Kurn. In "Sins of the Father," we're introduced to Kurn, a stern Klingon exchange officer boarding the Enterprise-D to temporarily serve as first officer. We find out in the course of the episode that Kurn is actually Worf's brother and has brought news of a judgment by the Klingon High Council that will change both of their lives forever. Dennis Madalone Interview.   Dennis Madalone was the stunt coordinator for seasons 3 through 7 of The Next Generation and all of Deep Space Nine and Voyager. He also did stunts and played many characters from the first season of The Next Generation all the way to the final season of Voyager. "The Wounded" In the season four The Next Generation episode "The Wounded," we're introduced to the Cardassians, a species that has until recently been at war with the Federation and which will become very important in Deep Space Nine. NX-01 Movie Night: Kung Fu.   Friendship and fellowship is important for people's general health and well-being. All of the Star Trek series have shown some sort of interaction between the members of its crew on screen in varying ways. The Next Generation had poker, Deep Space Nine had Vic's lounge, Voyager had Sandrine's and the resort program, and Enterprise had movie night. Since the invention of home video releases of films, many fans of movies have participated in an event know as "Movie Night!" People gather together in a group, watch a movie, and then discuss the film in a casual conversation.
