As RSAC 2026 approaches, Michael Parisi of Steel Patriot Partners sits down with Marco Ciappelli and Sean Martin to talk about what it means to show up to the world's largest cybersecurity conference with a business-first mindset. For Parisi — a 20-plus year veteran of professional services, federal compliance, and cybersecurity — RSA is less about the show floor and more about the quiet corners where real conversations happen. Steel Patriot Partners operates on a simple but powerful premise: business owners first, engineers second, compliance professionals third. That philosophy shapes everything from how they engage clients to how they show up at industry events. At RSAC, Parisi's calendar is already full — and intentionally so. The value isn't in the booths. It's in the bilateral trust that forms between peers who cut through the noise to share what's actually working. And the noise, this year, is particularly loud. AI dominates the conversation in ways that create as much anxiety as excitement — especially for federal cybersecurity professionals whose institutional knowledge feels suddenly uncertain. Parisi addresses this head-on: the question isn't just whether AI will replace jobs, it's whether leaders are having honest conversations with their teams about what's changing and why. The fog of marketing has thickened into what he calls a "fog of truth" — a marketplace where it's increasingly hard to know who actually delivers versus who just pitches well. This conversation is a preview of what Steel Patriot Partners will be listening for, talking about, and connecting around at RSAC 2026 — from retaining trusted people amid AI disruption, to whether tried-and-true solutions still hold their own against the wave of AI-native platforms. Parisi and the SPP team will also be sitting down with Marco and Sean live on the floor for a deeper follow-up conversation. Loved this conversation? We're joined by Laura Tripaldi: material scientist, writer, and researcher at the Center for AI and Culture at NYU Shanghai. You probably know her from Parallel Minds: Discovering the Intelligence of Materials (Urbanomic, 2022), an essay in book form that became a phenomenon in theory and art circles. Tripaldi's work challenges one of the strongest contentions within the philosophy computation: that intelligence is substrate-indifferent, that it can scale and migrate independent of what carries it. She argues the opposite, that you cannot separate intelligence from the materials through which it is conveyed. This becomes experimentally clear in her recent essay Substrates Unbound (Antikythera, 2025), where she tracks biocomputing systems like DishBrain — living neuronal cultures interfaced with silicon chips that don't execute pre-given code but reorganize, learn, and adapt. Mouse neurons and human neurons perform differently under the same training conditions. This reframes a central question of the moment: not 'can we scale intelligence,' but which matter are we asking to think, under what energy regime, and at what cost?References:Tripaldi, Laura. Step into a breathtaking story of redemption, devotion, and soul-level partnership in this episode of Intimate Conversations: Dark Night to Divine Light with Frank and Kat Parisi. Married for over thirty years, parents to their son Sonny, Frank and Kat share what it truly means to navigate addiction, trauma, near death, and profound awakening together, without ever abandoning true love. Frank opens up about growing up in extreme juxtaposition of familial wealth and unspeakable trauma, then decades of addiction, and finally a moment of pristine clarity that led him into recovery in 2011. He shares how sobriety became a doorway into service, faith, and purpose, and how a life-saving heart transplant in 2023, receiving the heart of a nineteen-year-old young woman, deepened his devotion to healing generational trauma and living for something greater than himself. Kat shares with remarkable honesty what it was like to love and stay with Frank through addiction, chaos, and recovery. She speaks about loyalty, exhaustion, faith, and the quiet strength it took to rebuild trust, communicate honestly, and do her own healing alongside his. Together, they reflect on how recovery is not just about getting sober, but about repairing intimacy, rebuilding respect, and learning how to truly see and hear one another's deepest Truth. We explore how trauma lives in the nervous system, how faith and spirituality became anchors during Frank's hospital stay, and how their son Sunny became the living "why" that called Frank back to life. From hospital prayers and divine interventions to rebuilding their marriage with transparency, affection, and daily communication, their story is a living testament to resilience and grace. We also talk about: -Addiction, shame, and the cycle of trauma -Recovery as nervous system healing and spiritual practice -Staying committed through chaos and rebuilding trust -Heart transplant as awakening and generational healing -Marriage as devotion, communication, and accountability -Parenting through trauma and modeling resilience -Love that deepens through vulnerability rather than perfection This episode is a reminder that healing is possible, marriages can be reborn, and love can become stronger after everything falls apart. Frank and Kat embody what it looks like when the divine masculine and feminine rise together, transforming pain into purpose and family into sanctuary. Their son Sonny is literally writing Raps praising the journey of his amazing family! You can learn more about Frank's work, courses, and memoir Embrace Abundance at frank-parisi.com, explore Emotion Wellness Center in San Antonio, and follow Frank on Instagram at @frankparisi2011. ➡️ Go check out patreon.com/allanapratt for Exclusive content! About Frank and Kat: The story of Frank Parisi is one out of a Hollywood movie. Growing up on the tough streets of New York City dealing with incredible adversity and challenges, Frank resorted to using drugs, alcohol and violence to survive. After decades of abusing his mind, body and soul Frank had a spiritual awakening on July 31, 2011 and found recovery as a new way of life. His mission since has been to inspire others to make better choices in life and not live the life he did prior to getting sober. Sobriety hasn't come without challenges. In 2023, Frank received a life saving heart transplant—the heart of a 19-year-old girl—which further deepened his commitment to living a purpose-driven, faith-fueled life. Today, he shares his story with raw honesty and uplifting clarity, helping others shift from scarcity to abundance in every area of life. The surgery has taken his belief of abundance, being kind and of service to others to another level. His mission now is to spread that message around the world. Parisi published his memoir Embrace Abundance on August 1, 2024 and became a best selling author. He's a partner and spokesperson for E-motion Wellness Center in San Antonio, a keynote speaker and offers private consulting to others as a successful self-made entrepreneur. Frank resides in Austin, Texas with his wife and son and committed to his own wellness and fitness routine on a daily basis. Katherine Parisi is a native New Yorker who has escaped the cold and now happily resides in Austin, Texas. An attorney by trade, Katherine has practiced law in both New York and Austin for the last 20 years, handling all aspects of civil litigation and primarily insurance defense. She married her high school sweetheart, Frank, and navigated the last 30 years of life with him, walking hand in hand as he overcame drug addiction, a life saving heart transplant, and in his newfound role as a social media phenom, bringing light and hope to all he encounters. Her pride and joy is her 9 year old son, Sonny, and she has found endless joy in being a soccer mom. In her free time, she enjoys travel, reading, and enthusiastically cheering her son on from the sidelines for whatever sport is in season.

No perdieron tiempo.

No hubo sorpresas. In this episode of Seeing Them Live, Charles and Doug welcome back Andy, a school teacher and avid live music fan, to share his an After Show Report on the 2025 Bonnaroo Music Festival. Despite carefully planning his trip with his friend Teddy and driving nine hours to the festival, Andy faced a series of unexpected challenges and adventures. The trip kicks off with a tense interaction with law enforcement when they are pulled over by a Kentucky State Trooper, escalating as a K-9 unit arrives. Fortunately, they are allowed to proceed to Bonnaroo without any legal troubles.Upon arrival, Andy and Teddy set up their elaborate campsite, which included modern amenities like a solar generator and 42-inch TV. The first night involved acclimatizing to the youthful crowd and loud electronic dance music that played until the early hours. Things took a dramatic turn when Teddy experienced a sudden medical emergency and had to leave, promising to return later to pick Andy up. Later, a severe storm brought torrential rains and flooding, leading to the cancellation of the entire festival due to infrastructural failure. Despite disappointment, Andy encountered numerous acts of kindness from fellow festival-goers and eventually managed to get back home safely, albeit with a vivid, unforgettable experience.BANDS: Dogs in a Pile, Eurythmics, Foster the People, Goose, Insane Clown Posse, King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard, Lemon Twigs, Luke Combs, Marcus King, Miranda Lambert, Parisi.VENUES: 2025 Bonnaroo Music Festival.
