In this week between eclipses, recommit to taking a step toward what's important to you. [2:58] The Sun conjoins Neptune on March 19 (4:25 pm PDT) at 29º36' Pisces on the Sabian symbol 30 Pisces, A rock formation like a face is idealized by a boy who, as he grows up, begins to look like it. This transit reminds us that no one has all the answers, and we're responsible for making something of our lives and our world.  [5:35] On March 20 (2:01 am PDT), the Sun enters Aries (through April 19). This marks the vernal equinox in the Northern Hemisphere and the autumnal equinox in the Southern Hemisphere. The Aries Ingress chart is used by astrologers to cast a chart, using the capital of their country, to get a feel for what the upcoming year could look like. (Astrologers Nina Gryphon and Wade Caves were mentioned.) Aries is the opening of the new astrological year and is the sign that's closely associated with all new enterprises. The challenge is to reconcile how to love life and people, even though we know that they're not perfect and will not last forever. Measure the importance of financial matters against the importance of relationships. [11:44] Moon Report! The Capricorn Last Quarter Moon is on March 22 (4:29 am PDT) at 02º05' Capricorn and Aries. Time to complete projects from the Pisces New Moon (Feb. 27). The Moon is on the Sabian symbol 3 Capricorn, The human soul receptive to growth and understanding.  [14:00] Lunar Phase Family Cycle (LPFC). This is the Last Quarter in an LPFC that began with a New Moon at 01º32' Capricorn on Dec. 23, 2022. The First Quarter Moon in this LPFC was on Sep. 22, 2023, and the Full Moon was on June 21, 2024. A dynamic week leads us into the middle of August as the Sun in Leo interacts with Venus retrograde, Chiron RX in Aries, and Uranus in Taurus, igniting new opportunities and unexpected developments as we approach the Leo New Moon on August 16. Let's take a closer look into some of the main astrological events of the month and how you can work with the energies: August 1: Aquarius Super Full Moon The month begins with a healing Full Moon. While the energies of the month hold some intensity, this Full Moon is a gentle, guiding force, revealing to us all that is just no longer a fit for our highest well-being.   August 4: Mercury enters Shadow Phase Mercury will begin slowing down in preparation for its retrograde later in the month. Mercury is the planet of communication; when it enters retrograde, it tends to reveal where we haven't been truly listening.   August 8: Lionsgate 88 Beneficial Portal The Lionsgate Portal honors the rising of Sirius, our Spiritual Sun. As Sirius rises, it is reborn, and we also can feel the rebirth of our own Spirit energy. The Number 8 represents infinite potential, and meditating with the number is believed to activate our DNA. This week we're transitioning from the healing energy of the full moon last week to the huge changes that are about to occur. Scorpio and Eclipse seasons both begin next week. These, together with Mars going retrograde will bring a significant energy shift. The remainder of the year will be intense and full of changes. Think of this week as the calm before the storm. Prepare for what is to come by asking yourself what you need, and then give it to yourself.   Our Sun will be in alignment with the star Arcturus for the next three days. Arcturus is about 25 times bigger than our Sun and will be beaming down on us the energies of prosperity, abundance, and psychic powers. Arcturus is also believed to be home to an advanced alien race that's all about love and compassion.  Venus will line up with the Sun on Saturday, October 22. This is known as the Venus Star Point energy and shifts Venus from a morning star into an evening star. When Venus is a morning star, the love it radiates shines outward, but when Venus becomes an evening star, the love it radiates shines within.
