The OnlyFans battlefield has never been hotter—or more twisted. In a world where simping fuels empires and sex appeal is a weapon, two of the platform's most provocative queens are locked in a feud that's as personal as it is performative. Sophie Rain, the baby-faced billionaire fantasy, and Bonnie Blue, the leather-clad dominatrix of digital depravity, are more than rivals—they're cultural foils exposing the dirty underbelly of influencer erotica and the hypocrisy baked into the platforms that made them famous.Sophie Rain, barely out of her teens, has mastered the art of being softcore and sacrosanct all at once. Marketed as a "virgin" archetype with pouty innocence and just enough coquettish confidence to leave simps thirsting for more, she's cashed in big—to the tune of $6 million from a single obsessed benefactor (The Tab). Her brand is built on the illusion of accessibility—she's almost yours, but never quite. Her age, her softness, her "girl next door" energy? It's a curated fantasy, designed to let lonely men feel like they're protecting her, even as they're bankrolling her into stardom. But enter Bonnie Blue: the villain in leather heels, who doesn't whisper—she bites. Known for her aggressively dominant persona, Bonnie doesn't play sweet. She plays cruel. But recent headlines shattered even that illusion, exposing a darker truth. In a searing exposé (The Tab), multiple women accused Blue of mental torment and cyberstalking, alleging she unleashed her fanbase like attack dogs on anyone who dared question her power. The dominatrix, it seems, likes to play psychological games even off-screen—blurring the lines between performance and predation. That's when Sophie Rain pounced. In a scathing viral interview with Complex (read here), Rain publicly eviscerated Blue, calling her a menace and a disgrace to the OnlyFans community. But here's the kicker: while Rain denounces Bonnie's cruelty, she weaponizes her own version of manipulation—selling a sanitized, submissive brand of sexuality that thrives on infantilization and male obsession. One plays predator, the other plays prey—but both profit from the same cycle of parasocial seduction. It's a tale of two temptresses in a digital coliseum, both exploiting men's lust and loneliness to climb the algorithm. Bonnie gives you pain and punishment; Sophie gives you purity and the promise of a DM. But strip away the branding, and both are running the same game—one just does it with bows and blush, the other with whips and war paint. This isn't just a catfight—it's a cultural reckoning. The “virgin vs vamp” dynamic is playing out in real time, fueled by simps, stans, and a society obsessed with fetishizing women as either saints or sinners. As Sophie and Bonnie tear each other down, what's really being exposed is the twisted morality of the platforms and the audience that reward performance over principle. In the end, OnlyFans isn't just about selling sex—it's about selling roles. And in the clash between innocence and intimidation, it's the audience who pays to keep the drama—and the dollars—flowing.Contact KOP for professional podcast production, imaging, and web design services at http://www.kingofpodcasts.comSupport KOP by subscribing to his YouTube channel and search for King Of PodcastsFollow KOP on X or TikTok or LinkedIn @kingofpodcastsFind KOP's other programs, Podcasters Row… and the Wrestling is Real Wrestling Podcast and The Broadcasters Podcast at http://www.kingofpodcasts.comBuy KOP a Coffee https://buymeacoffee.com/kingofpodcastsDrop KOP a PayPal https://www.paypal.com/donate?hosted_button_id=3TAB983ZQPNVLDrop KOP a CashApp https://cash.app/$kingofallpodcastsBecome a supporter of this podcast: https://www.spreaker.com/podcast/depraved-and-debaucherous--5267208/support.

This week Ari sits down with Sarah McTaggart from the band Transviolet, an alternative pop-rock band that's been popping off on the international scene. Transviolet started out by signing with Epic Records in 2015 after their debut single, "Girls Your Age," went viral. The band moved between several major labels at the start of their career, but they're now completely self-represented. Transviolet has played Late Shows with Colbert and James Corden; they've had notable syncs including the Pretty little Liars theme song; they've played huge festivals like SXSW, Governor's Ball and Firefly; and they recently released their fourth studio album, Softcore.Sarah tells Ari about Transviolet's experiences working with a label and how things have changed since going independent. They talk about the ins-and-outs of touring (including Transviolet's upcoming US tour), how the band got started, and a brilliant guerilla marketing technique they used to promote one of their early releases. Transviolet also had the surprising experience of finding out they were big in China (hot tip: you might be too!). In this episode, you'll learn about how they discovered they were big over there and how you can check for yourself, too. https://transviolet.com/Chapters00:00 The Evolution of the Music Business02:53 Transviolet's Journey to Independence06:02 The Creative Process Behind 'Softcore'08:54 Exploring Vulnerability in Music12:12 The Duality of Persona15:09 Navigating Relationships and Personal Growth17:50 Marketing Innovations in the Music Industry21:11 The Impact of Major Labels vs. Independence36:13 Redefining the Artist's Team39:34 The Evolution of Digital Marketing in Music44:14 Navigating Social Media's Impact on Music51:07 Exploring International Touring Experiences57:21 The Dynamics of Touring and Band Changes01:08:28 Creating Art: The Journey of Songwriting and ProductionEdited and mixed by Ari DavidsMusic by Brassroots DistrictProduced by the team at Ari's TakeOrder the THIRD EDITION of How to Make It in the New Music Business: https://book.aristake.com Hosted on Acast. How a softcore porn soundtrack composer, teamed up with the “The Good, The Bad & The Ugly” movie theme whistler, get a boost from a comedian from the '40s, and then get boosted by The Muppets to create one of the greatest earworms… EVER. And as earworm-y as the song is… its creator had zero idea of what he had created. Back in the 1960s pornography was illegal in most of the world so creative people made “nature documentaries'' featuring nudists, among other things, and “Viva la Sauna Svedese” or “Hooray for the Swedish Sauna” was written by Italian composer Piero Umilani for a 30-second clip of Swedish women walking into a sauna. He then threw it into a file of the music he had created for the movie and sold it to a company that wanted U.S. rights. He had so little regard for it he didn't even note its inclusion, and that's where its crazy journey to becoming the greatest earworm of all time takes off! - Welcome to the Quintana Show. I am open to being featured in this: “Softcore is an adjective that describes anything that is a softer or gentler alternative to hardcore content. There is softcore music, softcore workouts and softcore sporting fans. In pornongraphy, softcore usually describes images and films that are sexual in nature, but not as explicit as hardcore pornographic works. The term softcore can also be shorthand for softcore pornography or softcore porn. Softcore content places a greater emphasis on sensuality than sex. The models or actors in softcore content may never even touch another person. Instead, they may model lingerie or perform a sensual striptease for the camera. The camera aims to capture the beauty of the female or male form. Softcore works can also show models or actors interacting sensually and sexually. Softcore works typically present these interactions in the context of loving relationships. They may spend more time kissing, embracing, or caressing one another than in hardcore works. Softcore works do not typically show actual penetration although the actors may simulate it. While softcore content may show solo or mutual masturbation, it generally does not show oral sex or ejaculation. While the performers are often nude or semi-nude, softcore works usually do not show erect penises. If they do show erect penises, it's unlikely that the aroused actor or costars would touch the erections. Vulvas may be shown, although they are sometimes digitally manipulated to suit local censorship standards. Softcore models and actors may wear latex genital covers to prevent intimate physical contact during simulated sex. Like works that are hardcore, softcore content still aims to arouse its viewers. It was originally seen in men's magazines of the 1950s when it was still considered unacceptable to show explicitly sexual images. While softcore images appeared earlier, The New York Times was the first publication to use the term softcore in 1966. Softcore content was very popular from the 1970s to the 1990s. However, with the rise of free hardcore porn online, softcore porn has become less common.” --- Send in a voice message: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/antonio-myers4/message Support this podcast: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/antonio-myers4/support
