Rich has featured in 3 of the Elite race majors this season, and in the most recent in Washington D.C. finished 3rd in a time of 58:16, securing himself a spot for the Elite race at the 2024 World Champs. He also holds the men's doubles world record – along with recent podcast guest Pelayo Menendez – in a time of 48:36, and is part of the world record holding men's relay team. In this chat we cover a huge amount including his experiences in the majors this season, how he went from 13th in Vienna to 3rd in Washington in just 3 weeks, his mindset, what he's changed in his training recently, running technique, and lots more.
