Together, they explore the concept of mind maps, discussing their definition, purpose, and practical applications in personal development.Join them as they break down mind mapping, emphasizing its role as a visual representation of thoughts that helps organize and clarify ideas. John shares his expertise on the benefits of mind maps, highlighting how they can reduce mental clutter, enhance decision-making, and provide clarity in both personal and professional contexts.Throughout the conversation, Gabrielle and John delve into the differences between mind maps and vision boards. Is it time to redefine the consulting playbook with AI as your new operating partner? From Cognizant's bold move with Anthropic to the shifting role of human consultants, the team looks at how embedded intelligence is reshaping strategy execution and value creation in professional services. This week, Pete Buer breaks down why Cognizant's enterprise-scale rollout of Claude AI to each of its 350,00 team members AND co-selling it is more than just a tech headline. It's a blueprint for AI as a transformational tool for how services are delivered. Pete and Courtney also dig into what Digg founder and VC investor Kevin Rose's blunt take on which AI wearables he'll consider investing in signals acrosss the broader AI ecosystem. And in our weekly roundtable segment, David and Mohan join Courtney to explore how an AI Operating Partner for professional services companies might not replace consultants, but rather elevate them, shifting their focus from analysis to storytelling, judgment, and client empathy. The real challenge? Avoiding the trap of AI-enabled mediocrity. What happens when analysts live in the cloud and consultants lead with wisdom? Tune in to this week's show to find out. “The dead internet theory is real,” Reddit co-founder Alexis Ohanian told Digg founder Kevin Rose, referring to the idea that much of the internet isn't human — it's mostly bots. The two entrepreneurs have since teamed up to re-envision how to build a social community in this world where, very soon, it will be hard to tell bot from human. Also, Canva is launching new features like Forms, email design, and makes Affinity free for all users. Learn more about your ad choices. Visit podcastchoices.com/adchoices

How do we build products and platforms that support a healthy, prosperous future? What will it take to “make the internet fun again?” Should kids be using AI? This week, serial entrepreneur and investor Alexis Ohanian—who co-founded Reddit two decades ago and is currently working to reinvent the social news aggregator Digg—joins Reid and Aria to talk about (re)building online and offline communities in the age of AI. They hear from Alexis on his recent bid for U.S. TikTok, the startups and women's sports ventures he's backing through his VC firm Seven Seven Six, and his approach to raising AI-forward daughters with his wife, tennis legend Serena Williams. Most of all, it asks: what if, in the future, everything breaks humanity's way? Tune in for grounded and speculative takes on how technology—and, in particular, AI—is inspiring change and transforming the future. Hosted by Reid Hoffman and Aria Finger, each episode features an interview with an ambitious builder or deep thinker on a topic, from art to geopolitics and from healthcare to education. These conversations also showcase another kind of guest: AI. Each episode seeks to enhance and advance our discussion about what humanity could possibly get right if we leverage technology—and our collective effort—effectively.

It's bonus episode time! Marques, Andrew, and David took the stage at SXSW 2025 this past Saturday to live in front of an audience for the first time! They started with the news that Apple Intelligence is getting delayed (again) before talking a bit about Digg making a comeback. If you don't know what Digg is, don't worry Andrew explains it. Then they took a bunch of questions from audience members with topics ranging from podcasting to AI and health tech. It was super fun to do our first live show and thank you do much to everyone that came to check it out! We had a blast and can't wait to do another one. In this episode, what's old is new again, and what's new is... AI again. The Verge's Allison Johnson and Dominic Preston join David to discuss their experience at Mobile World Congress 2025, where they saw the latest devices from Xiaomi, Samsung, Realme, and others — and found themselves confronted with some big, surprising new ideas about how our smartphones should look and work. After that, Kevin Rose and Justin Mezzell talk about the process of bringing Digg back, and how AI can improve the way social networks operate. Digg got a lot of things right two decades ago, and plans to do it all over again now. Finally, we answer a question about printers from the Vergecast Hotline (call 866-VERGE11 or email vergecast@theverge.com!), with some help from Framework CEO Nirav Patel. Apple's new gadgets this week were pretty minor updates, so of course we talk about them for a long time. Nilay and David are joined by The Verge's Jake Kastrenakes, and the three hosts discuss the latest iPad, iPad Air, MacBook Air, and Mac Studio. All three have... a lot of thoughts. After that, they run through some more tech news, including the Digg reboot, the end of Skype, VW's cheap new EV, and more. Finally, in the lightning round, they talk about the latest from DOGE and the Trump administration, Brendan Carr's latest assaults on free speech, and a smartphone that is mostly (but not entirely) a camera.
