What makes DOLLMAN the most dangerous cop in NYC? He's a 13-inch alien with the most powerful gun in the universe. This week, Steve and Justin look through the microscope and try to make sense of Albert Pyun's 1991 sci-fi classic starring the Clint Eastwood of B-movies, Tim Thomerson (TRANCERS). And even if it all comes up short, there are shockingly few dick jokes for a movie about a ‘13-inch man'. Why Full Moon didn't do a compilation called Short Movies For Short Monsters, we may never know, but if Chucky Band wants to get in on that IP, he has our number. And if he does come to his senses, we just know he'll kick off his comp with 1993's DOLLMAN VS. DEMONIC TOYS. Coming in at a diminutive 64 minute runtime, with at least half of the scenes pulled from DOLLMAN (1991), DEMONIC TOYS (1992) and BAD CHANNELS (1992), this is barely a feature film, but at least it doesn't overstay its welcome. Get down on our level and see what a foot-high alien cop does when a foul-mouthed baby doll tries to have its way with his girlfriend (also one foot tall). It's all very confusing. On our show, "Howling At The Full Moon", we're going with something a little on the controversial side of things with a film that is highly contested by many Full Moon fans deep from within the Paramount days with our 35th episode and the 1993 effort "DOLLMAN VS DEMONIC TOYS." Directed by Charles Band himself and starring Tim Thomerson, Tracey Scoggins, Melissa Behr and Phil Fondacaro. Dollman vs Demonic Toys was the huge super-ultra-mega crossover flick that tied up some loose ends from Dollman, Bad Channels, and Demonic Toys. Some feel this was the greatest crossover event in the history of film and others...not so much. Join our discussion headed off by our regular hosts Cameron Scott and Full Moon enthusiast Dustin Hubbard as they debate and talk about their general love for this movie. "Pop goes the weasel."

Originally from our Patreon: Albert Pyun (1953 – 2022) was the consummate independent genre filmmaker -- his audacious film output in the 1980s and 1990s amassed a string of brain-blending films that mixed sci-fi, fantasy, action, horror, comedy, Eastern and Western cinema, to create something wholly unique, something maybe best described using the title of one of his own films - Radioactive Dreams. 1982's THE SWORD AND THE SORCERER, Van Damme's CYBORG, NEMESIS, DOLLMAN, even the original and much-maligned CAPTAIN AMERICA movie. Though he never achieved mainstream success, Pyuns films have haunted the minds of Steve and Josh and so many others - including our guest for the episode, BenDavid Grabinski (co-creator "Scott Pilgrim Takes Off"). Join us as we explore the Pyuniverse of cyborgs, kickboxing, muscle women, post-apocalyptic madness, and much more.

In today's episode we're going to get DEEP. I sit down with one of my AMAZING 1:1 clients as she shares her inspiring story of overcoming a history of sexual assault as a young girl. We dive into how her past experiences shaped the way she viewed herself, and how her past contributed to her purposely choosing not to take care of herself physically as a defense mechanism. We then dive into how taking this leap to feel good in her body again came during a huge shift in her life as she finally felt safe to feel beautiful again. At the time of the interview she was down about 17 pounds, and is now down 22 pounds as this is being published. And I couldn't be more proud of her not just because of her weight loss, but by being such an inspiration for sharing her story for others who have been victims of sexual assault too. ------ Please leave a 5 star review and share a screenshot of this podcast on your social media if you enjoyed it! In this episode, David is joined by Phil Dolman who's a former Welsh rugby union player. Most notable for his experience as an Exeter Chief player. A team which has been one of the top teams in English rugby for about a decade, a period of time that coincided with Phil joining The Chiefs in 2009. He shares the details of his journey, explaining what it has taught him about teamwork, fairness, leadership, and achieving success. KEY TAKEAWAYS Sometimes you have to make sacrifices for your dream. Who you work with has a huge impact on your life, so do your best to choose somewhere you are a good fit. When working in a team, your priority is fulfilling the role that has been assigned to you, not trying to showcase your other abilities. In sport, the focus is on each individual being the best they can be, which translates into a stronger team. In rugby people are encouraged to step up and lead, to have a go and learn from taking the initiative. Take the rough with the smooth. Celebrate wins, but don´t go too mad, you need to remain focused. BEST MOMENTS ‘We were never world-beating individuals, but we could gel together and work well as a collective.,' ‘I think there's a change of behaviour on the pitch.' ‘Culture manifests itself a little bit in behaviours.' ‘That social side of things is a key part of building a team, it's just about making sure that it's done at the right time.' ABOUT THE SHOWPeople with purpose make a difference. Imagine a world where more people can just get their purpose out of them, into a plan, and then actually make it happen. What a world that would be - People everywhere finding meaning and harnessing that to bring inspiration and energy to each and every day, changing lives for the better. But no one ever achieved anything on their own - we all have something unique to bring and that means we all have to play our part - if we want to go far, we have to go together and lead or serve towards a vision of the world we want to see. Everyone has a story to tell, and this show is where these stories come to life. ABOUT THE HOSTDavid Roberts is a highly regarded CEO, mentor, and investor with 30 years of experience across multiple sectors. As an intrapreneur and entrepreneur, David has bought, grown, started, and sold several businesses, working with values-driven start-ups, award-winning SMEs, and multinational corporations on strategies for service excellence, leadership, and profitable growth. David's passion is for purpose and creating an environment where everyone can succeed, through building teams that get things done, execute on their mission with passion, deliver exceptional service, and really make a difference. What happens when a hard-boiled cop goes through a wormhole in space and lands on Earth? Well, he obviously turns into a 13-inch man! And that, ladies is gentlemen, is all you really need to captivate you into watching the classic B-movie "Dollman". For once, the three of us finished recording in under 2 hours, and we are just as shocked as you are based on the crazy tangents we went on. Why does Seth love the name Brick Bardo so much? Do the "Goosebumps" and "Fresh Prince of Bel-Air" songs sound similar? And why in the world has Nicole Kidman entered the UFC octagon?
