Bill Sharpe, British keyboardist and composer, was a founding member of the jazz-funk group Shakatak. Born in 1952, Sharpe developed a love of the piano at an early age, studied music at University, and after a period of being in a band with Trevor Horn, formed Shakatak with Nigel Wright, Roger Odell and Keith Winter. With vocals from Jill Saward, who later became an official member of the band, they quickly rose to fame in the early 1980s with a unique blend of jazz, funk, and pop. We had the pleasure of sitting down and chopping it up with Nigel Wright and man what a dope conversation, very knowledgeable person. Nigel really has a unique and interesting background. He is currently Global Basketball Marketing for New Balance but his journey leading up to this position is really an interesting one. He put in work with the Players Tribute as well as help develop the “ The Knucklehead podcast with Q Rich and D Miles He also worked for the company “The Robot” which is ran by Maverick Carter you can even try to google but will find no info on it, so you can tell it’s only for the elite lol. Just a few places Nigel has left his imprint on. * * Nigel also came up as a Rice Rider so he is not new to this and once you get to hear his journey you are going to understand how inspiring it is. It definitely got my mind working and truly grateful he took the time out and kicked with us. I truly know he is going to do job at New Balance. * * We touched on Kyrie needing a pause for a min, because even I use my mental health days from work when I’m not feeling it lol so what’s the difference? As well as spoke on how former players who are now analyzers criticize those who are playing now. ( I’m talking about trying to kick down players for rating and click bait, I thought the league was supposed to be a fraternity ) and more.... Overall I really enjoyed this sit down...Learned a lot. So many hidden gems * * * The number of people of color in sports is so so small, that when you see something in that position you have to applaud it because the opportunities are not there.... That’s a narrative that definitely has to change ASAP.

Patricia Greene, the actress who plays Jill Archer, makes the case for Elizabeth, Countess of Shrewsbury, or Bess of Hardwick as she's more commonly known. Like her heroine, Patricia was born in Derby and was aware of the nearby grand stately home Hardwick Hall. 'More glass than wall' was the local saying; as the key feature of this 1590s house was the exuberant use of this rare material. Only recently did she discover that the initials 'ES', which are blatantly carved on the turrets, stood for a woman - Elizabeth Shrewsbury. And so began Patricia Greene's admiration and obsession. Who was this woman born in Tudor times, when women had few if any rights at all? Bess ended up becoming the richest woman in the land after Queen Elizabeth I, but she was portrayed by some as a 'cold hearted shrew' who only became rich by marrying four husbands, Patricia's job is to defend her hero. The decision was long, and a bit confusing, and really long. So we dragged back peter Sankoff back on the show to talk about the 'ol Duff and help us understand what happened Peter Sankoff is a Professor at the University of Alberta, Faculty of Law. He concentrates his teaching and research on legal issues surrounding the criminal trial process. Summer break is over and we return with a vengeance. The revelations about malfeasance by the Harper junta never stop. Let's look at a few items with the laser guidance from our guest Amy MacPherson, shall we? - CSEC and their programs like "Landmark" continue to alert Canadians about their over-reach. Their unwarranted, indiscriminate spying continues unabated. - As the Duffy trial nears, it's time to talk about Nigel Wright's true purpose in the PMO. The redirection and misguidance of the Canada Pension Plan, for what else but corporate advantage. - Fracking will not go away any time soon. The shale along the Lake Huron coast is a prime target in Ontario. But it is also targeted by another industry, nuclear power. To deposit nuclear waste. What happens when these two get together? Who is really involved and how? Liberal MP Joyce Murray has proposed a Private Members Bill C-622 that would go a long way to curbing the ever-expanding powers of CSEC. It is well written and inclusive. We will discuss it  Hardly any attention has been paid by the so-called media in Canada to the profound changes made to the CPP on Emperor's watch. It has been irrevocably altered into something resembling a hedge fund, set up by his former Chief of Staff from Onyx, Nigel Wright.
