As the race for the Champions' League gets ever tighter, Forest will probably be happy with a point from this one. They played some nice stuff and looked more composed in the first half, with Sangaré partnering Anderson in central midfield. After falling behind to Eberechi Eze's penalty, Murillo deflected Neco Williams' wayward shot for a quick response. Steven and George discuss the game and whether this was a deserved point or a lucky escape. We also have a view from the home fans, from Palace Mad Mason. These Tactics Won't Work in Europe! Nottingham Forest 0-2 Manchester City Match Reaction

Join Wolfie on Forest Fan TV for an in-depth match reaction to Nottingham Forest's 0-2 defeat against Manchester City in the FA Cup semi-final yesterday, at Wembley Stadium. The Reds' dream of reaching their first FA Cup final since 1959 was dashed as City's Rico Lewis struck inside two minutes, followed by a thumping header from Josko Gvardiol shortly after halftime. Despite a spirited second-half fightback—where Forest hit the woodwork three times, twice through Morgan Gibbs-White, and once via Taiwo Awoniyi—they couldn't find a way past a clinical City side. Wolfie also dives into a recurring issue for Forest this season: why do they only seem to play well in one half? The second half showed their potential, with Anthony Elanga's pace causing problems and Gibbs-White nearly pulling one back, but it was too little, too late. Was it a tactical misstep from Nuno Espírito Santo, or did the occasion overwhelm a Forest side playing only their second match at the ‘new' Wembley since 2007? With key players like Ola Aina doubtful due to injury and Ryan Yates and Neco Williams absent through suspension, Forest struggled to match City's intensity early on. Looking ahead, Wolfie discusses what this result means for the rest of Forest's season as they refocus on their surprising Premier League campaign. Currently 6th in the table, the Reds are in a strong position to secure Champions League qualification, a feat that seemed unthinkable after last season's relegation scrap. However, with five ‘cup finals' left in the league, as Gibbs-White put it, can Forest channel their second-half resilience into consistent performances? How will this loss impact their momentum, and what lessons can they take into their remaining games? Share your thoughts on the match, Forest's approach, and their chances for the season in the comments below—we'd love to hear from you! #nffc #mancity #facup Learn more about your ad choices. WOOF! Forest are going to Wembley! The Reds once again went through extra-time and penalties, and once again came out victorious as skipper Ryan Yates tucked away the last spot kick and sent Forest into the FA Cup semi-final, to play Manchester City. The match itself was not big on chances, but in truth Forest were the better team and mostly in control, although extra time had a few hairy moments. Then, despite Neco Williams' miss, Matz Sels, the captain, as well as Anderson, Hudson-Odoi and Milenković did the rest. Rich Ferraro is joined by a very excited George Edwards to report on the match, with a very magnanimous view from the home end by Brighton fan Rick. Nottingham Forest is reportedly eyeing a sensational move for Barcelona's Brazilian wonderkid, Vitor Roque. The 18-year-old forward, who has been hailed as one of Brazil's brightest young talents, only joined Barcelona in January 2024. However, due to Barcelona's ongoing financial difficulties, the Catalan giants might be open to letting the youngster go, despite his immense potential and the club's initial plans to integrate him into their future lineup. Barcelona's financial situation is far from stable. The club has been grappling with significant debt and salary cap restrictions, which have forced them to reconsider their transfer strategies and squad investments. With limited options to balance their books, Barcelona might be compelled to sell some of their promising young talents, including Roque, who could command a significant transfer fee in the market, with reports suggesting a fee around £25m. We also updates on some potential outgoings, with details of the Neco Williams transfer to Italian club Atlanta, as it has been revealed by football transfer guru Fabrizio Romano that Williams remains a target for Atlanta, even thought their initial bid was rejected. After Luton Town lost to Wolves on Saturday afternoon, Nottingham Forest headed into Sundays match against Premier League champions Manchester City knowing any points gained would be massive in the survival race. However with goals from Gvardiol and Haaland, Man City kept their title dreams on course and Forest again kicked the can down the road into the final 3 games of the season. With zero points to show for their effort the players should take some confidence out of Sunday's performance, as Forest create more chances against a City team than a majority of other teams have all season, and if Chris Wood had his shooting boots on the game could have gone differently. But with potentials injuries to key players Neco Williams and Murillo, could this game have cost us more in the long term, with a key match next weekend against already relegated Sheffield. In this video we will dissect the performance of the team against Manchester City and where this leaves Forest going into the final 3 games of the Premier League season, and how this relegation battle looks set to run all the way to the last match. Reprezentacja Polski pewnie wygrała z Estonią 5:1 i we wtorek w Cardiff zagra z Walią w bezpośrednim meczu o awans na tegoroczne mistrzostwa Europy.

Another week and yet another bad decision for Nottingham Forest by Premier League referees, but is this the main reason why Forest lost 1-0 to Brighton on Sunday afternoon? Jakub Moder's sliding tackle on Neco Williams in the 67th was deemed not enough for VAR to overturn the on field decision of a yellow card. After defeat to Brighton by one goal to nil it leaves Forest 3 points off the relegation zone, with a massive game on the horizon against fellow strugglers Luton, and with the impending point deductions expected in the next week Forest could find themselves in the bottom three before they take to the pitch against Luton next Saturday. Another week and yet another bad decision for Nottingham Forest by Premier League referees, but is this the main reason why Forest lost 1-0 to Brighton on Sunday afternoon? After defeat to Brighton by one goal to nil it leaves Forest 3 points off the relegation zone, with a massive game on the horizon against fellow strugglers Luton, and with the impending point deductions expected in the next week Forest could find themselves in the bottom three before they take to the pitch against Luton next Saturday. Well, that felt good didn't it? A strong performance by the Reds at home to hapless West Ham was capped by a goal in stoppage time at the end of each half by Taiwo Awoniyi and Callum Hudson-Odoi respectively. Forest had much to be pleased about, and will only wish that they had scored the five or six goals that they threatened, with keeper Alphonse Areola the strongest player for the visitors. Baz is joined by Adam to discuss the game, the performance, the goals and yet another penalty not give by the ref or VAR. They have kind words for Nico Dominguez and Neco Williams, and speculate whether this could be a turning point. Despite a creditable performance, it was another home defeat for the Reds as they lacked quality in both boxes. Richarlison scored in first half stoppage time before Dejan Kulusevski embarrassed Matt Turner to double the lead. Yves Bissouma's red card could have offered Forest a lifeline, but Harry Toffolo and Neco Williams were unfortunate to be denied by visiting keeper Vicario. Rich Ferraro is joined by Baz to discuss the game, with a view from the away end by JP from The Cheese Room Podcast. As well as discussing the game, we have to talk about the elephant in the room - relegation is now a plausible threat and the Head Coach's position looks increasingly precarious with each week without a win. Forest huffed and puffed, but despite scoring twice away from home, it was Diogo Jota and Mo Salah who blew the Reds' house down, as defensive indiscipline from set pieces led to cheap goals conceded. The first rule of Fulham on Transfer Deadline Day is that it's never quiet, the second rule is that you WILL be made to stay up past midnight.  We react to what was a sensational evening, as Fabio Carvalho's transfer to Liverpool fell through, three players departed on loan, Denis Odoi left for Club Brugges and Neco Williams arrived until the end of the season. We take a moment to fondly reminisce about Denis' five-and-a-half years at Fulham, the definition of a cult hero. Afterwards we briefly look back at Saturday's draw with Blackpool before looking ahead to Manchester City, a stern FA Cup 4th round test that poses Marco Silva with an interesting selection headache.  Finally, we have some fantastic Mitrovic scoring stats sent in via email, before playing some more chants in "this'll catch on", including ditties for Fabri and Rodrigo Muniz.

28:05: Thiagos skade. 29:55: Hvordan skal Klopp prioritere framover? See acast.com/privacy for privacy and opt-out information.

It's November 29th, the Reds have had a good week - another 4-0 home win, and a relatively comfortable 2-0 over Porto. Porto - 5 wins out of 5 in the Champions League group stage: Team selection - Tyler Morton, Neco Williams, Salah and Mane Started off a bit disjointed - Porto had a couple of opportunities Thiago's goal and the reason Salah played (6 UCL goals), behind Sebastian Haller .Southampton Early goal, big Alisson saves, final ball, more Thiago, Robertson, Konate More ‘only Salah'… as he leads the Premier League in goals and assists Record for 2 or more goals in 17 games since the 1920s? Big week - 2 complete programs: Everton - haven't won in 6 I think Wolves on Saturday - they have conceded very few goals and seem to have Jimenez back. It's been a tough away for us. We'll be back after the Wolves game to hopefully chat about the Reds continuing to win. Thanks to everyone - if you enjoyed the podcast, share it with a friend. text by Ben Morse, CNNAfter its campaign began in the most horrifying circumstances, Denmark's dream run at Euro 2020 continued on Saturday with a convincing 4-0 victory over Wales in the last 16.Striker Kasper Dolberg scored twice either side of the half time break and late goals from Joakim Mæhle and Martin Braithwaite wrapped up the result as Denmark looked the better side throughout.Wales was limited to half chances by a stout Danish defense, with Gareth Bale coming closest early in the encounter, but his effort just went wide of the post. Harry Wilson received a red card late on for a cynical challenge.Denmark's qualification for the quarterfinals comes two weeks after its star midfielder, Christian Eriksen, suffered a cardiac arrest during its game against Finland in the group stages. Eriksen has since been discharged from hospital after undergoing a "successful operation" and having been fitted with an implantable cardioverter defibrillator (ICD)."It's completely crazy," Dolberg told DR afterwards. "I actually don't know how I feel. This is total madness. It's surreal. It was here it all started for me, and to play here again in this setting was insane."Dominating throughoutWith Danish fans permitted to travel to Amsterdam, the Johan Cruyff Arena was predominately made up of Denmark supporters.Wales captain Bale offered his country's well wishes to Eriksen ahead of the game, handing over a Wales shirt with Eriksen's No. 10 and with the words "Christian, Get Well Soon."After some passionate national anthems, the game started with fervor and pace, with both teams exchanging chances in the opening minutes.Bale's shot went whizzing past Kasper Schmeichel's post but it was Denmark that broke the deadlock. In the 27th minute, Dolberg received the ball, turned and ran at a static Welsh defense before firing past an outstretched Danny Ward. The goal seemed to spur on Denmark, closing out the first half with heavy pressure chances. But it didn't have to wait long to double the lead, with Dolberg capitalizing on a poor clearance from Neco Williams to score his second goal of the tournament.Needing goals to get itself back in the game, Wales pushed forward, only to the benefit of Denmark.Mæhle and Braithwaite scored from inside the area to make the result more emphatic and qualify Denmark for the quarterfinals.Visit CNN.com/sport for more news, features, and videosWales midfielder Wilson got a late red card for clipping the heels of a Danish attacker."It's not how we wanted the game to go, from our point of view we started very well and then the game changed." Bale told BBC afterwards."We tried to play in the second half but made a mistake to concede which killed the momentum on our side. To finish how we did is disappointed but the boys are frustrated and angry understandably, I'd prefer us to go out that way."Denmark will face either Netherlands or Czech Republic in Baku, Azerbaijan, in the quarterfinals.

Mick and Jay are joined for the first time by The Kopite editor Dan Moxon! The lads dissected the excellent Everton performance after we fielded a side made up of several youngsters - with one of those, 18-year-old Scouser Curtis Jones, grabbing the winner with an absolute belter! The lads then reviewed the previous win in the Premier League vs. Sheff Utd in what was a 'champions' performance to beat an in-form side. The trio then wrapped it up with looking ahead the 4th round of the FA Cup and gave their predictions for the next Premier League game against Jose Mourinho's Tottenham Hotspur.
