We had the pleasure of interviewing Brooke Annibale over Zoom video.Montego Bay, Jamaica raised vocalist, songwriter and producer Hezron Clarke released his album, M.O.A.M. (Man on a Mission), via Tad's Record (Ernie Ranglin, Tanya Stephens). Recorded in Reggae's birthplace, Kingston Jamaica, M.O.A.M. features some of Jamaica's greatest musicians including Dean Fraser (saxophone), Kirk “Kirkle Dove” Bennett (drums), Donald “Danny Bassie” Dennis (bass), Mitchum Khan (guitar), Carol “Bowie” McLaughlin (keyboards) and Robbie Lyn (keyboards). On a lyrical front, the album embodies feel-good vibes with motivational and inspirational concepts that encourage patience and resilience. With inspiration from classic soul artists such as Luther Vandross, Otis Redding and Sam Cooke, to 90's favorites KC and Jojo and Dave Hollister to iconic Jamaican singers Beres Hammond and Dennis Brown, Hezron has embodied his own classic vocal and musical style while taking notes from some of the greats. Hezron released his debut album The Life I Live(d) on Tad's Record in 2015. His return to the label with M.O.A.M. unites two established Jamaican brands, each committed to proving that quality reggae with the potential for widespread global appeal is still being made in the music's birthplace. Although many younger Jamaican artists embrace trap and hip-hop over indigenous reggae and dancehall, a stark contrast to the proliferation of young American reggae bands, especially in California, Tad's Record founder Tad Dawkins is determined to see Jamaican reggae restored to prominence internationally. It's very easy to get stuck in a mindset of “I've chosen THIS thing, so all other things are off the table, because once you choose THIS thing, then THESE are the things I HAVE to do." But who says we have to? Dr Tanya Stephens' career is that it's not just one thing. Her story clearly demonstrates that you don't HAVE to do anything in a certain way. Clinical practice doesn't have to take up all your time and exclude other interests. Practice ownership doesn't have to be a ball and chain. Having young kids doesn't have to mean you can't run a business. Research doesn't have to be done just by 'researchers'. Dr Tanya Stephens is a small animal practice owner and practitioner who still very much enjoys practice. As a practitioner, she is particularly interested in professional ethics and promoting evidence-based medicine. She is also a wildlife researcher with original research on galactosaemia in kangaroos. Her interests lie in animal welfare, research, evidence-based medicine, professional ethics, wildlife and sustainable agriculture and she is a regular presenter and published author on these topics. She is the editor of One Welfare in Practice: the Role of the Veterinarian and is a Fellow of the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons. Tanya is past President of the ANZCVS Animal Welfare Chapter, past President of AVAWE, the welfare and ethics branch of the AVA, an exec member of AVCB, which is the Conservation Biology branch of the AVA, Chair of the AVA's Animal Welfare Trust, honorary consulting veterinarian for the Children's Medical Research Institute, veterinary member of the NSW Civil and Administrative Tribunal, Chair of the NSW Kangaroo Management Advisory Panel and member of the Kangaroo Management Taskforce plus the Chair of the NSW Greyhound Welfare Integrity Commission Animal Welfare Committee. Over the past 4 years, Nowlege has recorded a number of singles that have been getting some great views on various internet radio stations and around the Kansas City area. One of the most popular is “Reggae Music” which has the reggae lovers in Kansas City in frenzy. While working on his style and his delivery, Nowlege has done a number of shows opening up for some of the industry's best such as, International recording artist Shaggy, Sizzla, Tarrus Riley, Kiprich, Serani, Tanya Stephens, Capleton just to name a few. So far this year Nowlege has collaborated with Red Square Recording artist Xyclone on a track titled ‘Di Future' which is also getting great feedback from fans. Tanya is a financial and business banking professional, entrepreneur, published author, wife, mom, world traveler, hobbiset , gourmet chef and fitness fanatic.She is a bank president who previously owned and operated a boutique tanning salon that was voted the best in our city for each year that she owned it. She also runs a house flipping business.Tanya published a book in 2019 on Amazon Kindle titled “this is my tribe” which describes the importance of women coming together to support each other through true stories which she has experienced in her own life.Tanya loves to travel in her free time and sees it not only as a relaxation opportunity but also as an educational and growth experience. This is where her love of cooking stemmed from, as she loves to re-create these dishes she has experienced throughout her travels as well as develops recipes of her own. Tanya Stephens, (born 2 July 1973 in St. Mary, Jamaica, as Vivienne Tanya Stephenson is an influential reggae artist who emerged in the late 1990s. Stephens is most known for her hits "Yuh Nuh Ready Fi Dis Yet" — the single was later featured on the Reggae Gold 1997 compilation album — and "It's a Pity", for which Tanya achieved international recognition. She and business partner Andrew Henton have together co-founded Tarantula Records.  Jamaica's International Reggae Super Star Tanya Stephens chat "ITS a PITY"
