Ezekiel 3:20 NKJV: “Again, when a righteous man turns from his righteousness and commits iniquity, and I lay a stumbling block before him, he shall die; because you did not give him warning, he shall die in his sin, and his righteousness which he has done shall not be remembered; but his blood I will require at your hand. GNT: “If someone truly good starts doing evil and I put him in a dangerous situation, he will die if you do not warn him. He will die because of his sins—I will not remember the good he did—and I will hold you responsible for his death.
The Secretary General praised the President, the Ukrainian people, the armed forces and the political leadership for their courage and determination since the beginning of Russia's war. “NATO will continue to stand with you for as long as it takes,” he said. The establishment of the NATO-Ukraine Council is part of a three-part package of support bringing Ukraine closer to NATO. The Council will act as a forum “where Ukraine and NATO Allies will meet as equals, hold crisis consultations, and jointly take decisions,” Mr Stoltenberg said. The package also includes a multi-year programme of assistance to help the Ukrainian armed forces transition from Soviet-era to NATO equipment and standards and become fully interoperable with Allied forces.Allies have also reaffirmed that Ukraine will become a member of NATO and agreed to remove the requirement for a Membership Action Plan. “This will change Ukraine's membership path from a two-step process to a one-step process,” said the Secretary General, adding: “we will issue an invitation for Ukraine to join NATO when Allies agree that conditions are met.” This is “a strong, united message from Allies on your path to NATO membership,” he added. Mr Stoltenberg further stressed the need for “credible arrangements” to be in place to ensure Ukraine's security when the war ends, welcoming the plan of many Allies to commit to providing long-term security assurance to Ukraine. “This will help deter any future aggression from Russia after this war ends,” he said, adding that it complements the support provided by NATO.“The decisions made here in Vilnius mark the beginning of a new chapter in the relationship between NATO and Ukraine. Today, we meet as equals. I look forward to the day we meet as Allies,” Mr Stoltenberg concluded.

According to the Council on Foreign Relations, “the United States imports more from China than from any other country." The total volume of imports in 2022 from China into the U.S. amounted to more than $536 billion, the U.S. Bureau of Economic Analysis reported. The Group of Seven leaders in May issued a statement about "de-risking and diversifying" from China, while also acknowledging that they would not be "decoupling or turning inwards." What does "de-risking" and "diversifying" look like? "Well, I think the imbalance of trade is extremely concerning, particularly when we're talking about a regime that is now credibly accused of a genocide against the Uyghur people. It has totally broken an international treaty in regard to Hong Kong and dismantled completely the promised freedoms and autonomy for Hong Kong," says Benedict Rogers, co-founder and chief executive of Hong Kong Watch.Hong Kong Watch is a "registered charity" based in the United Kingdom that "researches and monitors threats to Hong Kong's basic freedoms, the rule of law and autonomy as promised under the ‘one country, two systems' principle, which is enshrined in the Basic Law and the Sino-British Joint Declaration," according to its website. "And it's committing other very serious atrocity crimes against other groups within China, but also it's complicit with atrocities in other regimes, particularly North Korea and Burma," Rogers says. "And of course, it's increasingly threatening Taiwan. And plus, it's a regime that hid and lied to the world over the virus, which became the COVID-19 global pandemic."Rogers adds: So, to have such a high dependency on that one country for imports I think is a very dangerous situation to be in. And I hope that the United States and other countries as well will diversify, and that means producing more at home, but also investing in other countries that are less risky.Rogers joins today's episode of "The Daily Signal Podcast" to discuss the difference between "de-coupling" and "de-risking and diversifying"; how the U.S. can ethically trade with China; and his book, published late last year, "China Nexus: Thirty Years In and Around the Chinese Communist Party's Tyranny." In this podcast episode, Amir Tsarfati is broadcasting live from Galilee and discussing some of the most pressing issues facing Israel today. He begins by addressing the recent anti-missionary legislation proposed by ultra-orthodox members of parliament, explaining that this bill will fail to come to fruition. Next, Amir sheds light on the motivations behind this legislation, highlighting the political maneuvering of lawmakers seeking to appease their constituents.Moving on, Amir discusses the dangerous situation Israel currently finds itself in, explaining that the country is facing three vectors working against it: the global vector, the regional vector, and the internal vector. The alliance between Russia, China, Saudi Arabia, and Iran is giving Iran legitimacy and acceptance - while its proxies are arming themselves with artillery. This is just one of the many challenges facing Israel on the global front.

Cordray served for six years as the first director of the CFPB, and before joining the bureau, he served as Ohio's Attorney General. In this interview, Cordray explains why he thinks the industry needs to redefine how they look at foreclosures. He does this by sharing lessons from the financial crisis and what the road ahead looks like as the industry figures out how to handle the fact that 8.8% of U.S. mortgages are in forbearance. He also discusses the immediate threats in the foreclosure process.“There's a lot of market pressure right now, and there will continue to be. Everybody's going to be fighting to handle this,” Cordray said in response to what advice he would give lenders and servicers given all the unknowns in the market. “The more friendly you can be toward consumers and the more compliant you can be, the better off you are. But again, there are significant economic pressures that are making that hard,” he said. “In the long run, the industry should insist on reforms,” said Cordray. “Right now, I think it's a very, very dramatic and dangerous situation that many services are in, and we could avoid this in the future, and we should. That's what congressional reforms should look to and should put in place so that we learn from the past, just as we did in the last crisis, we can do it again.”HousingWire articles covered in this episode:[PULSE] How should we think about foreclosures?[PULSE] Does the mortgage industry view foreclosure as a last resort?[PULSE] Will servicers be able to flatten the curve in foreclosures?Former CFPB Director Richard Cordray: Are servicers prepared to provide relief to borrowers?

Can something good be passed on? I am a believer, yes it can. This is a memory of my father and his 1941 Willys Jeep. I had a harrowing experience when I was a small child with my dad, the Jeep and a pair of red canvas sneakers. Wow, the details I can remember from being a small boy, but I can’t remember to close the toilet seat lid. Just ask Alice.
I talk with Breana Whittington, host of the podcast Particularly Dangerous Situation about working for the environment.

Clint Emerson is not your average U.S. Navy retiree. He's not your average anything and he never was. That might be why so many Fortune 500 companies want Emerson to not only speak at their corporate gatherings but also teach them how to survive some extreme circumstances. Emerson is a former Navy SEAL and the author of a number of books, notably "100 Deadly Skills: The SEAL Operative's Guide Eluding Pursuers, Evading Capture, and Surviving Any Dangerous Situation." He also wrote "100 Deadly Skills: Survival Edition" and "Escape the Wolf: Risk Mitigation Personal Security Handbook for the Traveling Professional." In his books, he covers everything from making a homemade taser to teaching your children how to handle themselves during an active shooter situation. No one needs to be a sheep among wolves when going about their daily lives – and Emerson wants you to know how to handle yourself. "Violence is not limited to bad guys," Emerson says. "Violence is okay for good people to activate and use against anything coming your way." He spent 20 years in the Navy as what he calls a "violent nomad." But it was a lifelong dream. In this episode of Mandatory Fun, he describes how a chance meeting in an airport with a man who claimed to be a SEAL altered the course of his life forever. But he wants you to be a violent nomad in the same way – he wants to make you self-reliant, able to self-rescue, and help others in any given situation, be they natural disasters, man-made crises, or medical emergencies. And you can do it without hiring him and his consulting firm to show you what "violence of action" means. "This kind of violence of action can save your life," he says. "You just need to know how to turn it on." Mandatory Fun is hosted By: Blake Stilwell: Air Force veteran and Managing Editor Tim Kirkpatrick: Navy veteran and Editorial Coordinator Orvelin Valle (aka O.V.): Navy veteran and Podcast Producer Catch the show on Twitter at: @MandoFun and on our Facebook group.
