Dr. Jordan Hubbard has always had a passion for the human body, how it works, and the physiology of how it is regulated. In high school, she found her passion for dentistry. She graduated from the University of North Carolina Wilmington's Honors College with a BS in biology and minor in psychology in 2013. She went on to graduate from the University of Detroit Mercy School of Dentistry in 2017 and was awarded the AGD Excellence Award signifying she showed the highest excellence in general dentistry in her class. She also graduated with the ASDA Certificate of Excellence Award, received a Deans Circle Scholarship, and took additional courses to get her Certificate in Forensic Odontology. After graduation, she worked as an associate while taking continuing education courses in implantology, pediatric dentistry, and cosmetic dentistry. Once she purchased her practice in 2020, and had children of her own, she became fascinated with infant frenectomies and airway dentistry. She has spent the last 3 years studying her craft, and has taken courses from leading experts in the field including Dr. Richard Baxter, Dr. Soroush Zaghi, Dr. Jared Poplin, and Dr. Erin Elliot. In her free time, she enjoys giving back, and found a way to do so with the Mommy Dentists in Business. As the regional leader for MDIB of the Carolinas, Dr. Hubbard enjoys planning events and meet-ups for women in her area to have fun, talk dentistry, and provide mentorship and support for each other. She is also active in her local study clubs, is the Vice President of the North Carolina Chapter of the American Association of Women Dentists, and is the owner of her practice, Hubbard Dental, in Pinehurst North Carolina. She has earned a Mastership in the Academy of General Dentistry and the AGD Life Long Learning and Service Recognition Award. Dr. Lee Ann Brady lives in Phoenix, Arizona with her husband Kelly and three children Sarah, Jenna and Kyle. She owns Desert Sun Smiles Dental Care, a private restorative practice in Glendale, Arizona. Outside of her private practice, Dr. Brady is the Director of Education for Clinical Mastery, a series of hands-on education programs focused on occlusion and restorative dentistry. She is the founder and lead curator of Restorative Nation, a supportive learning community for dentists. In 2010 she was recognized by Dental Products Report as one of the “Top 25 Women Dentists in the U.S.” in the category of dental educators. In 2005 she joined the non-profit Pankey Institute as their first female resident faculty member. Within a year she was promoted to Clinical Director and held this position until November of 2008. In 2008 she was asked to join Dr. Frank Spear in the formation of Spear Education and the expansion of his curriculum. As the Executive VP of Clinical Education at Spear Education, she managed the development and delivery of all programs in addition to her teaching responsibilities. Dr. Kathleen T. O’Loughlin, of Medford, Mass., became the American Dental Association’s executive director/chief operating officer June 1. Prior to joining the ADA staff, Dr. O’Loughlin worked briefly for United Healthcare as its chief dental officer after having served as a consultant to Tufts University School of Dental Medicine, Boston, on curriculum development in preparation for expansion of the dental school facility and the Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences (MCPHS), Forsyth School of Dental Hygiene, Boston, in preparation for its 2009 accreditation. She received her dental degree (summa cum laude) from Tufts in 1981 and a master’s degree in public health and health care management from Harvard School of Public Health, Boston, in 1998. She received her bachelor’s degree in biology (cum laude) in 1973 from Boston University. She is the first woman to hold the position of ADA executive director. From 2002–2007, Dr. O’Loughlin served as president and chief executive officer of Dental Services of Massachusetts, Inc. (d.b.a. Delta Dental of Massachusetts) where, through her leadership, the company doubled its reserves, increased membership by 400 percent and executed a successful five-year growth plan. Also during her leadership, Dental Services of Massachusetts made charitable contributions of $53 million, which included endowed professorships at the dental schools at Tufts, Harvard and Boston University, as well as at MCPHS. She is an assistant clinical professor in the Tufts Department of General Dentistry and a member of the Tufts University Board of Trustees. For more than 25 years, Dr. O’Loughlin has been a member of the ADA, the Massachusetts Dental Society and the East Middlesex District Dental Society.
