Shula explains that Alice turned up and asked Shula to sell Banjo for her so that she could cover the cost of returning to rehab. Shula agreed but decided to lend Alice the money in advance, so that she could return to rehab immediately before she changed her mind. Alice swore Shula to secrecy as she wanted to take control of her life. Jennifer's sad that Alice didn't feel she could approach her but thankful that Shula was there for her. Jennifer tells Shula she owes her a debt of gratitude. Shula confides in Jennifer that she understands addiction, but that she also really believed Alice when she said she wanted to get better. Jennifer hopes she's right.

However, predicting a less than positive trajectory for Pandora, she moved to a position in online revenue operations with file sharing platform, Dropbox. After only one year she was selected to help instigate the company’s international profile with a move to Dublin. In eleven months their initial team of seven grew to seventy - a huge feat! Mooliano Faze is a laid back, down to earth person who just happens to be one of the funniest people you’ll ever meet. Rebecca started her career in film during her Masters at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art. As part of her degree she financed and staged a play at the Edinburgh International Fringe Festival. This was her first foray into producing. Further to this Rebecca produced a number of theatre plays and worked for  a prolific US film producer. Rebecca was passionate about stories - the film medium, collaborating with creatives and understanding the business. Rebecca started to produce music videos and short films. Her music videos were shown on the main satellite channels and her short films competed in several high profile film festivals including Clermont Ferrand.   Rebecca's first film 'Forget Me Not' was inspired by classic love films. This is a consultation I did with a gentleman named Ian from the UK who is a buyer of my Audio Marketing Secrets course. He says that he has a bit of difficulty coming up with the best topics for information products and wanted my advice. First and foremost, Ian has a passion for audio and would like to develop an Information Product showing people how to create and sell Information Products using audio very similar to my own AMS course. His other ideas for Information Products include running a bed and breakfast business and showing people how to buy holiday homes and renting them out for a profit. With Ian’s vast experience with the technical aspects of audio, you will hear me suggest that creating an Information Product showing people how to create and sell Information Products using audio is probably his best idea. With Ian back stateside and Dan back in Bali, the guys have said goodbye (for now) to their time in the Philippines and are back to biznass. This week, they are chatting about the re-launch of their lifestyle business site, Tropical Work Force. During their time chatting up colleagues and friends in the Philippines, they learned that many entrepreneurs were interested in hiring “interns” of their own to grow their businesses and share their knowledge with. Having been through this process ten times now, Dan & Ian have quite a bit of experience helping people become location independent while working to grow their companies. Some of the experience is great and some…well…let’s just say they learned a lot. Overall, they came up with 5 Tips To A Successful Internship 1. Paid Vs. Unpaid – Put your money where your intern is 2. Get a commitment – Make the gig full-time 3. Give them space – Create opportunities for them to network and meet your peers (Apartment, Join you in your house, Dynamite Circle forums) 4. Ride ’em hard – These folks aren’t your average employee, challenge them and believe you have something to offer 5. Touch base – No one likes to be micromanaged, but you need to have open communication with your interns

For this podcast I am joined by Ian, who is now a member of the Song, by Toad Records team, to go through a bit of a run-down of what's going to be happening on the label this year. We've got a couple of our more recent releases, like Rob St. John and Lil Daggers, as well as some of our confirmed and ready new albums for next year, by the likes of The Leg, Jesus H. Foxx and Yusuf Azak. I've also got a couple of tracks from bands we'll be releasing on a split 12" in the Spring.  We'll be recording that stuff in our house next week, so the songs we chose to represent those bands are for obvious reasons not the final ones we'll be releasing, just tracks by the bands so you can get a bit of a flavour of what we're up to. With Ian on board and based on the good press we managed last year I am hoping we can really kick on with the label this year and make a decent impression.  Obviously the third Meursault album will  help, what with them being our most established band, but we have a good spread of stuff, from bands like Dolfinz with only a few demos to their name, to the likes of Yusuf Azak and The Leg who people know already and then the Foxx album, which has been 'much anticipated' for a while now.
