Jayce and I discuss the news of a sequel to the 2021 Mortal Kombat film in the works from Warner Bros. We also discuss our slight concern about the Uncharted movie, this week's episode of The Book of Boba Fett and the exciting team-up of The Rock and Chris Evans for Red One.

Jayce and I discuss the last episode of The Book of Boba Fett, which once again had very little of the title character and a major focus on furthering subplots from The Mandalorian. And we geek out over the big cameos and huge debut before considering how challenging it really would be for Disney to make an Heir to the Empire live-action trilogy.

With The Batman director Matt Reeves wanting more of a realistic, gritty take on Batman, Jayce and I consider what viable options are actually on the table for the sequel he's currently planning. After Spider-Man: No Way Home's sucess, Jayce and I consider if there's any other possible comic book film that could equal its success. The Marvel Netflix shows are potentially heading to Disney+, but Jayce has some concerns.

Jayce and I are joined by our cousin, Duane, the biggest Batman fan that we know to discuss The Batman in a spoiler-filled conversation as we consider if Matt Reeves' take is the best Batman film so far.
