Kathleen from Plenty of Sunshine Travel met with Fernanda from Star Clippers for this week's cruise chat. . If you found value in this video and wish to help this channel. You can send a donation using this link ~ https://bit.ly/KathleenPenner. Star Clippers is very unique. You will sail like our ancestors did many years ago, letting the wind take you to your destinations. In fact, Star Clippers try their best not to use their engines. They plan the itineraries to go in the direction of the trade winds. The Journeys are created with the wind charts, and the major energy source is wind propulsion—minimal motor emissions, which is safer for the environment. . You can climb the masts and get quite the view from the platform of the sails. Each day, you watch the beautiful sails being raised and go the way of the ocean. Most of the rooms don't have balconies, only on their newest ship are suites with a balcony..Their ships have a deep draft - which means that they sit low in the ocean, and because of this, you will not feel the waves as much as you would on the larger ships. This is an authentic way of sailing ~ It's not your typical way of sailing, and they are near replicas of the clipper ships from the Golden Age of sailing. . I would enjoy laying on the netting at the ship's bow and would love to see the dolphins jumping around us. . Star Clipper has an open bridge policy, which is a ton of fun to pop into the bridge and chat with the captain about the controls and the area around the ship. . There are knot-tying nautical talks where they teach you to tie knots properly and expertly. You can also “Take the Helm” and steer the ship. . Local Entertainment with Nightly Dancing Under the Stars & More! PLUS, you will enjoy complimentary Watersports. You can do snorkelling, kayaking, paddle-boarding, waterskiing, sailing, and more on the Marina Platform. . One guest left a review for Star Clippers - they said: There is truly no experience as thrilling as a clipper ship, the food is awesome, and the staff is fabulous. Sailing is for your heart and Soul. The Star Clippers Fleet Royal Clipper Length 439 feet Draft - 18.4 feet 54,000 square feet of sails. 42 sails, 5 Masts, 227 passengers with 106 Crew. Atria has 114 staterooms, including 3 swimming pools and a B-story interior—a spa & health Club with an observation lounge and a library. The Star Clippers & Star Flyer is very much like sailing on a private yacht. The length is 379 feet, and the draft is 18.4 feet. 36,200 square feet of sails. She can reach speeds of 5-19 knots with 16 sails and 4 masts. 166 guests are onboard, and you will be serviced by 74 crew. They also depart from St Maarten on the Leeward itinerary or Treasure Islands itinerary. Website: https://www.judithgroeneveld.com/podcastInsta: https://www.instagram.com/judithgroeneveld_academy/Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/soulfulnesstrainingenTikTok: https://www.tiktok.com/@judithgroeneveldacademy
This episode tells the story of what happened one night, to Paul when he chose to relax a bit and sit by the moonlit sea on the tropical island of St. Maarten. While stargazing just off the Caribbean coast, Paul spots a large glowing object off the far sandbar and deep in the water. As the light reveals itself, he discovers a James Bond-like scuba guy. Emerging from the waters, he soon is surrounded by nigh time boozy bar patrons. The scuba man reveals nothing about the slight of hand con he about to initiate. Support the show

In this 22nd episode, Jason Johnson chats with The Cut Creator DJ Outkast about the business aspects of being a DJ and being in the entertainment business. Here is some more about The Cut Creator DJ Outkast: Born Chantry C. Hodge on the island of St Maarten, Dutch West Indies, he knew at a very young age that music would be his life. Experimenting on some old turntables, a CD player and a cassette deck in his basement he immersed himself in the world of music his father left behind when he closed an old family record shop owned for decades. A large selection of singles and LP records of the 70's and 80's were at his fingertips and with a little flourish and perfecting his own performing talent Outkast started playing for birthday parties and other small events at the age of 15. In June 2004, DJ Outkast traveled to Europe for the first time, where he played at venues in Amsterdam & Germany. These events prepared DJ Outkast for what was ahead of him in the coming months as in August, international beer distributor Heineken held its very first Green Synergy DJ Competition, featuring the Caribbean's best DJs. DJ Outkast, the youngest DJ in the competition at age 20, won hands down. As St Maarten's Champion, DJ Outkast placed 2nd in Antigua for the Caribbean finals of the Green Synergy Competition. In 2006 history repeated itself when Outkast won St. Maarten's Competition for a 2nd time. Then went on to The Bahamas to place 2nd in the Caribbean Finals, which was featured on popular Caribbean TV network Tempo. Since the Green Synergy experience, The Cut Creator has been making his mark throughout the Caribbean & Europe. He has been instrumental in promoting St. Maarten through his musical talent. Outkast's quick mixes and energetic style of playing is the reason why his popularity has been on a rise with promoters and fans alike. With a vast travel history in the past 6 years, Outkast has entertained party people in more than 15 countries & over 30 cities in his quest to make himself a household name wherever he plays. In 2009 Outkast was approached by Dj Whoo Kid & Dj Genie Of The Shadyville Djs to create Shadyville Caribbean. A Caribbean branch off of the world-famous Shadyville Dj Fraternity which is also established with Shady/Aftermath & G Unit. Dj Outkast is now signed on and apart of Top Gunners & Shadyville Djs along with Shadyville/Aftermath & G Unit!! Doing St. Maarten Proud!!! In 2010 Outkast made another major step by creating "Back At It Radio" His syndicated radio show that is creating quite a buzz. Syndicating to countries like Curacao', Trinidad & Tobago, New York, Florida, & England among others. Outkast breaks the newest records, breaks down the latest news & counts down the hottest club bangers. In 2011 Outkast traveled to New York where he was featured as a guest DJ on BET's popular countdown show "106 & Park" where he appeared on 3 different show including Wild Out Wednesdays & Freestyle Fridays. Oh I hope you are having a FANTASTIC WEEK so far! I HOPE (I am writing this 5 days before publishing it) that I am sitting on the beach having a FABULOUS time with my family in St Maarten right now....my goal for this podcast is to come into your life once a week and share something that will give you VALUE, help you SEE your POTENTIAL and encourage you to take ACTION towards your GOALS! In this episode I am sharing with you MY BIGGEST LESSON of 2019!! It was a LIFE CHANGER! We all hear NO in our life, and if you are in NetWork Marketing or business of any kind you hear it VERY REGULARLY, in fact some of us are even told to GO FOR NO! Do I see some HEAD SHAKING, whether you love that strategy or hate it there is some sales strategy behind it! The more NO'S you get will get you CLOSER TO YOUR YES'S! I agree with that...however what I've always hated about this popular NetWork Marketing, Direct Sales strategy is the fact that no one ever teaches you how to actually emotionally DEAL with the NO'S! I don't know about you - but hearing NO NO NO NO NO 100 times doesn't do much for my EGO!! But once I learned this ONE SIMPLE PHRASE - EVERYTHING CHANGED! And now I share this DAILY with my own NetWork Marketing Team and my PRIVATE CLIENTS and it's made all the difference in their lives and businesses! Tune in for all the details! I would LOVE to HEAR from you. Reach out to me. Do you have an idea for a podcast topic? Do you need some help?
