Castella hit the music scene in April 2020 with the release of her original tune No Ordinary Love. Hailing from Long Beach, California, Castella has sang her entire life. Castella's family and friends know her as Cathy Rebecca Crowell-Thompson - wife, mother of 3 and Human Resources (HR) Executive. In the latter part of her career in HR, she was inspired to tap into the creative side of her brain by mentor and writing partner, Darryl Swann. Castella released her first EP -Thinking About You, produced by Corey Stampley, in late 2019. She released her first single from that EP "No Ordinary Love"in April 2020. He moved to California to further pursue a music career on the west coast. While working as Director of Entertainment at Sambi of Tokyo in Los Angeles, he performed there seven nights a week, backed by a three-piece band. Allan also performed in Las Vegas, at venues such as The Aladdin and The Sahara on the strip. Following Vegas, Allan moved back to Orange County, California to play the nightclub circuit at venues such as The Del Ray, Mama Cozza’s, The Queen Mary in Long Beach, and the LGT Vegas in Los Angeles.Along with performing for the past 40 years, Allan has composed over 200 songs, many of which have been recorded and released nationally and internationally. Allan has also composed numerous songs for non-profit organizations such as The Ronald McDonald House in Cleveland, Ohio, The Vanished Children's Alliance, and the Relay for Life/The American Cancer Society. Allan also has songs licensed through Crucial Music out of Los Angeles, California. One of his placements is the song “I Wanna Feel Your Body” by Maria Jacobs that was featured in the Cinemax T.V. show Banshee. Allan has worked as musical director for TV and stage productions such as the 1993 Michael Whitely film Production of “Shooting Star,” and the 2000 Darvy Traylor musical TV variety show based out of Orange County California. He has also acted as a judge for several singing competitions such as “The National Singing Star” and “Heights Got Talent” held at Cain Park.Since moving back to Cleveland in 2009, Allan has been teaching pop voice and piano. He is currently writing and producing for many local and national recording artists. To date Allan has had 15 of his songs in rotation on local, national, and international radio programming. His original songs “We’ve Gotta Have Love” “Baby I Love You” by Ezre, “I Can’t Help but Love You” (co-written with Jonathon Hansen) and “Real Love” (co-written with Frederick and Ray Ruffin which reached #1 on the UK Soul Charts) by Frederick Davis are a few of his notable recordings. Rebecca is also a jazz vocalist and released an album of Cole Porter classics titled, Planet Cole Porter, with arranger/producer/jazz guitar virtuoso Peter Sprague, which earned them a 2018 San Diego Music Award for “Best Jazz Album”. Rebecca Jade & the Cold Fact recently released their sophomore album, Running out of Time. Rebecca is currently working on her first solo project, set for 2020 release, and earned the “Artist of the Year” award for this year's SDMAs. Rebecca is an actor, having done a variety of work for clients, such as SDG&E, Pechanga Casino, Qualcomm and UCSD, and featured as a singer in the film, “5 Hour Friends” (starring Tom Sizemore). She is also a pin-up model for Temptress Fashion, a vintage-inspired boutique. Rebecca graduated from UC Berkeley on a full basketball scholarship with a degree in Theatre & Performance Studies, and has earned her MBA in Marketing from the University of Phoenix. She has also advanced her musical education by studying Jazz Theory and Classical Voice at Grossmont College. Rebecca is an avid motorcycle rider, has an affinity for classic cars, and loves the Arts community as a whole. Brandon is one of the premiere drummers on Detroit’s live music scene and is well known in the industry for his ability to play play numerous instruments and for his versatile repertoire. In 2009, he collaborated with Vickie Winans on How I Got Over. The album earned him 9 Stellar Awards nominations including one win, a Grammy Award nomination, and a NAACP Image Award. Today, Jones' sensibility as a player and musical background make him a versatile producer, capable of engineering music catering to each artist's unique voice. In 2012 he earned #1 on UK Soul Charts with Tatiana LadyMay Mayfield on the song, "Real" from her debut album, Portrait of Lady May.
