Kim joins us today to share the steps she took to find Jesus. Even though she was raised to know there was a God, she didn't see beyond him as a structured God of Wrath. Through some hard times and with many seeds planted over time, she found what she'd been missing! Life is hard, and it can be confusing! Questions and uncertainties come and it really is hard to see any hope in the middle of some of the hard. Kim's story is a clear message of salvation. In her story we can see grace exemplified. When we have a life with holes, God comes in and fills in the gaps! Check out the episode we did with Kim's daughter, Episode #181 Finding Healing in Marriage with Dane and Brooke Lopez.

Imagine a school district that doesn't just issue edicts from on high. An organization that learns together, plans together, analyzes data together, and problem-solves together. A district like that can create an environment necessary for all schools to succeed. Kim Wood is a District Behavior Coach for Placer County Schools and she's here with us today to help you create that kind of district. She joined Jordan and Hannah on the podcast this week to share how school districts all across the country can decrease exclusionary discipline events and increase their staff's capacity to navigate behavior concerns. She was also kind enough to share her blueprint for a district-wide approach to behavior management that you can take back to your leadership team! It is largely undisputed that spending time outdoors and in nature is physically and mentally beneficial. School camps are often designed to take these outdoor experiences one step further by inviting students to truly step outside their comfort zone, embrace the environment and explore parts of themselves that are not as easily accessible in our everyday lives. But getting out of our comfort zone and embracing the unfamiliar can also bring some anxiety and apprehension—for both students and their parents! In this episode of Illumine from the Students, Principal of Brisbane Girls Grammar School, Ms Jacinda Euler discusses the School's Outdoor Education program with Year 9 students, Neve, Eva and Emily, and Director of Outdoor Education, Ms Kim Wood.

Agency Nation Radio - Insurance Marketing, Sales and Technology
If you're committed to playing the long game sometimes you need to wait a few years before something will work. It's possible that in those early days it barely scratches the surface of generating any useful business. However, if you're able to stay the course and keep your head above water the whole time, things could take off in a big way. That becomes substantially easier if you're able to find a place that doesn't make you feel crazy for wanting to try something different. That's what I talk to Kim Wood, of Toby and Merrill Insurance, about the confidence she's found to build her long term process.

If it does, then you make it a lot easier for people who want to do business with you. Because no matter what, they will Google your agency and will find what you've decided to provide them. It's also important to have the right mindset and understand the reality of your current situation. There's no way you'll instantly start generating hundreds of leads a month (without paying), instead it will slowly build over time. That's what I talk to Kim Wood, of Toby & Merrill Insurance, about how she's trying to focus their impress to get the process started.

The only type of information that's too much is what you ask prospects for. However, it's going to take much longer for them to get tired of hearing you say smart things about insurance. That's what I talk to Kim Wood, of Toby & Merril Insurance, about as tries to balance hers.

It will forever be a debate what you should say to clients when you don't need to talk about insurance. It's a debate that will never have a right or wrong answer, rather results of many different successful outcomes. The simple fact of owning the stories you tell instead of feeling obligated to share them will set you apart. The truth is they probably don't need to be as strong as you think they need to be at the start. Of course, in a perfect world having the most powerful tools and resources at your fingertips would dramatically improve your ability to deliver results. However, that simply isn't reality and you will almost always have to prove yourself with lesser tools than others might have. With that being said, there will come a time when you will need to invest in a tool that might seem out of control at the time. That's exactly where Kim Wood, of Tobey & Merrill Insurance, is at as she tries to navigate using what she has effectively. P.S. Elevate 19 is going to make everything you do more effective, even putting your socks on.

Continues to rage on much longer than necessary and delay an entire industry in the process. The good news is that it looks like there might finally be light at the end of the integration tunnel. Technology partners and carriers are finally starting to see the possibilities of operating in a truly integrated world. That world would finally include unduplicated work and streamlined efficiencies we've never seen before. That's what I talk to Kim Wood, of Tobey & Merrill Insurance, about as she struggles with a simple address change. LISTEN: The Problem No One Can Solve (Part I) P.S. The Can You Brew It crew enlists listener favorite Kim Wood for another crack at craft beer cloning. This time Kim is challenged to homebrew Belgian style IPA, Raging Bitch, from Flying Dog Brewery. This is a great example of a hybrid style of beer that is difficult to master with hop bitterness fitting in with Belgian yeast flavors, but Flying Dog has done it well. Tune in and see if Kim can do the same.
On this episode of Can You Brew It, the team attempts to homebrew Back in Black from the 21st Amendment Brewery in San Francisco. This rich, robust and hoppy craft beer is a wonderful example of a black IPA and is available fresh in many locations due to the use of cans as 21A's preferred form of packaging. Kim Wood joins the team once again to attempt this clone. Tune in and find out if she is able to brew it!
In this episode of Can You Brew It the crew attempts to homebrew an international favorite from Wychwood Brewing in the UK. Homebrewing beer. In her first appearance on Can You Brew It, Brewing Network favorite Kim Wood joins the ranks to try and clone Meantime London Porter. This beer is based on a recipe from the 1750's and is a true historical London Porter that is heavy on the toffee, roasty coffee notes and chocolate, and provides a nice challenge for our first time cloner, Kim Wood. Tune in and see if she was able to homebrew this great English craft beer.
