKS que permite usar las gafas Meta Ray Ban mientras se cargan por medio de una batería externa Power Bank. Welcome to your weekly UAS news update we have 5 stories for you, New DJI Action 5, Air 3S hits FCC Database, Pilot Institute Community, a Drone finds missing Louisiana girl, and a press release on drone incursions into wild fire aircraft operations. First up, DJI has released the new Action 5! The action 5 comes with a new 1/1.3” sensor (the same size as the Mini 4 Pro), 10-bit D-Log M, HLG, horizon steady, subject tracking, a barometer/hydrometer, 47GB of internal storage, magnetic mounting, 4 hour battery life, 113 degree max operating temperature, and connection with the DJI Mic 2s! Whew, lots cool specs, we'll be getting on to check out and post some content on! Next, the Air 3S has hit the FCC database! We've seen quite a few leaks about the Air 3S, including some images with an RC-N3 series controller, what appears to be a larger sensor in a dual camera setup, and potentially larger batteries. Rumors have also included that batteries may be compatible with the current Air 3. We've seen some decent images of the Air 3, we'll have to wait and see if DJI publishes an announcement any time soon! Third up, a big Pilot Institute update. This week we launched the Premium Community with the goal to help part 107 pilots use their certificate to get paid work. In premium you'll find tons of interviews and workshops, we'll be releasing exclusive content every month. Searchers were unable to locate the girl, and a company from Arkansas, Drone Management Services, stepped in to assist. Using what appears to be a Mavic 3 Thermal, Co-Owner Josh Kolber located the girl sleeping on the ground. Great use of the drone Josh! Last up, the National Interagency Fire Center has published data this week about 21 incidents where drones have operated near wildfires. In 10 of these events, firefighting aircraft operations were suspended. Generally, firefighting aircraft operate within a TFR, meaning other aircraft including traditional aircraft are not permitted in that area. Dans cet épisode bonus, je vous raconte ma propre expérience de producteur de podcast pour la prise de son en reportage. Je vous explique mon choix de micro sans fil... un peu particulier. -------------Quand on travaille dans l'audiovisuel, on est obligé de mettre les "mains dans le cambouis" et de tester toutes sortes de choses pour travailler, surtout quand on est geek. Tout au long de ma carrière à la radio, j'ai cherché le meilleur moyen de réaliser des enregistrements audio de qualité de manière pratique et simple, quitte à sortir des sentiers battus. Aujourd'hui, pour le podcast Monde Numérique, pour les prises de son en extérieur, j'ai opté pour l'iPhone car cela permet à la fois un enregistrement audio de qualité, une captation vidéo et des fonctions de transmission et de montage. Pour le dernier salon CES de Las Vegas, après plusieurs tests, j'avais opté pour un micro Shure SM58 (micro de chant classique), relié à mon smartphone par câble USB-C à l'aide d'un adaptateur XLR-USB Shure MVX2U. C'était vraiment bien, mais encore un peu compliqué à manipuler en raison du câble reliant le micro au smartphone. De retour en France, j'ai voulu tester le tout nouveau double micro sans fil DJI Mic 2, destiné aux "vlogueurs". Celui-ci se compose d'un récepteur USB-C ou Lightning, qui se branche sur le smartphone, et de deux micros HF à réduction de bruit. L'ensemble est livré dans une boite qui fait aussi office de chargeur. C'est un super produit. L'autonomie peut aller jusqu'à 15h et la portée jusqu'à plus de 100 mètres. Malheureusement, je trouve que la qualité de prise de son n'est pas assez bonne pour faire du podcast, car pour de l'audio seul on aime avoir un son chaud et rond. J'ai donc bricolé un truc : j'ai relié mon micro Shure SM58 à l'un des petits émetteurs DJI (grâce à l'entrée mini-jack), afin de profiter de la connectivité sans fil. Ça marche plutôt bien ! Il reste seulement la question de la connectique qui pour l'instant n'est pas terrible, avec un câble XLR-mini-jack enroulé à la base du micro. Du coup, j'ai commandé un raccord sans câble, d'une seule pièce, qui devrait me permettre d'avoir un système plus ergonomique. Voilà, vous savez tout.

First up this week is St Louis Bill BB199, which has some concerning text for recreational UAS operators… Line 19, 20, and 21 state “Any person who operates a drone or any UA in the City of St. Louis shall have a valid Remote Pilot Certificate from the FAA and shall be in compliance with all standards set forth under the FAA's Small UAs Rule (Part 107).” There is no exemption for recreational or 44809 operations… The bill has other concerning text for any UAS operators, with restrictions on operating drones within 1500' of other aircraft (Including City of St. Louis Drones), No fly zones to be established by the city, required stand back distances from public safety vehicles, and publicly owned buildings.The rule is of course not applicable to any city department or city agency. We'll leave a link in the description to the bill's text. And speaking of St Louis, here is an update on the plan to use drones for surveillance. After push back from the city, the company isn't backing down and instead sent the city a letter threatening a lawsuit if permits for operators were required. Instead they will offer a free trial at a different time and location. They are also asking for operators to join him and fly. All you have to do is pay $99 and they'll let you fly with them! Currently, a gofundme for the plan sits at just $20 out of a goal of $10,000. And if you think there's a link between the two St Louis stories, there certainly could be. When we say: don't ruin it for the rest of us, this certainly applies here. Next up this week is Wing, who has unveiled a new drone with double the payload capacity of their current flagship drone! The new drone has a 5lb payload capacity, while maintaining the 12 mile round trip range. Wing says the new drone will be deployed within the next 12 months to all sites where Wing operates.The company also said that about 70% of deliveries are completed using one drone, while 30% use multiple drones to deliver, this would reduce the required number of trips to deliver the same goods. Fourth up this week is the DJI Mics 2! DJI has released the new Mics 2 with an 8GB internal storage, 14 hours of internal recording, 820' range, Ai Noise Canceling, 32 bit float recording, All in one stage case, and compatibility with USB-C, Lightning, and 3.5mm TRS analog output.The cost of the new mics comes in at 349 for two mics and a transmitter, a mic and transmitter for 219, or 99 per mic. Check out our video on the new mics! And the final story this week is another DJI release, this time from DJI Enterprise. DJI released “Modify”, which appears to be a mesh-editing tool that pairs with DJI Terra to provide modification to 3D models. On release, Modify is only compatible with DJI Terra models. Models can then be exported as .ply and .obj for third party or online sharing. The yearly cost of Modify is $1580 plus taxes and you can a 6 month free trial. For the regular Tom Kelly Show fans, this is lazy as far as content but I want your opinions on the sound. - I'm shooting with an iPhone 13 Pro Max, a DJI wireless mic. I'm using a OSMO 6 Gimbal. I found the weight of the DJI Mic transmitter throws the balance off the Gimbal.
