Ed and Kristyna bring their hands-on experience to share what they've learned—the moments of excitement, the unexpected challenges, and the real potential they see. Artificial intelligence continues to be a transformative force. We're not just talking about theoretical possibilities, but how AI is actually changing the way data professionals approach problems. This week we're talking with Power BI MVP Kristyna Ferris about flipping the script on how we look at business data. She has some cool ideas about viewing things from the outside that might change how you think about your company's data. Kristyna walks us through her approach, showing how she used Power BI to get a bird's eye view of an organization It's eye-opening - like she's put her company under a giant microscope, revealing all sorts of connections and patterns hiding in plain sight. She catches all sorts of interesting things, from what customers are really up to, to where things are getting gummed up in operations. But here's the kicker - Kristyna doesn't just sit there admiring the view. She takes what she sees and makes real changes. She'll run through some examples of how this outside-in perspective led to actual improvements. We're talking streamlined processes, new market opportunities - the whole nine yards. The best part? Kristyna's figured out how to get everyone else on board with this way of thinking. She's got some great tips for creating a culture where people are itching to step back and look at the big picture. It's about building a team that's always on the lookout for the next big "aha!" moment. If you're tired of staring at the same old dashboards and want to see your business in a whole new light, you'll want to tune in. And be sure to hit subscribe for new weekly content. And remember, sometimes, you've gotta step outside to really see what's going on inside.
Hi, I'm John Sorensen, President of Evangelism Explosion International, and you're listening to Share Life Today. In the Czech Republic, Michal is faithfully discipling Christians how to share the Gospel! He started 2024 off by training two Christians to share their faith. And now, those two are equipping at least fourteen people between them! Now, that's what I call multiplication. This past March, everyone went out to share the Gospel on the streets of Prague as part of the training, and Michal came across four Ukrainian teenagers who were refugees from the war. The two teenage girls of the group, Kristyna and Margo, both accepted Jesus as their Lord and Savior and asked to be discipled by the Christians who shared with them! The kingdom of God is growing, and He's using men and women just like you and me to share the Good News of the Gospel with people and to disciple them. As we are faithful to do that, our communities and world will change through the power of the Gospel. For resources to get started with sharing your faith, visit our website at www.sharelife.today.

Kristyna and Veronika Delmar are from the Czech Republic and they lost their mother to suicide a little over a year ago. In this interview, they share with us the different paths they took to live through their grief. Kristyna tried to “learn" everything she could about the topic by reading books and trying to get in touch with people who were going through the same kind of loss. Veronika was the one who found their mother, so this shock permeated her pain and it still does. She still tries to suppress her emotions and acknowledges that anger is still taking center stage. This moving interview touches on a universal theme when it comes to suicide: how do families deal with each other's grief journeys? Is it possible to respect and support each other through suicide loss? Their candid story shows us that nothing is more healing than love, compassion, and the understanding that when suicide happens, we are inherently bound by a shared loss. A HARMONY OF TOUCH: THE HIGH-FIVE, HANDSHAKE, AND HUG, 3min., USA, Experimental Directed by Kristyna Archer Human connection thru physical touch are as critical to our survival as a species as is the air that we breathe. Standing the test of time, these visceral, bodily, mortal connections remind us we are still alive. Synchronicity being the master. Firmness being the gauge. Vulnerability being the superpower. Without them, we are powerless. I leave you with, the undeniable forces of nature found in the hive five, handshake, and hug. Get to know the filmmaker: The music was the biggest challenge, I had something in my head, yet it really needed a complex music composition that could not be sourced and needed to be composed which I didn't originally budget for. Because originally I wanted a playfulness, and awkwardness really to come through all the way like 2 beings from another universe learning and experimenting with these forms of communication, yet upon watching the hug sequence after we shot, I realized it was not possible to take the emotion & intimacy out of those moments, so I need a track that transformed from playful lighthearted to deeply intimate. The visuals were more complex and truly has a turning point I wanted recognized in the track, that I wasn't expecting before.
