Welcome to Capricorn Season & Happy Solstice! We wrap up 2022 in review mode and ease into 2023 in the same way. It's time to assess where we are and where we want to go in the next year and in the future. I share all the astrology along with my insights, guidance and tips for how to use this season to set yourself up for success. Here is a quick breakdown of what I go into in this episode: Jupiter is back in Aries to re-energize us and inspiring courage and strength to get moving on some things that spirit has called up from deep within this year. However, slow and steady Capricorn and Mercury retrograde here this season will hold us back a bit to ensure we are in the best physical, mental, emotional and financial shape and properly prepared to manage all our goals and desires for the next year. The Capricorn New Moon on Dec. 23rd conjunct Hygeia, the Goddess of good health, reminds us that without our health we have nothing. Because without it we will not have the necessary vitality or endurance to live, much less get where we really want to go. So check in, get those checkups and start building a responsible and reliable plan for maintaining a wellness practice that works best for you. This will also ensure you can be your best in your work and for everyone else in your life. Mercury's station Retrograde and conjunction to the Capricorn Sun for our Cancer Full Moon on Jan. 6th will bring this reminder home. Building new foundations and structures for nurturing both our own needs and the needs of our families, loved ones and closes confidants will be the true life lines for getting us thought any challenges the next year may bring. A Grand Air Trine between Venus in Aquarius, Mars Rx in Gemini and Ceres the Goddess of nurturing and parental relationships helps inspire smart actions or inaction, and decisions or choices for making sure best accommodations are made for the well being of all. Mars and Mercury shifting direct on Jan. 12th and 18th respectively will be the final moments of evaluation before 2023 can officially begin. You can make plans, but do yourself a favor and have plan A, B, C and maybe D or more, so when new info comes in or circumstances change you can pivot with ease, not miss a step and still reach your goals in the way that is ultimately for you highest good. Move though the next season consciously, slowly and with trust that you are right where you are supposed to be on your life path and that the journey will unfold just as it is meant to in divine timing. Saturn in Pisces and building a spiritual practice will be the work of 2023 that will truly carry us to our greatest, most authentic success in the world. Happy Sagittarius Season friends! We get a much needed and welcomed uplifting boost of positivity with this new energy! Sagittarius season can bring opportunities to take goals and passions to next levels, attract more blessings, deepen our beliefs, widen our world views and broaden horizons for future growth. It's also a great time to show gratitude for what we have as well as give generously to support others. But remember this go-big-or-go-home energy can also take us straight over the edge if we are reckless or take on too much, so do keep that in mind.
In this Insightful Interview I talk with the great astrologer and wisdom teacher Rick Levine about how we can consciously approach answering life's biggest questions when our kids are asking and best practices for guiding them on their own discovery journey. This was a wonderful, enlightening, deep and delightful conversation that ran the gambit of exploring many 8th house matters and beyond. Questions about life, death, sex, birth, reincarnation and our connection to all things here and beyond are not often openly or easily discussed. Answering these for ourselves can be a never-ending quest. And knowing where to begin when our young ones curiosities of these subjects arrive is a whole different animal. Rick says the key is in being present, being honest about our own journey and discoveries or beliefs, while leaving plenty of space and freedom to uncover answers for themselves. Scorpio Season is here! It's a spooky eclipse season ripe for radical change and transformation from the inside out. Eclipses are sometimes tough turning points in our lives on both collective and personal levels, but always karmic and timely. And these next two will prove to be powerfully significant and life altering for all. But Venus and Mercury tightly involved means we have choice and that the future will ultimately be what we make of it together! The New Moon Partial Solar Eclipse at 2 Scorpio on Oct. 25th is conjunct Venus, book-ended by the South Node and Mercury and North Node with Uranus Rx opposing. Scorpio co-rulers Mars and Pluto, are both adding input and pressure to this eclipse. It's time to get real with ourselves and with others, and stand up or speak up for what is needed to survive and thrive. Life is too short and fighting to live a free and fulfilling one is worth it. Nov. 8th the Full Moon Total Lunar Eclipse at 16 Taurus has Mercury conjunct the Scorpio Sun opposite the Moon with Uranus Rx and the North Node. Ruler Venus is not a happy girl here. If she is not getting what she wants she will stomp, scream and fight until she does. It may be time make demands where diplomacy hasn't worked. It's time to let go of the past and look to building a new future. But we can't forget to look within and in the mirror to ensure we are being true to ourselves while also respecting the feelings and needs of others too. Along the way, Jupiter Rx steps back into Pisces, Mars stations retrograde in Gemini and the Sun joins the South Node all to help enlighten and help with the healing, awakening and growth process. Welcome to Libra Season! It's time to bring ourselves, our life and relationships into better balance friends! All the astrology energies offer beautiful opportunities and support for us. A Libra New Moon on Sept. 25th ruled by Venus in Virgo and opposite Jupiter Rx in Aries offers a chance to expand our self awareness and ask for more fairness, balance and what we need in our relationships to grow both individually and together. And an Aries Full Moon on Oct. 9th ruled by Mars, conjunct with Chiron Rx in Aries and accompanied by a Grand Earth Trine between Mars, Sun and Saturn Rx helps reflect where healing still needs to happen and where we can connect, communicate and find mutually beneficial solutions to issues that support further individual and partnership growth. We also have several major meet ups and planetary direction shifts to help push us forward on our journey. Sun first meets with Mercury Rx at the beginning of her journey through Libra and ends the season joined by sign ruler Venus.
