El 22 de junio de 1941, los alemanes dieron comienzo a la Operación Barbarroja, que tenía como objetivo la derrota de la Unión Soviética en apenas unas semanas. Tras grandes victorias iniciales en la que se capturó a cientos de miles de prisioneros, los alemanes comprobaron que el Ejército Rojo seguía estableciendo nuevas líneas defensivas en la retaguardia. Esto hizo que los alemanes fuesen perdiendo impulso de forma progresiva, hasta que tuvieron que detenerse en Smolensko. Fue aquí cuando se tomo una de las decisiones más importantes de toda la operación, al dividir al Grupo de Ejércitos Centro para que fuesen a apoyar el avance de sus flancos. Finalmente tras tomar Kiev, los alemanes volvieron a reorganizarse y lanzaron su carga final sobre Moscú. La Conferencia del Episcopado lidera hoy a decenas de entidades que han salido a respaldar el Censo que inicia mañana. La iniciativa obviamente es respalda por el sector empresarial porque es mejor meter su dinero en un lugar conocido que a ciegas. El respaldo casi unánime a las jornadas censales horas después de que el ya candidato presidencial del PLD Abel Martínez cuestionara el censo, en una deplorable rueda de prensa, es un indicador de lo perdido que anda el liderazgo morado. Martínez y el PLD en vez de generar una iniciativa propia se sumaron a los vinchos y los han pateado. La falta de discurso propio es terrible cuando se planea la comunicación pero es fatal en la vida política. La permanencia del PLD 20 años en el poder más que por discurso o programa por la división de la oposición y por el uso indiscriminado de recursos públicos ha saldado con un alto nivel de torpeza política. La foto de la rueda de prensa de ayer es un poema. Usted identifica a cada uno de los actores y no puede dejar de pensar cual es la calificación política de esta gente que se plantea una acción de boicot a un censo. En Sin Maquillaje dijimos que Abel ganaría la consulta peledeísta porque le respaldaban los círculos danilistas y porque le sobraba el dinero pero lo que es suficiente para ganar una candidatura presidencial no lo es para por lo menos situarla en el imaginario popular. Esta tarde se espera el anuncio de la renuncia de Julio César Valentín y junto a él Antonio Peña Mirabal ex ministro de educación y cuatro alcaldes de la provincia Santiago que no dicen para donde pero se van. La pifia de ayer en un intento de liderar a los ultranacionalistas y el golpe que se espera hoy no son un record pero si un average negativo considerable para la soberbia abelista. Si se confirma la salida de Valentín en unas horas nadie puede negar que se trata de un dirigente. El ex fiscal, ex diputado y ex senador no pasó por esos espacios sin crear una estructura propia por mínima que sea. El hecho de que lo acompañen alcaldes de varias demarcaciones de su provincia indica que Abel no es bien llevado porque quienes se van son los más cercanos y en el momento en que desesperadamente debe sumar Abel empieza a restar. El rumor dice que Francisco Domínguez Brito tampoco está conforme pero aqui no adivinamos y vamos a esperar.

El último gran caso de corrupción de la administración Medina todavía no ha llegado a los tribunales pero desde ya se advierte que cuando se acabaron todas las formas de corrupción y explotación de negocios con el estado buscaron en los archivos a ver qué quedaba y entre otras cosas quedaban las deudas por los parques nacionales algunas pendientes desde hace 50 años. He identificado a por lo menos dos beneficiarios que fueron sorprendidos cuando les contactaron para informarles que el estado dominicano pagaría la vieja deuda por la expropiación de terrenos para la declaración del parque del Este, hoy Cotubanamá, que data de 1975, cuando ni Miolán soñaba con los turistas y mucho menos que el principal desarrollo turístico del país estaría alrededor de esa área protegida que incluye la isla Saona. Cuando llamaron a esas personas el esquema estaba montado. Esos propietarios originales resignados a perderlo todo, vieron la luz cuando fueron contactados para decirle que recuperarían algo por el valor de sus tierras aunque la paca se quedaba en manos del entramado mafioso que había diseñado el esquema de la cesión de crédito. Es evidente que quedaba poco por robar cuando se hizo ese esfuerzo. Ayer les citaba al profesor Leo Valeirón cuando llamaba la atención sobre el negocio alrededor del 4% por ciento por la educación. El académico llama la atención sobre el hecho de que siendo la educación la gran necesidad nacional, la administración Medina y los compañeros del pld se ocuparon de que la mayor parte del presupuesto fuera a negocios, desde solares hasta mochila. Carlos Amarante Baret, Antonio Peña Mirabal y Andrés Navarro no tenían nada que ver con el mundo de la educación fueron a ese puesto a gerenciar recursos. No tengo que decir que dos aspiraron a la presidencia de la República. No ha mejorado la educación pero si se han hecho grandes negocios y los escándalos alrededor de ese esquema se llevaron a Fulcar. Alexis Medina llevará a partir de hoy un brazalete electrónico suplido por una empresa que intentó desplazar en sus andanzas de pulpo. El hermano del ex presidente Danilo Medina creó más de 20 empresas para suplir cuanto tipo de necesidades y negocios se podían hacer con el estado desde venta de combustibles hasta mobiliario médico. Alexis Medina Sánchez era por tanto el más importante suplidor del Estado pero no era el único que operaba con ese esquema. Otros con menor posibilidad de influir hacían lo mismo en menores dimensiones. En el cuerpo especializado de seguridad presidencial crearon un esquema de robo a través de la nómina y resultan increíbles los montos que se manejaron con un método tan simple. Por ahí anda la investigación del caso del asfalto caliente en que se contrató un asfaltado por el que pagamos miles de millones de pesos y cuyo contrato no especificaba ni las áreas a asfaltar, ni los lugares beneficiados y mucho menos las calidades técnicas de ese asfaltado. En algunos casos los esquemas de corrupción se pasaron como en la OMSA y pregunten a Argenis Contreras por eso. Nos acostumbraron a números tan grandes que las auditorias a la Cámara de Diputados y a Indotel donde apenas se habla de 200 millones de pesos apenas salen en la prensa. Lo bueno del caso es que no importa la creatividad usada hay gente que sabe encontrarla. Salve Ministerio Público. Gracias por estar y por darnos la oportunidad de recoger tanta basura humana.
