Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League is a MASSIVE failure for Warner Bros. and puts the future of Rocksteady in question. Just how much of a failure was it? Well, it lost at least $200 million. And it looks that much worse because they're comping it with Hogwarts Legacy from this time last year. Thanks from the bottom of our hearts for your support of this podcast as we have crossed 4 million downloads. And this one is a doozy. I agree with Mayor Q who is really upset with the Royals about a possible downtown ballpark. Credit to www.petemundo.com on KCMO Talk Radio 710 for interviewing the mayor about this and you won't believe what he said. And ESPN reporter provides an update on the Chris Jones contract situation while Joe Montana talks about silly sideline phone calls he used to make when he played. Then, there are three huge "tells" from the Trump arraignment that let you know this is a total joke. An Obama biographer says there are love letters from the former president from college to his girlfriend that he fantasizes about sex with men and I've got a new song suggestion for you this weekend.

After arriving in the US on a student visa through a baseball scholarship in 2010, an injury would abruptly end Ruben's dream for his baseball career. Little did he know what was in store for him. Coincidentally, receiving a copy of Rich Dad Poor Dad was all it took for Ruben to turn things around once again in his favor. Since receiving that CD, Ruben immersed himself in the Real Estate Industry having worked in a Maintenance Department managing a portfolio of properties, as a Project Manager working on flips with Mike and Jeri Schlickbernd, as a Realtor with Nebraska Realty, as a custom home builder, a flipper, a wholesaler, just to name a few. Now, he has created a business that is a deal finding machine with the 2022 goal of getting 1 deal per week under contract to be able to Wholesale 2, Flip 1 and Keep 1 every month. Ruben's failing forward strongly suggests to avoid pre-occupied/ early occupancy agreements and you'd hear why on Episode 19 of the REIA Radio Podcast. We at REIA Radio would like to wish all of our listeners the best for 2022. Let us all take the lessons and the experiences from the losses and the victories and use it as the momentum to continue overcoming whatever obstacles that may come your way. The Falsity of Truth - Orson Welle's Citizen Kane and Akira Kurosawa's Rashomon On this week's episode of WatchThis W/RickRamos, Ibrahim & I sit down to discuss the paradox of truth focusing on two of the most important films in the history of cinema, Orson Welle's 1941 RKO Classic Citizen Kane and Akira Kurosawa's 1950 Venice Film Festival Golden Bear Winner Rashomon. Each film examines the uncertainty of perception, memory, and truth. Kane has often been heralded as the greatest film of all time and Rashomon is credited with recognizing the viability of Japanese Cinema (and this critic would argue, World Cinema in general). These are two incredibly important films in the history of filmmaking. Ibrahim & I are excited to sit down for this discussion. We hope you enjoy listening to it as we enjoyed preparing and recording it. Thanks for the continued Love & Support. We're still enjoying the hell out of this show. Questions, Comments, Complaints, & Suggestions can be directed to gondoramos@yahoo.com. A Million Thanks.

Tarantino (Re)Writes The Summer of 69: Sharon Tate, Charles Manson, Hollywood & The Changing of History - Once Upon a Time . . . in Hollywood On this week's episode of WatchThis W/RickRamos, Ibrahim & I sit down to discuss one of the most anticipated films of 2019, Quentin Tarantino's Once Upon a Time . . . in Hollywood. Profiling "The End of the 60s" and taking liberal advantage of a history that saw the brutal murders of actress Sharon Tate and four of her guests by members of The Manson Family, Quentin Tarantino has delivered, yet another, film that plays with history and wallows in self-indulgence. There is great filmmaking here and it is a pleasure to talk about. With exceptional performances from Leonardo DiCaprio, Brad Pitt, and Margot Robbie, this is definitely a film worth examining, how much of it is hype is what we are here to determine. Take a listen and let us know if you agree with our assessment. Thanks for the continued Love & Support. As always, Questions, Comments, Complaints, & Suggestions can be directed to gondoramos@yahoo.com. A Million Thanks!
Emergence of a New Hollywood - History of the Oscars Part 3 '67 - '74 Ibrahim & I continue our examination of the Academy Awards looking at the breakdown of the studio system and the emergence of a "New Hollywood" that would challenge everything that had come before it. We look at the effects of an America in turmoil and confusion and the films that would find inspiration in such pessimism. The "Old Guard" was dying off, the studios were losing control, and the "Movie Brats" were rising with a European sense that would revolutionize cinema. This is a fun talk. We're not really sure how many episodes this is going to take, but we're looking forward to the ride. Take a listen and let us know what you think. Questions, Comments, Complaints, & Suggestions can be directed to gondoramos@yahoo.com. A Million Thanks.
Michael Meyers - Return to Haddonfield On this week's episode of WatchThis W/RickRamos Ibrahim & I sit down (almost a year after our last visit to Haddonfield, IL) to continue our talk on that blank-faced masked bastard, Michael Meyers. Screenwriters Jeff Fradley, Danny McBride, and David Gordon Green (with Green directing) bring us all back to that sleepy little town to re-introduce us to Meyers. With a returning Jamie Lee Curtis as Laurie Strode (the lone survivor of the first film) and a whole new generation to murder - all in one night - audiences are reminded of the brilliance that has been with us for 40 years. Take a step into The Fortress and remember what all of the excitement was originally about. Questions, Comments, Complaints, and Suggestions can be directed to gondoramos@yahoo.com. As always, a Million Thanks!

The History of Television (Part 10): Mass Masterpieces - The Rise of the Cable Series and the Evolution of Cinematic Television On this weeks episode of WatchThis W/RickRamos, Ibrahim & I finish out our study of Television in The New Millennium. We discuss the emergence of HBO as The Future of Cinematic Television with groundbreaking series including: OZ, Deadwood, Boardwalk Empire, and - of course - The Sopranos. We look at how that works into network cable including: AMC, FX, NETFLIX, SHOWTIME and assorted others with such diverse shows as Breaking Bad, Sons of Anarchy, Mad Men, Orange is the New Black and Shameless. So take a listen as we finish up nearly 20 hours of Television Talk. We hope that you enjoyed it as much as we enjoyed talking about it. Thanks for the continued love & support. Questions, Comments, Complaints, & Suggestions can be directed to gondoramos@yahoo.com. A Million Thanks!
THE HISTORY OF TV (PART 8) - THE EVOLUTION OF A NEW MILLENIUM, THE EVOLUTION OF A NEW MEDIA, AND THE ATTACK ON THE TWIN TOWERS On this week's episode of WatchThis W/RickRamos, Ibrahim & Rick sit down to discuss the beginning of a New Millennium. They talk the growth of Reality Television, the evolution of the Medium, and the Impact of The Attack on The Twin Towers. There are arguments, conflict, and discussion regarding a number of differing viewpoints. We may not agree, but - hopefully - there is a greater understanding and acceptance of whatever the hell can be recognized as the truth. Thanks for listening. Continued Support, Criticism, and Recommendations can be directed to gondoramos@yahooo.com. As Always, A Million Thanks!
History of TV Part 7 - The End of The X Era - Finishing The Decade & Tying It All Up On this weeks episode of WatchThis W/RickRamos, Rick & Ibrahim finish their study of the 1990s looking at the decade as a whole and trying to bring a greater understanding to all of it. They talk the expansiveness of the decade and how it would, ultimately, set the foundation for the 2000s. Take a listen as they remember this strange and complicated decade. Thanks for the continued love and support. Questions, Comments, Complaints, & Suggestions should be directed to gondoramos@yahoo.com. A Million Thanks!
