Those who wait to deserve will never be worthy. The goalposts always move, because the system was built to keep moving them. Charlie and Brian walk into Yesod, the Sephiroth of foundation, and find the rhythm beneath every real community: gracious giving, gracious receiving, and the covenant that holds when contract fails. Stories from Berkeley, from the inflatable frog in Portland, from the dry aquifers of the Bible Belt, and from the strange company of holy rascals who refuse to wait for permission to live. Some people pray to a God they no longer believe in because they have not yet found language for the God they do. Creation's Paths: A Creation Spirituality Primer is that language, grown from twenty years of walking the Four Paths..Creation's Paths is a Christopagan Creation Spirituality community rooted in the conviction that creation is original blessing, not original sin. Each week carries its own energy, its own map. This week, we cross into Parshat Bamidbar.Bamidbar means desert. A place where nothing grows. And yet the same word holds the root of daber, speech. The Torah is teaching us that the deepest speech rises from a vessel that is empty. We are inside the Yesod week of the Omer, moving from Tiferet sheb'Yesod toward the union of Yesod and Malchut, the masculine and feminine energies coming together as we move toward Sinai. Yosef HaTzadik is the archetype of Yesod, the inner control that becomes true expression. The Bris and the Pe, sealed by the same gematria. In the sky, Mercury enters Taurus, asking the mind to be grounded in the body. On Shabbat, Mercury meets the heart of the Sun, a cazimi, a clean reset in the way we perceive, communicate, and speak our truth. Chiron is in the same window, holding the long arc of healing in how we live what we know.Iyar is Ani Hashem Rofecha. The healing is real this week.To map your own soul, your own week, your own next move, find Soul Mapping at livekabbalah.com/soul-mapping.

This dvar Torah continues a series mapping the sefirot/middot through a Gemara in Berachot, focusing on **יסוד** as the “hidden” middah embedded in the phrase **“כִּי כֹל בַּשָּׁמַיִם וּבָאָרֶץ”**. It develops Yesod as the power of **hashpa'ah and kabbalah** (influence and receptivity), the discipline of **discernment** (channeling energy only where it belongs), and the stance of **faithfulness to one's source**—modeled by Yosef. The outline ties these themes to **Milchemet Sisera** (where the heavens and earth interact), to the Yamim Nora'im as “shamayim/aretz,” and to **Tu BiShvat** via the **olive/oil** as the seventh-species symbol of Yesod. As we step into the week of Yesod, we move from the inner emotional world into the place where everything becomes real, where feelings turn into connection, and potential becomes relationship. In this class, Rabbi Yisroel Bernath explores Yesod not just as a mystical concept, but as the very foundation of how we bond with others, with ourselves, and with G-d.Drawing on teachings from Kabbalah and Chassidus we uncover the deeper meaning of authentic connection, what it means to show up fully, to be emotionally present, and to build relationships rooted in truth rather than fear. This is not just about connection, it's about becoming someone who can be trusted with connection. Because Yesod asks one powerful question: Are you relating… or are you just reacting?Key Points & Takeaways:Yesod is the bridge between emotion and expression, it's where everything you feel becomes how you connect.True connection is not intensity, it's consistency.Healthy Yesod means being present, honest, and emotionally available without losing yourself.Distorted Yesod shows up as people-pleasing, emotional dependency, or confusing attention for connection.Real intimacy requires vulnerability, but also boundaries.Trust is built not in big moments, but in small, repeated acts of alignment. The goal is not just to feel deeply, but to connect truthfully. You don't need to perform connection. You need to embody it.#Kabbalah #chassidus #chassidut #SefiratHaOmer #Sefirah #sefirot #yesod #JewishWisdom #EmotionalConnection  #Authenticity  #HealthyRelationships  #spiritualgrowth #InnerWork #Connection #Trust  #Vulnerability  #Consistency A Brand-New Four Part Kabbalah Series - Turning Walls into DoorwaysHow to Transform Life's Obstacles into the Path to Your Greatest GrowthWhy do we keep hitting the same emotional walls? Reb Nachman teaches that the yetzer hara is the "old, foolish king" who has thousands of years of practice waiting for our moments of inspiration — and Hashem's answer is Sefiras HaOmer: forty-nine days of counting our victories, including the days we fell.In this shiur we walk through:How Hashem pulled Klal Yisrael out of Mitzrayim shelo k'seder — straight from the 49th level of tumah to seeing the Eibershter at Krias Yam Suf — on the strength of pure emunah in the tzaddik.Tonight's sefirah, Yesod sheb'Netzach: the foundation of everlasting victories. Netzach = gematria 148 = Nachman. "Nitzachti v'anatzayach."Why a fall day still counts as a sober day — and what it means to be "an expert in climbing and an expert in falling."Reb Nosson's reading of Lag BaOmer: gal spelled backwards is lag. The Gal Ed between Yaakov and Lavan haRami is the wall we build after thirty-three days of victories — the wall between us and the inner Lavan who whispers, "It's okay, it's okay."Reb Shimon bar Yochai's promise: pnimiyus haTorah will save Klal Yisrael. The mitzvos aren't six hundred and thirteen rules — they are eitzos, six hundred and thirteen pieces of advice, the soul of the Torah. And Reb Shimon's gift: even if you didn't count a single day, start now. Seventeen days remain — and tov = 17.A shiur about victories, falls, the mountain we build at Lag BaOmer, and the tzaddik who sees the pintele Yid in every Jew.#LagBaOmer #SefirasHaOmer #RebNachman #RebShimonBarYochai #Breslov #PnimiyusHaTorah

This shiur explores the inner mechanics of teshuvah in Torah 29:2 (para 4-5) not as fragmented efforts of repentance, but as systemic repair through the structure of the sefiros, the power of speech, and Shmiras HaBris.Rav Nachman explains that aveiros disrupt the spiritual relationship between mashpia and mekabel - between Yesod and Malchus. Trying to fix each failure individually is not only overwhelming, it's ultimately ineffective. Instead, we're taught the concept of Tikkun Klali: a root-level realignment that restores order above and below. We examine how this root repair, through praising tzadikim, guarding the bris, and drawing down lavnunit (purity) from Chochmah, transforms disconnection (dam niddah) into nurturing flow. The result is more than personal healing—it reopens the channel for shefa and parnassah to enter the world. At its core, the shiur reveals a spiritual architecture for teshuvah that connects the mystical system to lived avodah. Send us comments, suggestions and ideas here! In this week's show we explore the first thirteen lines from Liber ARARITA and explore each one's corresponding sephirah on the Tree of Life, discussing its corresponding planetary god from the Greek and Roman tradition along with a profile of the angelic archangel who rules over each station. This chapter corresponds to the “Good” side of the Tree of Life and explains it in fairly classical, straight-forward terms. On the free side of the show we make it all the way from Kether to Gevurah but discover that we've run out of time and resume our discussion of Tiphareth through Malkuth during the paid section of the show which includes a rousing discussion about Jacob and his battle with the angel we suspect to be Kamael. Yesod becomes practical through action, bris milah as covenantal alignment, business and marriage as arenas to root values, and daily mitzvos as the pipeline that carries blessing into the world. Do you have commitment issues? These days that phrase has become almost a cliché. A convenient excuse. You hear it all the time—serial daters saying, “We're together, but don't expect a commitment. I have... commitment issues.”For some, commitment feels like a burden. Like a noose around the neck. “Why tie myself down?” they say. “I need an exit strategy. I want to keep the back door open.”I once met a guy who told me—proudly—that he had finally achieved what he called a “relationship milestone.” He said, “I've figured out how to be with my girlfriend... without being committed to her.” I asked, “Does she know that?” “Not yet,” he said, smiling. We've come to see commitment as a liability, when in truth, it's one of the greatest gifts we can experience. Commitment is not just a moral obligation—it's what gives life weight and meaning. It means that something—or someone—is no longer optional. It matters. It shapes who we are. Please join Rabbi Simon Jacobson to explore the sefirah of Yesod and delve deeply into commitment and connection, and how vital they are to living the healthiest possible life.

NA'ALEH YOGA: Nidra Journeys for Deep Rest+ Close Your Eyes and Stay Awake... This yoga nidra explores the Kabbalistic emanation of Yesod, a spiritual bridge connecting the seen and unseen. Yesod serves as a meeting place where the energies of higher sefirot (emanations) of lovingkindness, inner strength, balance, endurance, and gratitude converge from abstract origins into physical form. This practice invites you to align your thoughts, feelings, and actions, allowing you to trust in the unseen and create from a place of clarity and connection. As you delve into this meditative practice, you are encouraged to let go of efforts and agendas, thereby weaving your experiences into a state of wholeness. By entering the fluid state between sleep and wakefulness, cognitive restraints ease and deeper awareness unfolds, providing a fertile ground for healing and creativity.  By fostering a deep sense of grounding and presence through progressive relaxation, breath awareness, body scanning, and vivid visualization, this Jewish-rooted Yoga Nidra practice serves to cultivate your inner strength and potential.   Episode Summary: Here's what you can expect: Preparation: Begin by settling into a comfortable position. Intention Setting: You will be guided to set a powerful Sankalpa/kavanah (intention) for this practice. Choose a meaningful, positive "I am..." statement that resonates with your heart, body, and soul. Rotation of Consciousness: Experience a thorough body scan anchored in the theme of Hod as you transition your consciousness into a state of deep healing rest.  Breath Awareness: Practice guided breathwork embodying the essence of Yesod Visualization:  Experience the grounding of Yesod through a therapeutic guided visualization in a state of the deepest rest.  Return to Your Intention: Reconnect with the intention you set earlier. This week we explore the depths of Kabbalah, unique self, and Eros with renowned philosopher Marc Gafni. He begins by defining the foundational concepts of Kabbalah, setting the stage for an exploration of the interplay between masculine and feminine energies that shape our reality. He introduces the profound symbol of the Tree of Life and its relevance to personal mastery. As he describes each piece of the 11 stories in the Tree of Life, the discussion unfolds to encompass the realms of imagination, understanding, and the balance between love and boundaries, highlighting the beauty of contradictions and the coexistence of joy amidst life's challenges. He then describes the concept of unique self, an understanding of self that transcends the misconceptions of both Western and Eastern traditions. As the episode progresses, we delve into how Eros can serve as a portal to deepening intimacy, and ultimately heal our disconnected world.
