If you have heard of the 'time-machine', you are already familiar with the father of science fiction - H.G.Wells. Sep 21 was H.G.Wells' birthday and we look at the works he has created, in this episode. When he wrote his works of science fiction, little may he have imagined that he was going to inspire generations of authors and children. Marvel and DC characters are richer thanks to the elements of science fiction woven into them - whether it is Iron Man's tech-fired suit or the ability of the Avengers to time travel. The Magic Tree House series of books takes its young protagonists on trips through both space and time. In this episode, a 11-year old bookworm - Vedant from Singapore, explains why he think H.G.Wells wrote some of his bizarre science fiction stories, and about the author's socialist ideals.Vedant also tries to look into the future and speaks of what he would like to see. 'Would children really have to do their homework by themselves?''Does anyone go to school, in Vedant's version of the future'You can find answers to these questions and more in this episode. A science fiction story plot has been given by Vedant in this episode. If you have written your ending of this story creatively, please send it to us at hello@wsnt.in or DM us on Instagram with your story. Vedant recommends the episode on Queen Elizabeth II, click here to listen to it.

In this episode, we are going to get to know how tom Angleberger became Tom Angleberger!Tom made a name for himself with the ORIGAMI YODA books, which were first published in 2010. While Tom has been actively creating his own characters, he's also been entrusted with books on Rocket and Groot and Geronimo Stilton. But in the Krosoczka house? He will forever be iconic for his Inspector Flytrap books. Like everything Tom does, those books are laugh-out-loud funny and pure fun. Like Tom himself. One of my most prized possessions in my studio? An Origami Lunch Lady made by Mr. Origami Yoda himself.
In the Journey to the Atlantis by Geronimo Stilton, a boy who speaks an unknown language and with blue skin lands up in a new place. The mouselings set out to discover ways to help him. Stefano Karadjov"Geronimo Stilton.

We're looking for a pretty specific breed of children's book on this week's episode. No stand-alone books, no continuing plot threads, and certainly nothing over about a hundred pages. We get pretty deep in our nostalgia... and then go even deeper and talk about young adult books from like the 1920s. It gets pretty weird. Normally, Halloween week is one of the busiest of the year for new releases. This year it’s a bit slower than most, but there are still some great all age comic books for readers in upper elementary school and up. Those elementary school readers, who also like some great art to move the story along are most likely fans of Geronimo Stilton. For those people, Geronimo Stilton Reporter-Paws Off Cheddarface! from Papercutz will be just their jam.

Bestselling Origami Yoda series creator Tom Angleberger was the perfect person to adapt the series—he’s a huge Geronimo fan! The series and character is a fan favorite for his family, and he read the books both to his kids and at his kids’ schools. On adapting this story to graphic novel format, Tom said, “I’ve wanted to draw comics since forever, but who would have believed I’d get to draw a famous(e) character like Geronimo Stilton? I’m a long-time fan, so I was able to really turn up the Geronimo-ness to 11. I had a ball!” You’ve never seen Geronimo Stilton like this before! About the book: A stinky smell is taking over New Mouse City! No mouse can live like this! Geronimo and his best friend Hercule, the private detective, head underground into the sewer world of Mouse Island to investigate. Can they save the city from the stench?

Happy Sunday! Diego go over a bit of reading, he reads from Geronimo Stilton, The Way of the Samurai, and I read a little again from 21 Lessons by Yuval Harari. His book is no 'Book of 5 Rings' but is still a way to expose him to alot of cool facts about Japan's history. We were both a little too relaxed from eating lunch, so excuse our overly calm demeanor. Take care! And wasabi is hot. --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/berendzenbond/message Support this podcast: https://anchor.fm/berendzenbond/support
En #ClarayConcisa9 ‘Literatura’ hablaremos de… ¡libros! ¡Clementine! 118:00 - CONTENIDO ESPECIAL "ENTREVISTA A P.Q. 173:30 - CONCLUSIONES
