Jonathan Littell is a Franco-American writer and journalist. He is the author of the bestselling novel The Kindly Ones, a story of a Nazi SS officer on the Eastern front during World War II. Littell has also reported on the wars in Chechnya, Syria, and Ukraine. Volodymyr Yermolenko, Ukrainian philosopher and chief editor of UkraineWorld, spoke to Jonathan Littell in Lviv, during Lviv Book Forum, about war crimes in today's world, fascism and putinism, and Ukrainian and Russian societies. Vi kigger nærmere på en af halvfemsernes store og skelsættende tegneserier, The Sandman af forfatter Neil Gaiman og en række kunsteriske samarbejdspartnere. I samtale med en af disse, tegner Teddy Kristiansen, samt Sandman-afficionado Lærke Fenger fra Faraos Cigarer vurderer vi - Thomas Thorhauge, Frederik Storm og Matthias Wivel - hvad det er den serie kan og hvorfor den har opnået klassikerstatus. Since September 2019, we've dedicated a book club every three months or so to the adventures and travails of Morpheus, the Prince of Stories... the Sandman. In this episode, we conclude our journey through the Dreaming with Worlds' End, The Kindly Ones, and The Wake, and discuss what this complicated, entrancing story means to us. In Footnotes, we look at the possibility of adaptations and whether we'd welcome seeing Dream and the Endless on screen.

Thessaly (now Larissa) finds and protects Lyta, Morpheus receives a visit from Odin, ravens take flight, and Lyta at last meets The Kindly Ones.

Rose Walker journeys to Unity Kincaid’s nursing home in England and encounters three elderly women who tell her the strange tale of the children who flew away.

Lyta continues her journey, Rose visits a dying friend, the new Corinthian is given his first task, Nuala speaks with Titania, and Carla's investigation attracts the attention of a major player.

Remiel visits Lucifer, Hippolyta's loss of her son sends her into a world of madness and myth, Carla visits Rose Walker, and Dream completes a project.

Loki & Puck amuse each other while they work, Dream meets an old friend, curious change comes to the Endless, and a dissociated Lyta learns the fate of Daniel, leading to a decision.

Cluracan visits Nuala in The Dreaming with a request. Lyta meets the Kindly Ones in the basement of her mind.

The Kindly ones begins and we catch up with Lyta Hall and her son Daniel, while Lucien travels through the journey to learn of Dream's latest project. Lyta goes out for a job interview at the latest "hot spot".
