Before SUR ruled West Hollywood another sassy, unique restaurant made a splash on reality TV. Saddle Ranch aired on VH1 for one season in 2011, and almost starred our host, Christy Olson. The behind the bar chaos rivaled what you would see on Bravo TV's Vanderpump Rules. But Christy's experience filming the pilot of Saddle Ranch was more like Survivor than Scandoval. This is the very L.A. story of how she went from executive assistant at E! to slingin' big blue drinks in front of the camera, and learned a painful lesson about what it would take to make her dreams come true. Lauren Weedman (Abbott Elementary, Hacks, Looking) is here for a deep meditation on dating in LA, working with celebrities, and Season 3 Ep 13 of Sex and the City, “Escape From New York.” And as we mounted the bull at Saddle Ranch together, I couldn't help but wonder: Did Garth the dildo model ever publish his poetry? Got a burning question about a relationship or friendship problem (or really anything Sex and the City adjacent)? Just record a voice memo on your phone and email it to AndJustLikeMatt@gmail.com and Matt will answer your question on the show with his very fancy guests.

Our second episode in LA is met with just as much chaos as the first one. First we recap the legendary performance of Mal Backwoods and Rory Mcilroy at Calabasas Country Club. Mal was an assassin with the putter, while Rory used one club. The team hit Saddle Ranch where we were surprised by Baby D…who chose to straddle the bull, while Eddin fell off immediately. We've wrapped our LA show (sold out) and just like in Seattle, Mal was able to tear apart another couple. There was a lot of sexting and a 7-person jumping in Tulum. After the show, Mal and Julian got mixy and stood on couches. Demaris smoked hookah and Eddin “edited some things”. We then dig into Gunna's case…is he a snitch? Does that matter? We discuss the possibility of our own RICO…sorry Eddin, you're getting locked up. Staying in LA, Meg & Tory trial is the craziest court case since OJ. Shoutout the Kardashian connection. Listen in as the guys discuss all of this + more!
Asshur talks with his group of friend who traveled to Los Angeles (LA), California together. This trip was an epic experience. It was literally a reality TV show. So the guys could not wait to gather again to recap their experiences, just like the wrap up of a good season of a TV show. This episode is filled with lots of humor, and SHADE lol! It also has lots of great tips and ticks. It is a long one but a good one. Hopefully soon we will have the Nico Response, since much of this episode was spent focuses on Nico, who surprisingly became a dissenting character of this trip, lol. Here are some of the restaurant tips offered in this episode: Fixins, Saddle Ranch, Mama Por Dios (Beverly Hills) and The Breakfast Club. Literally all great spots. Also, as mentioned, ensure that you take a trip to the Griffith Observatory. The views here wont disappoint you. But the science is is also mind blowing. If you want to see Asshur's vlogs and get a bit more from this trip head over to AsshurK on Youtube to see more. Hannah Rose Huntley and James Jericho met one fateful night at Saddle Ranch, a Western Bar on the Sunset Strip in Hollywood. The duo quickly developed their own distinct writing style, and hit the studio with RIAA certified Platinum producer, Jordan Richman. The two then created their first band, The SLVR Tongues, and after being discovered by Nashville based manager, Preston Sullivan of Global Eyes Entertainment, the pair decided to take the opportunity to pursue their music at a new level, and moved to Music City. Home is Where the Neon Is: The two quickly found a haven in the Downtown Nashville scene, performing at the hottest country bars, and soaking up the neon lights of Broadway. With the release of their first EP, "Rough Around the Edges," the group began finding success on streaming platforms, Nashville band circuits, and even on an international tour. Their growth attracted more support from the Nashville music industry, and along with Global Eyes Entertainment, Hannah and James extended their management team to include The Holland Group. As the duo's sound and image began to reflect the Nashville nights that had come to shape the two as artists, Hannah and James felt the need for a new name that embodied all that they'd grown to become. Enter. Jericho Rose. A natural pairing of two best friends, with clever storytelling lyrics and a dynamic mix up of new country sounds, James Jericho and Hannah “Rose” Huntley are both at their best when singing together in perfect harmony. http://www.jerichoroseofficial.com/ @jerichoroseofficial Follow us on Instagram: @TheMorningSpotlight Email us at: themorningspotlight@gmail.com www.themorningspotlight.com For title insurance inquiries contact Mike at michael.ham@ctt.com Buy Mike a Coffee!
