Matt Goodrich, principal of his New York-based design studio Goodrich, has cultivated an approach that is rooted in collaboration, curiosity, and pursuing the unexpected. With a career that spans more than two decades, including stints at Rockwell Group and AvroKO, Goodrich's perspective champions the art of storytelling.Since founding his eponymous firm in 2017, Goodrich, who was recently named Boutique Design's 2024 Designer of the Year, has leaned into projects that push boundaries, taking on challenges that stretch the team's capabilities, from Ci Siamo, his collaboration with restaurateur Danny Meyer to the UBS Arena in Elmont, New York. The latter, home to the New York Islanders hockey team, challenged the studio, which had little prior experience in either live entertainment or sports venues, to create a unique, hospitality-driven project. It became a defining moment for the firm, reinforcing Goodrich's ethos: learning by doing and embracing the unfamiliar to create something extraordinary.Thank you for listening! The Pastor of the Elmont, NY assembly delivered a sober entreat to the saints of God gathered to celebrate Thanksgiving. He reminded us we live in a society that rejects the laws and morality of Almighty God. The fact that we seek to worship God in Spirit and truth sets us apart from the ungodly majority and apostate religion. While acknowledging that we live in a world that requires economic and social interaction, we must choose to lay up treasures in heaven for ourselves, where neither moth nor rust destroys and where thieves do not break in and steal. Our future is not in this present world but in the Kingdom of God.

God blessed our Mississauga Assembly with two remarkable men of God who share their testimonies with us. Brother GITHINJII pastors the church in Ellington, Connecticut. Brother Nairn RICHARD pastors Elmont, NY Assembly. A central theme of their addresses was Psalm 34:19: "Many hardships and perplexing circumstances confront the righteous, but the LORD rescues {delivers} him from them all" (AMP). We live in perilous times. Our faith is tested as never before, but "Whosoever heareth these sayings {teachings and instructions} of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock." The storms of life will batter us, but our house shall stand because we have built our foundation on the Rock of Christ's truth and Spirit.

It was a joy to have Brother Singh back in the Mississauga Assembly after his whirlwind trip to visit churches in Roselle, New Jersey, Westbury, and Elmont, New York. Despite medical advice against travel, the man of God felt it was necessary to visit these churches to "fortify their faith." We thank God he returned to us not only healthy but invigorated spiritually.

While speaking to the saints in Brother Richard's Assembly, Brother Singh explained his ministry was more prophetic than pastoral. By prophetic, he does not mean visions of the future, but instead, he exposes hypocrisy and weaknesses to help lead saints to light. Occasionally, his statements seem to contradict his fellow ministers. Probably, some are offended, but he has never had to apologize for anything the Lord led him to say from the pulpit. Ministers will not immediately accept some of his concepts, but he is confident that God will enlighten those men to see as he does in time.

Draws against Wales and England were followed by a 1-0 win over Iran that assured a spot in the knockout rounds, and the U.S. achieved the minimum to avoid being branded a failure. Communicating with Brother Richard's congregation in Westbury, Brother Singh sought to share information necessary to better live for God. The Bible is thick because God's people were constantly in rebellion. So the prophets recorded the messages God sent via them to warn His people to return to obedience and reverence before severe judgment would reign down upon them. Despite Israel's meticulous commitment to religious practice, God was not pleased with their efforts. Their motives for serving Him were more self-serving than devotion spawned from love. Realizing how God saw His people is helpful for our self-examination.

Our Pastor loves his Bible, yet he admits that he needs much more than the scriptures. "It is the Spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, {Jesus said} they are Spirit, and they are life" (John 6:63). The Israelite children were delivered physically from Egypt, yet the spirit of Egypt remained in their hearts. By contrast, the body of Christ today continues to live in spiritual Egypt, also referred to biblically as the world. So, we examine ourselves to determine what percentage of our life is committed to Christ. Or how much of it clings to the world. We are not in church to learn religion—instead, it is to change our life!

Fontana was born in Brooklyn, New York, in the United States. Her parents were working class Italian-Americans from Brooklyn's Bedford Stuyvesant slums. Fontana spent her childhood in the 1960s a few blocks from the childhood home of writer Arthur Miller, in the predominantly Italian and Jewish neighbourhood of the part of Brooklyn bordering Midwood and Bensonhurst. It was here in 1968 that she developed an interest in fashion design after a child modelling try-out in a Lexington Avenue agency in New York City. Castronuova was born and raised in Elmont, New York, with three younger brothers. She began boxing at the age of five in the family garage with her father, a former Marine. She also wrestled in high school and in college. She graduated from Hofstra University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in communications. She began her boxing career as a youth boxing trainer. Soon, she started entering local bouts, winning her first fight in 2002 at the NY Empire State Games in Syracuse. She also was a volunteer for a government-funded program designed to teach troubled youth the virtues of boxing and keep them off the streets. Later, while working as a personal fitness and boxing trainer at popular sports clubs in the New York City area, like Chelsea Piers and Gleason's Boxing Gym, she used fighting and boxing to encourage clients to “find their warrior within.” While continuing to train clients, Castronuova kept boxing competitively, winning a pair of “Silver Gloves” in 2004, the second-place prize in the Golden Gloves competition. Determined to redeem herself, Castronuova came back one year later and won her first New York Golden Gloves championship at Madison Square Garden in 2005 in front of a televised, capacity crowd.
