I remember walking into a small gym in Waterbury, CT in September of 2005. I look over to the far court and see this athletic freak grabbing every rebound and tap dunking ever offensive rebound! Come to find out this freak of nature would be my teammate for the next year and a half! This outstanding hooper brings his roots from Nigeria but was raised in Uniondale, NY. As an early hooper playing against the Long Island competition, this high flyer quickly made a name for himself by bringing energy, enthusiasm, and DUNKING everything! While hooping at Uniondale High School, his name started to ring bells around the city! After a stellar high school career, this 6'6 stud garnered a D2 scholarship to play at Post University in Waterbury, CT! Stepping on the campus of Post University in the fall of 2004 the CACC(Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference) was put on notice quickly that Post University added an athletic, above the rim player that is an exceptional rebounder! A 3 year starter, as a senior he averaged 15 points and 14 rebounds a game while leading his team to the City Championship in 2004 where they faced the highly touted Abraham Lincoln High School in Madison Square Garden! He was named Queens Player Of The Year and 2nd team All-City! A quick stop at Northfield Mt. Hermon Prep School where he was ranked on the national prep player Top-75 list, he went on to garner a Division 1 scholarship to play at Loyola College in Maryland! Things didn't quite work out there so this outstanding hooper transferred back home to Adelphi University where he shined and was a key component to that team for the next 3 seasons! Her senior season capped off a great career as she was named team MVP 3 years in a row(2009, 2010, 2011) and named All-State back to back years(2010 and 2011). Before starting her division 1 journey, this baller made a stop at powerhouse JUCO Blinn College where she averaged 12 points and 3 rebounds! This relentless hooper went on to garner a division 1 scholarship to attend her hometown Texas Southern University where she shined being named SWAC Player of the Year and All-SWAC 1st Team in 2014!
