(The Front Ender's Union approves) On an episode which discusses the final Grand Slam event of the season—The Masters—it's another Masters championship that has the Girls' attention. That's right … episode 8 of season 9 begins with yet another story of curling victory on the ice, this time for G2! Mary takes us through her all-star squad's victory while Lori tells us of her latest trials in the mixed doubles discipline. Next up is the aforementioned Slam event, and all the various storylines—from Ross Whyte making the men's final (and a reminder of his nude appearance in the Men Of Curling calendar) to Rachel Homan continuing to breathe fire, plus the finale of Italy's remarkable Team Retornaz. This week's Hot Topic is fascinating as on-ice penalties are being considered for future three-player teams! Next up is the 2G breakdown of Ben Hebert's latest Sheet Show, and it was certainly memorable. That is immediately followed by Team Bottcher's Christmas singalong, a World Junior B recap and word from the Nunavut playdowns. Enjoy the episode, happy holidays and stay safe!

They discuss some of Kevin's battles with Curling Canada that ultimately led to a boycott (30:10), the lineup that many consider the Greatest Team of All Time (30:50), Kevin recalls talking to Ben Hebert about making some adjustments if he wanted to play on Team Martin (41:00) and John asks Kevin what legacy he wants to leave behind (48:40).We get some shocking results and even more amazing stories in Extremely Difficult Own Career Trivia (50:00) and learn about an alternate universe where Kevin is an NHL center, in the Extra End, as Kevin answers a question from Reid Caruthers. This podcast is produced by Mike Rogerson & John Cullen, recorded and mixed by Mike Rogerson, and hosted by John Cullen. Thursday is here and that means the boys from the Real Life Podcast are back with a brand new podcast to help you get through the rest of your week. On today's show, the guys looked at fake mascots, the Oilers' stretch run, and welcomed Ben Hebert to the podcast to talk a little curling. Kicking off the Thursday episode of Real Life, the guys got started with a chat about a potential new podcast that they want to launch that talks about all of the random bets they're putting down on varying sports. Would it make sense to launch the BLT (Baggedmilk, Liam, Tyler) show? Perhaps. From there, Wanye joined the podcast and the conversation turned to last night's win against the Dallas Stars, and what the world would look like if we started cloning mascots. Sticking with the game, the guys walked through the vibes at Rogers Place and how it truly seemed like everyone showed up to the arena ready to have a good time. Lastly, the guys welcomed Ben Hebert and Marc Kennedy to the podcast to talk a little bit about their new curling team and what's going on with this new announcement.

A new week is here and that means the gang from the Real Life Podcast is back with a brand new episode to help you get through the rest of your Monday. On today's podcast, the guys looked at the Oilers' struggles between the pipes, why the special teams are awful, and welcomed Ben Hebert to the show to talk some curling. To kick things off, the guys got the podcast started with a look at the Edmonton Oilers and how this team has been so incredibly frustrating to watch over the last few weeks. Seeing as the team is on the outside of the playoff picture, the problems are seemingly endless but the guys chose to dial in on what's going on between the pipes. Since everyone is on board to make changes, the guys worked through a couple of ideas for how Ken Holland could upgrade the roster without having to sell the farm. As you'll hear, the guys are coming unhinged with what's going on here in Oil Country and that makes for a very stressful stretch run for everyone that loves them. From there, the guys were thrilled to welcome Ben Hebert to the podcast to talk about Team Alberta's success at the Brier and what it's like to go up against his native Saskatchewan a little bit later on Monday. From chirping on the ice at the Brier to recording podcasts with Bo Levi Mitchell to how he got into curling, Hebert walked the guys through his love of sports in what can only be described as a hilarious fashion.

It's kind of an open secret, regarding Curling in this country: the best of the best will agree that qualifying for the Canadian Olympic team is harder than facing the entire world at the actual winter games. If that sounds unCanadian, maybe a little too bragodocious, judge for yourself in the week ahead, as Saskatoon hosts the national team qualifying tournament. If you need some insights about how that's all going to play out… can we recommend lead Ben Hebert? The gold medallist, world champion, and four-time Brier winner is an excellent source of unvarnished wisdom about the game that he has devoted 25 years to perfecting. According to Hebert, at this level, and with these teams in the running, the whole tournament might come down to a couple of shots. Which means it could be anybody who'll get to wear the maple leaf once Beijing begins. And - looking ahead to the Olympics themselves, Hebert is quick to say, Sweden and Scotland are the nations to respect, come February. Connecting in Calgary with his old Olympian pal Anastasia, Hebert holds forth on crucial topics such as whether a Saskatchewan team winning gold in Curling, or the Rough Riders winning the Grey Cup, would make Sask hearts beat hardest… on his lingering dismay at being swept off the podium in PyeongChang, 2018… and on how money and medals have driven everybody in the game to heights of professionalism and athletic fitness that would be unheard of barely a generation back.

Ben Hebert, Founder of Natural Stacks ~ Current Series ~ 100 Interviews with 100 Location Independent Entrepreneurs That Have Over $1,000,000 in Annual Revenue Hello listeners and welcome back to the show! Today, we have a very special show for you. Many of you know this already, but The Entrepreneur House is going through a rebrand. It has been a long process that has taken over a year and a lot of hard work. We are doing this for a couple reasons; One, the company and podcast is really growing in a different direction. While we have really enjoyed over three years of hosting entrepreneurs from around the world and creating some amazing experiences, we have to be honest with ourselves and admit, it is time to up-brand. Don't worry though, we will still be creating amazing events for entrepreneurs and delivering some incredible content through the podcast. The second reason is, that the word ‘Entrepreneur' is trademarked by Entrepreneur Magazine and they have been initiating lawsuits against companies that use the word ‘entrepreneur' in their business. We interviewed David Lizerbram who is an attorney that represented a company while going through this process in Episode 211 ~ What Entrepreneurs Need to Know About Trademark and Copyright Law. This has become a very expensive and timely process for many companies, so long story short, we bit the bullet and are changing our name before this becomes an issue. But don't worry, if you are currently subscribed to the podcast on iTunes, Stitcher, TuneIn, PodBean or any other platform, you won't need to change a thing. You will just see a name change when you go to look for the show. So, we wanted to bring on an entrepreneur that has created amazing results building a 7-figure location independent business and knows a lot about the branding process. Enter, Ben ey bear Hebert. Ben is the founder of Natural Stacks. Natural Stacks is a supplement company that helps people achieve the highest level of performance with natural solutions that work. It is also a company that took Ben from less than $3,000 in his bank account to over $1,000,000 in revenue his first year in business. On the show, Ben walks us through a rebrand and asks some really good questions that can help anyone creating a new brand or reestablishing their brand. From naming, colors, and logos, Ben shares the questions he had to ask himself and walks us through the process he went through branding Natural Stacks. Later in the show, Ben talks about getting to your next level of business, tapping into trends and what he would do if he had to start all over. It is an incredible episode full of high-value content and without further adieu...Ben Hebert “Just stay in the game. If you stay in long enough, you will find success, and you'll make it happen!” Ben Hebert 03:01: The Birth of Natural Stacks a 7-Figure Business in One Year 07:35: Rebranding 101 - Rebranding a Name 11:32: The Entrepreneur House is Rebranding and Ben Walks us Through the Process 20:58: Branding from the Top Down. 26:45: Ben on a Brands Colors and Logo Questions to ask yourself and your team when going through a brand change. What does my brand represent in the market category? What does everyone else look like? What can you do to innovate and make it special? 29:29: Getting to the Next Level of Your Business 34:45: Tapping Into Trends and Examining the Rapid Growth of Natural Stacks 36:38: If Ben Had to Start All Over 40:45: Ben's Endgame 42:42: What Ben Looks for When Hiring an Executive Coach 43:59: Final Words of Wisdom Ben recommends taking Dopamine in the morning to get your day going and GABA for sleep at night! Minimum Effective Dose. If you're like me, you're interested in getting the most from the least. That's really the nature of bio-hacking and performance optimization right? How can we all get the most return from our output. What movements, dietary supplements, and therapies can we do to perform at our highest levels? If yer jiving with this... you should be rowing. Greg Hammond from Concept2 joined me for a ranging conversation about fitness, performance and active lifestyles. Greg really broke down why rowing is the ideal exercise - it goest something like this. • More than any other exercise equipment the rower engages your entire body, from your ankles all the way up to the top of your shoulders. • QUADS. The rowing motion safely and consistently engages your quads, which are obviously essential for your physical performance. • Each rowing motion engages your core. It's a contraction and release motion that's like doing a ton of crunches. So who uses the Concept2 rower? High performers. There are several Concept2 rowing machines at the Olympic Games in PeyongChang South Korea. Olympic Biathlon competitor Emily Dreissigacker who is the daughter of the Concept2 founders and former Olympians Judy Greer and Dick Dreissigacker. Who else trains on the Concept2? • 2016/2017 Crossfit Champion Mat Fraser • Crossfit phenom Rich Froning • Hugh Jackman • Countless Olympic athletes • Natural Stacks co-founder Ben Hebert (wink) Greg and I talk about the future of exercise and how genetic technology, blood testing and bespoke recovery approaches will continue to evolve. As an exercise science major in college, Greg mentioned that there wasn't much information about blood markers or the recovery process. It'll be interesting to see where it leads. And by golly, I'm committed to staying at the cutting edge. Greg also gives all of us an intro to the rowing machine. Heck, I learned something. Did I mention we're giving one of these bad-boys away? In addition to the Concept2 Rower we're also adding a Polar H10 heart rate monitor to elevate your home fitness game. As always, thanks for listening, and hit me up for feeback! sean@naturalstacks.com ** Follow Concept2Web: http://bit.ly/OPPConcept2 Follow Sean McCormickInstagram: http://bit.ly/OPPMacTwitter: http://bit.ly/OPPMacTwitter Follow Natural StacksTwitter: http://bit.ly/NsTwitterInstagram: http://bit.ly/NsInstagram Facebook: http://bit.ly/NsFacebook SHOP NATURAL STACKSShop: http://bit.ly/OPPShop
The girls take a road trip to the Players Championship in Toronto. They were able to ask some rapid fire questions with Ben Hebert, Cathy Overton Clapham, Jim Cotter and Pete Steski. Lots of observations about the behind the scenes shenanigans and their very late night. They discuss the latest "Sheet Show" and decided to do their own impersonations of some of their favourite players. Also ran into a fan of our show and did a fun interview with her!
