La pequeña Anna Mae nació el 26 de noviembre de 1939 en Tennessee. Era hija de Zelma Priscilla, que es el Yessica María de allí, y Floyd Richard Bullock, que trabajaba como supervisor de los aparceros, que son los pobrehitos que alquilan tierras a los Domecq y a los Alba pa plantá lechugas. La madre no era muy cariñosa, por si no lo han notao con el tema de los nombres, pero todavía menos con Tina porque su madre lo que quería en verdad después de las otras dos era un periquito. Durante un periodo de la IIWW se mudaron a otra ciudad porque su padre decía que a la guerra iba a ir Mambrú. Aunque vivían en la misma ciudad, Tina fue separada de sus hermanas, tocándole a ella vivir en casa de sus abuelos paternos, que son los que te miman menos. Además sus abuelos eran estrictos religiosos de la Iglesia Bautista, que es la que pone fuera los carteles con mensajes profundos como “Sé la clase de persona que tus mascotas creen que eres” y en la que todos cantan bien el cumpleaños feliz. Con el tiempo las hermanas se volvieron a reunir y a vivir con sus padres, pero duraron menos que Pablo Iglesias en silencio porque cuando Tina tenía 11 años, su madre abandonó al padre, le dijo, “toma, la custodia pa ti” y se fue a un Spa de Costa Ballena. Dos años después su padre se casa con otra mujer, abandonando lo que quedaba de familia. Tina tenía 13 años, dos hermanas y menos cariño que el galgo de un cazador. Al final las tres hermanas acabaron en casa de la otra abuela, que por lo menos les hacía croquetas. Tina tenía 16 años y trabajaba de empleada doméstica mientras se sacaba el BUP, jugaba al baloncesto y hacía de animadora, que si no te quitan la nacionalidad norteamericana. Pero entonces su abuela se murió de repente y se tuvo que mudar otra vez, ahora con la madre a St. Louis. Tina, que tenía 18 años, había descubierto junto a su hermana La Alameda. Hasta ese momento sólo había cantado en el coro de la iglesia y en el casting de “Se llama Copla” hasta que una noche el batería de la banda de Ike Turner, “Los reyes del ritmo”, le dio un micrófono y a finales de los 50 consiguió formar parte de la banda. El saxofonista también le dio un micrófono que se llamó Craig 9 meses después. Su madre la echó de casa al enterarse que estaba embarazada y el saxofonista dijo que iba a buscar una boquilla nueva, que habrá ido a Alemania porque todavía no ha vuelto. Entonces Ike la acogió en su casa, le encasquetó los dos hijos que ya tenía, tuvieron otro, se casaron y no tuvieron otro porque Tina descubrió que Ike le daba el micro a más gente. A los 19 se graduó y empezó a trabajar de auxiliar de enfermería. En 1961, con 22 años se casó con el Ike Turner este que salía con una camiseta de rayas y volvía con una lisa. Desde el primer momento, Tina era quien atraía la atención del público y la que llevó a la banda a ser teloneros de los mismísimos Rolling Stones en 1966. Diez años después, en 1976, la banda se separa porque el Ike este asqueroso, que tenía la mano más suelta que el cura de un internao, le puso la cara a Tina como un arándano. Esa fue la última vez y Tina reapareció dos años después en 1975 como solista, aunque con un éxito moderado. En 1981 fue una de las primeras mujeres en hablar en la revista People acerca del maltrato. Aquí Tina ya tenía el pelo como el Puma y bailaba como Whoopi Goldberg andando con tacones. En 1983 es contratada por EMI y a partir de entonces Tina se convierte en la Rocío Jurado de ellos pero con las piernas de Sergio Ramos. Tina consiguió profesionalmente el éxito que nunca pudo tener en su vida privada. En 1985 conoció al productor alemán, Erwin Bach, con quién se mudó a Zürich en 1994 y con el que se casó el 21 de julio de 2013, año en el que se retiró de la música y la actuación tras 54 años de carrera artística y después de dar más conciertos que Coldplay y más giras que Bob Dylan, que se va a morí er tío sin cagá tranquilo un día en su casa. A Tina le gustaba tanto el Toblerone que este mismo año, al cumplir 20 años de residencia en Suiza, solicitó su ciudadanía y renunció a la estadounidense. En octubre de 2021 vendió sus derechos musicales por unos de 50 mill. de dólares, aunque mantenía la distribución de su música. Eso sí que es una jubilación y no el plan de pensiones de Caja San Fernando. Esperamos que haya podido disfrutar mucho porque desgraciadamente, el pasado 24 de mayo de este 2023, Tina nos dejaba a la edad de 83 años, aunque ustedes siempre podrán recordarla cada vez que vean a alguien andando como Whoopi Goldberg con tacones o le den un cariñito al galgo de un cazador.

Didn't plan it, suspected it might occur, but we got a visit from the Queen of Rock and Roll.    In the podcast, Prince shows up first, I thought because he showed up the week previously and didn't get to speak, but he wanted to say "We got her." And then he presented Jennifer with Tina. We asked if she was ready to be interviewed, or if she just wanted to hang back, but because of her relationship with our moderator on the flipside, Luana Anders, who knew her when they both joined the Nichiren SGI group in LA, ("Nam Myoho Renge Kyo") - they could both speak about the value that form of meditation had on their lives. I asked the same questions I ask everyone - who greeted them on the other side, what that was like (Later, Jennifer mentioned a "standing ovation") but also who she was surprised to see.  She mentioned JFK, although I don't think they met in life, I did look up that she met and knew Jackie O.  But the idea of "seeing someone that's in our class that was a surprise to see" is what the question is. As she noted, she's "meeting more people every moment' - connecting with her old friends, and going through a "life review" with each person she meets.  James Brown (whom we interview in "Backstage Pass to the Flipside') was one of the first people to greet her, then we had a conversation with none other than her pal Little Richard, and there's a touching moment when Jennifer hears about her meeting up with Billie Holiday. Again, to clarify, Jennifer isn't a music critic, (as I once was for Variety) doesn't know the connections these folks have, but is either seeing or hearing answers to the questions we pose.  We've been doing this weekly for eight years, and the past two on this podcast. As noted, we do the podcast to demonstrate how easy it is to ask questions to loved ones on the flipside, in terms of practice, doing it in their favorite locations, and asking them to "nod" "shrug" or "shake their head" helps them to realize they too can continue the conversation. We had no idea that she would show up today, but because I knew that Luana was friends with her, I wasn't surprised when we were told that occurred. Jennifer didn't know about their connection, but learned it as the audience does, when Tina showed her "a meditation group." This podcast is done with respect to these artists, but also respect to the research. I've been filming people accessing this information for over ten years, have filmed 200 individuals "talking to, learning new information" from people off planet, have three documentaries on the topic (FLIPSIDEMYFILM.COM, TALKING TO BILL PAXTON,  MARTINIFILMS.COM HACKING THE AFTERLIFE HACKINGTHEAFTERLIFEFILM.COM available on Gaia). I have written ten books on the topic (Best selling in their kindle genre on Amazon) and continue to push this envelope which demonstrates not only the same hallmarks from people on the flipside (guides, teachers, councils, classrooms, etc) but also that anyone anywhere can communicate with love ones anytime if they take the time to learn how to bypass the filters. We can do so in dreams, with hypnotherapy or meditation - but also by having a friend like Jennifer Shaffer who spends 30 percent of her day helping members of law enforcement agencies nationwide on a pro bono basis. So I know how effective she can be if someone asks her. We hope this podcast helps someone somewhere, as people suffer with grief from the loss of loved ones daily. As Jennifer's father told us from the flipside; "grief contains the sad memories. Nostalgia has both sad and happy memories. When you can move grief to nostalgia you begin the healing process." Apologies for not recalling Erwin Bach's name, her partner for the past ten years, but it was Tina who pointed out that he was "much younger than her" (and that is correct, by 16 years.)  As she notes in the podcast, "She'll be waiting for him when he crosses over, but he has a lot more fun to have before then."  As do we all.
