Ep 249 “The Great Man Card Inflation Crisis” – National Gun Violence Awareness Month (Bullet Poof Bulletins) Celebrating the launch of eco-fiction anti-gun novella Bullet Poof and National Gun Violence Awareness Month, Avis Kalfsbeek brings back beloved Kitty O'Compost with the Bullet Poof Bulletins. Tonight on the Spoke-Easy stage, Kitty O'Compost takes aim at the toxic marketing engine of Bush-Mastery Masculinity. This bulletin satirizes the corporate emergency of "Man Card" devaluation, exposing how the defense industry commodifies identity and targets consumer insecurities to sell high-capacity weapons. Inspired by the Melt Zone themes of Bullet Poof, this episode tears down the synthetic identity offered by corporate branding and points us back to the real strength found in collaborative, grassroots community spaces. Resources: Bullet Poof is a hopeful eco-fiction novella about what happens when ordinary people refuse to accept the gun status quo. The Rizzuto Show returns with another completely normal and absolutely stable morning of chaos, confusion, and deeply unnecessary debates. Which means, naturally, things immediately spiral into Roman numeral panic, celebrity rankings, aquarium slander, and a conversation about hot M&M mascots that nobody involved could explain afterward. This episode kicks off with the crew diving into THE BOYS confusion spiral, where Rafe tries to figure out whether the show still makes sense, if the spin-offs matter, and whether TV writers are now legally required to create seventeen timelines for every series. Meanwhile, Riz admits he checked out seasons ago, Moon questions everything, and everyone collectively agrees Homelander might be one of the creepiest TV villains ever created. Then it's time for Match Up With The Morons, where Moon and Learn battle through trivia questions that somehow become emotionally exhausting for everyone listening. The questions seem simple enough at first: first CGI movie, fireworks origins, Roman numerals, pesto ingredients. Easy, right? Wrong. Very wrong. What follows is one of the funniest mental spirals in recent show history as Learn attempts to reason her way through Roman numerals using centuries, millenniums, Charlie XCX, and pure panic. Meanwhile, Moon accidentally reverse-engineers the correct pesto answer while openly admitting he has no idea what herbs are. Honestly? Educational programming at its finest.Elsewhere in the episode, the crew debates whether they're cool now compared to high school, which quickly turns into a surprisingly aggressive discussion about celebrity cool rankings. Samuel L. Jackson gets crowned as one of the coolest humans alive, while Ryan Reynolds catches multiple stray shots for allegedly giving off “annoying rich guy” energy. The gang also debates Matthew McConaughey road trips, Willie Nelson coolness levels, and why some celebrities feel more “beloved” than actually cool. And because this is a daily comedy show built entirely on side quests, the conversation somehow detours into old-school album artwork nostalgia. The crew reminisces about sitting with headphones on, reading CD liner notes like sacred texts, and obsessing over album covers from Guns N' Roses, Green Day, Nirvana, Pearl Jam, and more. If you grew up staring at CD booklets instead of doom-scrolling, this segment will punch you directly in the feelings. Then comes one of the biggest comedy moments of the episode: Rafe's brutally honest review of the St. Louis Aquarium experience. What begins as a harmless tourist outing slowly evolves into a full investigative report involving fake train rides narrated by John Goodman, overpriced tickets, underworked fish, overworked otters, terrifying ropes courses, and a family meltdown happening live above Union Station. The otters, according to Rafe, are carrying the entire business on their tiny furry backs. The crew also tackles:The rarest M&M colorWhy pesto sauce feels suspiciously fancyWhether guns and brunch are a real thingWhy ropes courses are secretly psychological warfareThe emotional damage caused by trivia pressureWhy everyone suddenly misses CD bookletsAquarium economics nobody asked forCelebrity weirdness and rich people energySt. Louis chaos as alwaysIf you're looking for a funny podcast full of sarcastic humor, comedy talk, weird stories, celebrity gossip, nostalgic nonsense, and daily comedy chaos, this episode delivers all of it with absolutely zero structure and somehow even less dignity. The Rizzuto Show continues proving every single day that a comedy podcast does not need focus, organization, or basic emotional regulation to be entertaining. Sometimes all you need is a microphone, some trivia questions, and a complete inability to stay on topic.Subscribe for more daily comedy, entertainment gossip, hilarious fails, pop culture commentary, and unfiltered St. Louis morning show nonsense from The Rizzuto Show.Follow The Rizzuto Show → https://linktr.ee/rizzshow for more from your favorite daily comedy show.Connect with The Rizzuto Show Comedy Podcast online → https://1057thepoint.com/RizzShow.Hear The Rizz Show daily on the radio at 105.7 The Point | Hubbard Radio in St. Louis, MO.Off-duty cop rescues girl trapped inside claw machineWho Americans think is coolSee Privacy Policy at https://art19.com/privacy and California Privacy Notice at https://art19.com/privacy#do-not-sell-my-info.

We kick off this episode with an in-depth review of the 2025 Lexus RX 350 F Sport, a luxury midsize SUV that blends sporty design elements with Lexus' signature comfort. Host Jack Nerad crossed the Red River to test the RX on a road trip from Dallas to Broken Bow, Oklahoma, and came away impressed. The F Sport trim brings sharper exterior styling, a 2.4-liter turbocharged engine, and adaptive variable suspension. It doesn't quite deliver a full-blown performance experience, but it does allow you to keep your Man Card. Inside, the RX maintains Lexus' high standards for quietness and comfort, with a 14-inch touchscreen, premium materials, and comprehensive safety tech. For those who want a slightly sportier Lexus without sacrificing daily drivability, Jack says the F Sport trim offers just enough edge. We'll have a full report. 2025 Nissan Frontier: Smarter Tech, Sharper Looks, Same Rugged Attitude Co-host Chris Teague reviews the refreshed 2025 Nissan Frontier PRO-4X, a midsize pickup that doubles down on its rugged personality with updated styling, enhanced utility, and smarter tech. New exterior elements like a revised grille, front fascia, and Afterburn Orange paint make the PRO-4X stand out from the crowd. Under the hood, the 3.8-liter V6 delivers 310 horsepower and 281 lb-ft of torque. It's paired with a nine-speed automatic transmission, and the Pro-4X trim also offers Bilstein shocks, all-terrain tires, red tow hooks, and an improved Intelligent Around View Monitor that now functions up to 12 mph in off-road mode. With a boosted maximum tow rating of 7,150 pounds and a larger available 12.3-inch infotainment screen with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, the 2025 Frontier blends brains and brawn. Should it be your go-to in the segment? Chris and Jack will offer their opinion. 2025 Toyota 4Runner TRD Pro: A Tougher, Smarter Redesign Our road test extravaganza continues with a review of the 2025 Toyota 4Runner TRD Pro, the first full redesign of this iconic SUV in over a decade. Built for serious off-roaders, the TRD Pro now features a 2.4-liter hybrid powertrain producing 326 horsepower and a massive 465 lb-ft of torque. The upgrade improves fuel economy by over 20%, while also enhancing trail performance and towing capability. The cabin gets a much-needed tech overhaul, with a 14-inch touchscreen, 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, and improved ergonomics. Although pricey at over $73,000, the 4Runner TRD Pro delivers on Toyota's reputation for durability and adds new levels of refinement to its legendary capability. But is $73K just too much? 2026 Toyota Grand Highlander: Big Comfort Meets Big Power If the 4Runner TRD Pro is too rich for your wallet, you might prioritize family transport with the 2026 Toyota Grand Highlander Platinum, the top-tier version of Toyota's three-row SUV. In Hybrid MAX form, it delivers a punchy 362 horsepower from a turbocharged hybrid system while still offering an EPA-estimated 27 mpg combined. Premium features include Ultrasuede seats, a panoramic moonroof, and a full suite of technology, including a 12.3-inch touchscreen, digital rearview mirror, and seven USB-C ports. With second-row captain's chairs and AWD versatility, the Grand Highlander aims to be both a luxury family hauler and a road-trip-ready powerhouse. This Week's Top News Stories Ram Brings Back the HEMI Ram is resurrecting its 5.7-liter HEMI V8 with eTorque mild-hybrid tech for the 2026 Ram 1500 lineup. Over 10,000 orders were placed within 24 hours of the announcement, and the first units are already shipping to dealers. Living a life of purpose in Christ requires rejecting both toxic competition and spiritual apathy. True Christian living demands a relentless pursuit of knowing Christ deeply and making Him known to others. This pursuit involves constant growth, unwavering focus, and willingness to sacrifice comfort. By evaluating priorities and identifying areas of complacency, believers can refocus on God's purpose and demonstrate authentic commitment to spiritual growth.
Real love requires supernatural strength and goes far beyond superficial expressions of affection. Drawing from Ephesians 5, true love manifests through submission, service, and sacrifice - qualities that demonstrate authentic strength rather than weakness. Real men earn respect through compassion and service rather than demanding it through force. This kind of love involves genuine connection, recognizing others' God-given value, and willingly sacrificing personal comfort for others' needs.
Discover the transformative power of authentic Christian manhood and how it differs from cultural stereotypes. Learn about the three essential qualities that define genuine masculine leadership: selflessness, humility, and love-driven service. Understand why many men struggle with authentic masculinity and how Jesus Christ provides the perfect model for true manhood. Explore practical ways to break free from the cycle of competition and status-seeking to embrace a more fulfilling approach to masculinity. This message delves into the contrast between surface-level masculinity and genuine Christian manhood, offering practical steps for personal growth and spiritual development.
