Justin and Pete talk with Colin Payne and Geoff Wicken, the men behind The Treasury and YBR. The duo discuss Colin's latest book, 'Golden Shots and Visions of Blue', which brings Watford history to life through the colourization of black & white photographs from the 1950s and 60s, a crucial yet underappreciated era for the football club and discuss the journey of the club through blue to gold.Topics include the change of kit colour, what kind of hat in the 1960's could be used to smuggle a flask into the ground, just how high was the Rookery terrace roof and which club chairman would steal bread rolls from his own club. Susan and Clark were married in 1985, three months after they met. Six weeks after the wedding, Susan's daughter was taken away by social services and Clark was accused of sexually molesting Susan's 9-year-old daughter from her first marriage. Susan was told she had to force Clark to move out and support the allegation or she would never get her daughter back. The situation went from bad to worse to truly bizarre. Most relationships would not have withstood the stress, but instead of caving to the pressure, Susan and Clark fought back against the system, became activists, and started a national movement for family preservation. Thirty-six years later, they are still together living live in the country outside a small town in north Texas with their four chihuahuas. Their story is told in Susan's recently released book Wheels of Injustice: Saving My Child from the Child Savers. What's it going to take to really have that deep, loving, connection in your marriage? It's not doing fun things together, helping each other out throughout the day or even dates. Yes, those things will bond you but to take it one step further, you've got to start having those raw, honest conversations. Yes, they are uncomfortable. Yes, they are vulnerable. Yes, they may bring pain, tears and facts that you wish to be in denial about. As you have these difficult conversations more often, I don't know if they will become easier for you but they will bring you closer, make you stronger, help you grow and develop a deeper love for each other. (They may even become addicting!) Jacqui and Stephen are the prefect example of couple who have learned how to be comfortable with the uncomfortable. They have navigated many challenges throughout their relationship from addictions to mental health issues and have learned the value of open, honest communication which has been the pillar for their successful relationship. Their relationship continues to grow from strength to strength due to their willingness to provide open, safe spaces for each other to navigate their childhood traumas. They are more in love today than they were when they first met. Jacqui and Stephen have been together for over 25 years and have 2 amazing children aged 24 and 21. They first met at a holiday park whereby Stephen knew immediately that they were made for each other. They believe the key to them having a long relationship is the power of open, honest, forgiving conversations. Each new breakthrough deepens their love and spiritual connection. SOUND : クッキー / BURNT SIENNA TRANCE BGM : Counter Attack Blues (Bass&Horns Ver.) / YBR's Splash Track BGM : Now Get Busy / Beastie Boys SOUND : Where Are My Wings? The freshest podcasts in the known universeというポッドキャストの新着情報を集めているサイトにPingを飛ばしているので、その情報でも載せているのかななんて思った。
BGM1 : Counter Attack Blues (Bass&Horns Ver.) / YBR's Splash Track BGM2 : No Meaning No (feat. Fine Arts Militia) / Chuck D BGM3 : Looking for an ending / BURNT SIENNA TRANCE BGM4 :
