IPs are everything. Und will Michael Jackson return in Avengers Doomsday?

Kirk returns to judge an all-new cinema showdown between Ryan and Dylan. This time it's a fight over the best musical biopic: Bohemian Rhapsody or Elvis.

Send us Fan MailSome music stories refuse to die, not because they're true, but because they're irresistible. We go myth-hunting through rock and pop's greatest legends: Paul Is Dead, Elvis is alive, “Eric Clapton is God,” Ozzy's onstage infamy, and the backward-masking panic that turned Stairway to Heaven into a courtroom rumor mill. Along the way, we talk about why a single detail like a missing shoe or a misspelled name can become “evidence,” and how the internet helps conspiracies spread faster than the truth. Then we flip the record and jump into music biopics. With the Michael Jackson movie landing in theaters, we ask why music biography films hit so hard when they're done right. We stack-rank favorites, argue about what holds up, and come back again and again to the movie that sets the modern standard: Bohemian Rhapsody. From there we shout out essentials like La Bamba, Walk the Line, The Doors, Coal Miner's Daughter, and Ray, plus curveballs like 8 Mile, Weird: The Al Yankovic Story, and even Amadeus for the reminder that musical genius and rivalry didn't start with guitars. We also get personal about how these movies and songs land at home, from sharing Queen with the kids to the brutal truth that our podcast might be the world's most effective sleep aid. Listen, laugh, then tell us what we missed: what rock myth do you secretly love, and what's your all-time best music biopic? If you enjoy the show, subscribe, share it with a friend, and leave a review. One idea. Six songs. Infinite possibilities...

Bringing their signature blend of wit and transparency, the sisters sat down with hosts Phillionaire, Claude Kelly and Chuck Harmony of Louis York, and Tamone Bacon to reflect on a career that didn't just top the charts—it redefined the culture. The episode serves as a masterclass in longevity, exploring how two sisters from California managed to keep their faith, their family, and their sound relevant across nearly three decades of industry shifts. The duo takes a nostalgic trip down memory lane, reacting to vintage clips that span from their early movie roles to their most explosive award show performances. Rather than just celebrating the wins, Erica and Tina offer a rare, unfiltered look at the "growing pains" of their journey. They dive into the complexities of their reality TV era, the evolution of their songwriting process, and the lessons learned from being "green" in a business that moves at lightning speed. Fans will be particularly moved by their candor regarding the personal hurdles they faced while trying to maintain their bond under the glare of the spotlight. If you're looking for the latest movie news, box office analysis, franchise updates, and industry breakdowns, today's Kristian Harloff Show has you covered. Kristian breaks down what the box office numbers mean for Jaafar Jackson, Antoine Fuqua, and the future of musical biopics in Hollywood. Next, Daredevil: Born Again is making headlines for the wrong reasons. Despite major anticipation from Marvel fans, new reports suggest Daredevil: Born Again has not delivered the ratings Marvel Studios may have hoped for. With both Jackie Chan and Chris Tucker aging out of the demanding action-comedy franchise, is Rush Hour 4 still realistic? Kristian discusses whether the sequel can still happen and if the moment has already passed for one of the most beloved buddy-cop franchises ever. Finally, the John Wick universe keeps expanding. Caine, the Donnie Yen-led John Wick spinoff, has officially started filming, while new reports reveal that the idea for John Wick 5 is already in motion. Kristian breaks down what this means for Donnie Yen's future in the franchise, whether Keanu Reeves could return, and how far Lionsgate can realistically push the John Wick universe.
