BONUS episode with Goal Setting Coach Jackie Carr.  I’m bringing you this extra bonus podcast because I am REALLY passionate about inspiring you to  live a KICK-ASS Life and plow through all the limiting beliefs and bullshit that is holding so many people back.  Jackie Carr is a Goal Coach, a speaker, and the co-founder of ROCK YOUR BLISS a yoga and goals movement that’s all about  inspiring and empowering others to live the life of their dreams. She and her co founder lead retreats, workshops and training around the globe. Chances are this episode is not going to be what you expect from a goal coach… and I mean that in a good way. My hope is that this episode gives you a different perspective on what this year has in store.  We recorded this podcast in mid January while we both were taking it slow and easing into the new year without going crazy on New Year's Resolutions. In fact, both of us still had our Christmas Trees up and hadn’t set one intention for this year.  In this episode we talk about having a toolbox for success when it comes to goals, changing our language around goal setting, what separates people who achieve their goals from those who don’t and more. Jackie is a breath of fresh air… so whether you’re crushing your goals for 2020, aren’t feeling so great about them, or are still easing into 2020 I know you’re going to get a lot out of this episode!  MENTIONED RESOURCES: Jackie’s Retreat: https://seekretreat.com/events/976-Rock-Your-Bliss-in-Sayulita Power of Knowing What You Want Circle: https://static1.squarespace.com/static/586fe3f803596e13f8e450fd/t/58890cbb197aeabedbef0a00/1485376700470/The+Power+of+Knowing+What+You+Want.pdf BOOKS: Atomic Habits by James Clear Living Beautifully with Uncertainty by Pema Chodrön QUOTE by Brené Brown: “Fitting in is about assessing a situation and becoming who you need to be to be accepted. "Bliss not as a facade, but as a moment to moment reality that I choose."Get ready, this episode just might be my favorite of all time! We have both Jacki Carr and Mary Beth LaRue together on the show. (OMG, I know. It's like Christmas morning).Jacki and Mary Beth are the founders of Rock Your Bliss, a coaching and transformation company that I've deeply loved and today, we're talking about some of the biggest tools and topics I've resonated with in their coaching programs. In this episode, we deep dive on faith and trust. These two words alone bring up so much stuff and Jacki and Mary Beth explore how to practice trust when things feel wildly uncertain, when you're grasping at nothing, and in those moments when shit really does hit the fan. They also share how they return to wholeness and self acceptance in those minutes that can feel like weeks. We also touch on crafting an intentional social media practice and this concept of letting go of trying to "make it." As growth seeking beings, we're always on the lookout for what's next or trying to build our lives after we see what other people are doing. We talk a lot about letting go of this "I'll be happy when" syndrome that many of us dwell in. (Including myself at times when I'm not mastering my mindset).Lastly, we touch on intuition, creating space and stillness to the answers to come, and not always reaching for the next big thing. Plus, I adore their take on the importance of creating from abundance versus scarcity. So, tune in and listen to this episode, especially if you need a dose of faith and trust. You'll complete adore it. Grab your matcha, your coffee, or your Four Sigmatic and hang out with us three for the hour.About Rock Your Bliss:Rock Your Bliss offers radical coaching to help you design a life that... well... rocks your bliss. They foster community through self-development practices, vulnerable conversations, and applicable tools.Making Shift Happen is their motto. It's how they live and how they thrive.A transformation company founded by Jacki Carr and Mary Beth LaRue, they offer a unique combination of yoga + coaching which brings action to intention. It's how dreams become reality. Through years of friendship, many sweaty yoga classes and game-changing conversations over green juice or coffee, Jacki, and Mary Beth found a combination that is truly life-altering.In this episode, you'll learn:- What bliss means to them. "Bliss not as a facade, but as a moment to moment reality that I choose." - Jacki Carr- How to practice trust and how Jacki and Mary Beth have individually have learned to trust themselves and each other in their friendship and business.- How Mary Beth trusts that everything works out as it should, especially in the moments when it feels like a free fall or everything is on the line.- How on the other side of trust is transformation. (+ The intuitive nature of trust).- "I need trust like I need air, and sunlight, and water." - Mary Beth LaRue- That you can show up trusting life or you can show up like the world is out to get you.- That when you are grounded and present, it's an amazing time to call in what you are desiring. (+ That the universe is unfolding as it should and life is unfolding as it should).- "Its about being as present as I possibly can to what's occurring in my life. And not evening spending time labeling something as good or bad, but instead just being present for all that is occurring." - Mary Beth LaRue- How our fear brain wants to attack, plan for disaster, and always look for the worst case scenario. When instead, how to tune into that love-based voice in our head or intuition and shift the focus.- Intentional social media use and making sure you're not using it to fill the void or drown out your feelings.- How important it is to carve out space for yourself and why it's vital to get even ten minutes of solo time and space.- "If you watch a tree that isn't producing fruit, you might think it's done producing fruit, but it's not. It's getting the energy to create something else." - Mary Beth LaRue- The importance of creating from abundance versus scarcity.- "It's this balance of loving what is and then having the trust and the collaboration with the universe to create. But if you don't start with the relaxed state of gratitude, then we approach it from a place of scarcity." - Mary Beth LaRueResources Mentioned:- 7-Weeks to Bliss- Level 2 of Rock Your Bliss- Vital Proteins- Four Sigmatic- La Croix- Living Beautifully with Uncertainty and Change by Pema Chodron- Martha Beck- Jacki's book club: Novel Grapes- Eastern Body Western Mind by Anodea Judith- Jess Davis of Folk Rebellion- The Desire Map by Danielle LaPorte- Lewis Howes- Brene BrownFind Jacki & Mary Beth:Instagram: @jackicarrjackicarr.comInstagram: @marybethlaruemarybethlarue.comrockyourblissmovement.comInstagram: @rockyourblissFind Kelly:Instagram: @kellytrachkellytrach.comMusic for The Kelly Trach Show is by Ikson: soundcloud.com/iksonSupport for today's show comes from:Four SigmaticNo jitters, packed with superfoods, and no stomach flare-ups like regular coffee. Mary Beth LaRue is one of those people who even though they teach hundreds, if not thousands at festivals like Wanderlust, still feels so down-to-earth. As I happened to walk past her at Wanderlust Snowshoe, I recognized her and thought, "There is no way she will remember me from 3 years ago and from Instagram." But sure enough, she stopped mid sentence and came over and gave me a hug! Is that legit or what? MB is a co-founder + coach over at Rock Your Bliss, in which you may remember that her counterpart Jacki Carr was on episode #9. Aside from slaying it over in bliss land, she also teaches yoga at Wanderlust Hollywood and at several Wanderlust Festivals and 108s. Dream career, am I right? This woman is sure to make you wanna be her friend, and I was so pumped to talk 1:1 with her after girlboss-crushing since I met her 3 years ago. THIS WEEK'S GIRL TALK: Not shoulding on your meditation practice, yoga off the mat, how she created a full time yoga career, how she got over her fear of public speaking to teach hundreds, how internal work leads to external shifts, and reactionary self care versus proactive self care.

Have you ever looked up to someone a whole lot? You just totally love everything that they do and feel really connected to their message, their business, or how they live their life? Well that's how I feel about Jacki Carr of Rock Your Bliss, which is why I thought I was over my head when I decided to reach out to her for a podcast interview, even though we had met about 3 years prior... Lucky for me, the Goal Coach, Writer, Motivational Speaker, and Mama to Evergreen said hell yes, and I was in my own little bliss bubble while recording! #goalsalive as Jacki would say... This episode is pretty jam packed with goodness, but some of the topics are self care as a choice, not a should, The Sacred Pause, yoga as a metaphor for her self-evolution, motherhood, body image and role modeling, legacy, and Jacki's messy journaling practice. From teaching hundreds at Lululemon, to leading sold-out retreats in tree-houses, and speaking at Patagonia HQ, I am HONORED to have Jacki on this podcast, and I think you'll love her too!
