Chris Cuomo brings together key moments from this week's Cuomo Mornings on SiriusXM, featuring conversations with White House border czar Tom Homan, Rep. Madeleine Dean (D-PA), and callers weighing in on immigration enforcement and the State of the Union. Homan responds to criticism over ICE training standards, detention facilities, recent use-of-force incidents, and calls for greater transparency around ongoing investigations. Cuomo presses him on accountability, coordination with local law enforcement, and whether ICE must do more to rebuild public trust. Dean reacts to President Trump's address, arguing Democrats must focus on health care costs, Medicaid cuts, tariffs, and the kitchen-table concerns voters are feeling. Callers from across the country challenge both parties — questioning Democratic tactics, rising costs, immigration policy, and whether the president actually addressed what working Americans are experiencing. President Donald Trump said he has learned that his administration might need to take "a little bit of a softer touch" in its immigration crackdown in Minneapolis, following the fatal shootings of U.S. citizens Renee Good and Alex Pretti by federal agents last month. Trump's comments come amid mounting backlash, including from some Republican lawmakers, over the Department of Homeland Security's response to the shootings and its broader handling of operations in Minneapolis. Tim Walz and Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey, both Democrats, called the withdrawal a positive first step but urged the Trump administration to end the remaining federal presence as soon as possible. After Pretti's shooting, Trump removed Border Patrol Commander Greg Bovino from overseeing the Minneapolis operation and placed Homan in charge, calling him "tough but fair" and saying he would report directly to the president.Advertising Inquiries: https://redcircle.com/brandsPrivacy & Opt-Out: https://redcircle.com/privacy

SHOW NOTES: The winter Olympics had a boring opening ceremony except for Andrea Bocelli. Some of the events seem duplicative, especially figure skating and skiing. Some seem like efforts to avoid death or injury, and not just competing—skeleton, luge, giant slalom, ski jumping, distance skiing. Skiing in ruts is rather boring, and then the women collapsing over the finishing line and gasping for air is frightening. The giant slalom hits about 85 MPH. Luge and skeleton runs are between 80 and 100 MPH. On the ice, men are tossing women around who have knives attached to their feet. The French judge in figure skating obviously downgraded the American and inflated the French scores so that the latter pairs won. That judge has been known to have done this throughout the last year. Now onto curling, which is a game played with stones and brooms, has suffered cheating accusations for the Canadians “double touching” the stone on launch. After a profane, long outburst by the accused, slow reply showed he, indeed, did commit the infraction. In a manner of speaking he “gave them the finger” before tongue lashing them with obscenities. So much for the Olympic spirit. (And for Canadians being nice people.) At the 2026 Winter Olympics in Milan-Cortina, Canadian curlers Marc Kennedy and Rachel Homan were accused of "double-touching" (illegally touching a stone after its initial release) in separate matches. Sweden's Oskar Eriksson initiated the allegation against Kennedy on Feb. 13, while officials flagged Homan on Feb. 14. Curling is basically the same as shuffleboard, which older people play in retirement villages, or bocce which specifically older Italian people play on dirt. Then there's the cousin, English Lawn Bowls, which I've never been able to finish watching without falling asleep. Johnny Weir, the former Olympic figure skater and NBC commentator, is renowned for his highly, flamboyant, and gender-neutral fashion choices while broadcasting, often featuring makeup, jewelry, and avant-garde, designer clothing. He and Sarah Lapinsky are worth the time spent watching people jump around on ice. Yes, it is true that the Olympic Village at the 2026 Milano Cortina Winter Games ran out of free condoms within the first three days, according to reports in La Stampa and The Guardian. Approximately 10,000 contraceptives for about 2,900 athletes were depleted quickly, prompting emergency restocking due to higher-than-expected demand. Now THAT'S the competitive spirit!

While the left works hard to find any little thing that looks bad for ICE or our current enforcement of immigration, the man in charge turns out to be a real human with a real heart. Wait until you hear the story Tom Homan told at a conference about the victims of our open borders. According to a report by the Topeka Cap Journal, democrats approved all kinds of voter packets to be sent to Kansans that never requested them. This is a huge scam. We have the information you need to disable that start/stop button on your car. Ron DeSantis hammers NYC over the Mayor's new budget as it's bigger than the entire state of Florida budget. It happened on a day the leader of the player's union resigned in a sex scandal. And a self proclaimed "woke bit__" skating for team USA had a little too much Trump hate in her heart and flamed out on the ice and then embarrassed us all as a total baby balling her eyes out. Ughh. It's Wednesday, February 18th, A.D. 2026. This is The Worldview in 5 Minutes heard on 140 radio stations and at www.TheWorldview.com. I'm Adam McManus. (Adam@TheWorldview.com) By Jonathan Clark Iranian authorities killed 19 Christians Article 18 reports Iran's security forces have killed at least 19 Christians during recent anti-government protests. The Islamic Republic's security forces brutally cracked down on demonstrators, including Christians. Believers already face persecution for participating in activities like prayer gatherings, baptisms, and Bible distribution. In December, five Christians received prison sentences totaling 50 years for such activities. Iran is ranked 10th on the Open Doors' World Watch List of the most oppressive countries to be a Christian. Nuclear deal between America and Iran Speaking of Iran, the country sent representatives to meet with U.S. officials in Geneva, Switzerland yesterday. The two countries agreed to “guiding principles” for a potential nuclear deal. At the same time, the U.S. is conducting a military build-up in the region. U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio has said that striking a deal with Iran is difficult because of its commitment to radical Islam. Secretary Rubio urged Europe to embrace Christian heritage Secretary Rubio addressed the Munich Security Conference in Germany on Saturday. He criticized Europe for embracing globalism, open borders, massive welfare states, and climate activism. Rubio said, “We in America have no interest in being polite and orderly caretakers of the West's managed decline.” Instead, he called for European countries to partner with the United States on the basis of their common heritage—Christianity. Listen. RUBIO: “America was founded 250 years ago, but the roots began here on this continent, long before the men who settled and built the nation of my birth arrived on our shores, carrying the memories and the traditions and the Christian faith of their ancestors as a sacred inheritance, an unbreakable link between the old world and the new. “We are part of one civilization, Western civilization. We are bound to one another by the deepest bonds that nations could share, forged by centuries of shared history, Christian faith, culture, heritage, language, ancestry and the sacrifices our forefathers made together for the common civilization to which we have fallen heir.” Jeremiah 6:16 says, “Stand in the ways and see, and ask for the old paths, where the good way is, and walk in it; then you will find rest for your souls.” Border Czar: We arrested 4,000 illegals & recovered 3,000 kids in MN In the United States, White House Border Czar Tom Homan announced the conclusion of Operation Metro Surge in Minnesota last week. Immigration enforcement officers are in the process of leaving the state after having made over 4,000 arrests since December. Homan noted that officers also recovered over 3,000 missing children. HOMAN: “I.C.E. is a legitimate federal law enforcement agency. We're not out scouring the streets to disappear people or deny people their civil rights or due process. In addition to taking public safety threats off the street, I.C.E., here in this state, have located 3,364 missing, unaccompanied alien children -- children the last administration lost and weren't even looking for.” Planned Parenthood closes Florida abortion mill Planned Parenthood announced Monday it will close one of its abortion mills in Florida. The Lakeland, Florida killing center will fully close next month. This ends 50 years of the abortion giant's presence in the area. Planned Parenthood locations have fallen from 567 in 2021 to 488 last month. However, Katherine Van Dyke with American Life League warned, “By shedding this ‘dead weight,' they're not retreating. They're regrouping to push the abortion pill regimen through virtual channels, streamlining abortion on demand.” 348th anniversary of Pilgrim's Progress And finally, this week is the 348th anniversary of the publication of John Bunyan's Pilgrim's Progress. His first volume of the book was announced on February 18, 1678. Bunyan began the work from prison. He was sentenced for holding unsanctioned religious services. Despite suffering for his faith, he produced a Christian classic that would influence the church for centuries. The 19th century English preacher Charles Spurgeon, who read Pilgrim's Progress 100 times, said of Bunyan, “Read anything of his, and you will see that it is almost like reading the Bible itself. He had read it till his very soul was saturated with Scripture; and though his writings are charmingly full of poetry, yet he cannot give us his Pilgrim's Progress—that sweetest of all prose poems—without continually making us feel and say, ‘Why, this man is a living Bible!'” Jeremiah 15:16 says, “Your words were found, and I ate them, and Your Word was to me the joy and rejoicing of my heart; for I am called by Your name, O LORD, God of hosts.” Close And that's The Worldview on this Wednesday, February 18th, in the year of our Lord 2026. Tensions are rising in the Persian Gulf. The Trump administration says that diplomacy is the best path forward with Iran—even as a second massive aircraft carrier heads toward the region. Meanwhile, Iran's regime is flexing its muscles with live military drills in the strategic Strait of Hormuz, just one day before nuclear talks with the United States are set to resume. The latest on the Nancy Guthrie case: The Pima County Sheriff on Monday urged the public to stop speculating about Guthrie's family members, saying, “The Guthrie family—to include all siblings and spouses—has been cleared as possible suspects in this case.” This comes after the FBI confirmed that it found DNA on a glove retrieved near the Guthrie home that appears to match the gloves worn by a suspect seen in surveillance footage.White House border czar Tom Homan says that more than 1,000 immigration agents have left Minnesota, with more leaving early this week. Homan also responded to some of the demands that Democrats have made to end the shutdown of the Department of Homeland Security, which has been in effect since Saturday after Congress failed to reach a funding agreement.

Key Takeaways:The best connectors give freely — but they also need to learn to ask for themselves.Every introduction has value; honoring the chain of connection strengthens trust.Purposeful communities grow when people align around shared values and generosity. The equation for meaningful success: the right people + the right conditions.True connection isn't networking — it's orchestrating relationships with intention.David can be found at: orchestratedconnecting.com In appreciation for being here, I have some gifts for you:A LinkedIn Checklist for setting up your fully optimized Profile:An opportunity to test drive the Follow Up system I recommend by checking this presentation page - you won't regret it. The White House border czar Tom Homan announced that at least 1,000 federal officers have left Minnesota as their ICE surge operation in the state comes to a close. That's according to an interview with CBS News Sunday. Homan said several hundred more will leave today and tomorrow. In the weeks that ICE agents were here at peak numbers, hundreds of reports of civil rights violations from protestors, legal observers, and other Minnesotans piled up at the office of the ACLU of Minnesota. They are still busy collecting and sorting accounts, and this past Friday the organization added the stories of more than 80 Minnesotans in a lawsuit against the federal government. John Boehler is policy counsel at the ACLU of Minnesota and he joined Minnesota Now to talk about what's next.

President Donald Trump's border czar, Tom Homan, announced Thursday that Operation Metro Surge is coming to an end in Minnesota. Homan told reporters the operation successfully reduced threats to public safety by detaining undocumented immigrants with criminal records. He cited "unprecedented levels of coordination" between state officials and local law enforcement as a key factor in the decision. The conclusion of this controversial surge comes after weeks of protests in Minneapolis and other cities over ICE's tactics, as well as tense congressional negotiations over funding for the Department of Homeland Security. Jonathan Fahey, an attorney and former acting ICE director, joins us to explain what led to Homan's decision, why he views the operation as a success, and why he believes Democratic demands to reform ICE are impractical. Homan and a small number of federal agents will remain on the ground to transition "full command and control back to the field office."Federal and local law enforcement officers are continuing the search for Nancy Guthrie, mother of "Today" show host Savannah Guthrie. Authorities say they believe she was taken against her will after last being seen at her home on Jan. 31.FBI agents combed the desert near Guthrie's Tucson-area home on Feb. 11. They also knocked on doors and searched through bushes and boulders in the neighborhood.Authorities say several hundred detectives and agents are now assigned to the case, which has captured national attention.

President Donald Trump says a “softer touch” may be needed to carry out his immigration enforcement agenda. “I learned that maybe we can use a little bit of a softer touch, but you still have to be tough. These are criminals – we're dealing with really hard criminals,” Trump told NBC News following the deaths of Alex Pretti and Renee Good in Minneapolis in January. Two separate polls confirm the president's conclusion is in line with the American public's view of U.S. immigration policy. A recent NPR/PBS News/Marist poll found that 65% of Americans feel that Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents have gone too far in enforcing immigration laws. But recent polling from the group Cygnal shows that 54% of Americans support ICE enforcing U.S. immigration laws to remove illegal aliens from the country. The same poll found that 61% of U.S. voters support deporting illegal aliens. “I think what those two polls are actually doing is talking about policy, and they're talking about the execution of policy,” Meaghan Mobbs, director of the Center for American Safety and Security at the Independent Women's Forum, says. “Americans support the policy, which is deportation, but like President Trump said, perhaps there's a way to go about it that's not exactly how it unfolded in Minneapolis,” Mobbs explains on this week's edition of “Problematic Women.” “I think that's the threading of the needle where [Trump] said, we're going to keep doing it, but maybe with a ‘softer touch,' which I do think means increasing communication with local and state authorities, [and] I think means messaging it more effectively.” Mobbs joins “Problematic Women” to discuss Trump's decision to deploy border czar Tom Homan to Minnesota and Homan's actions since he arrived in the Twin Cities. Plus, we discuss the extent to which U.S. support for ICE comes down to a PR and messaging battle. Enjoy the show! On Wedneday's Mark Levin Show, Larry O'Connor fills in for Mark. Border Czar Tom Homan is achieving what President Trump campaigned on: apprehending and deporting criminal illegal immigrants, even in hostile areas like Minneapolis. Despite media claims that the administration is retreating or changing policy, the opposite is true—the administration is getting everything it wants, with Homan delivering the message diplomatically yet firmly, almost as if favoring Governor Tim Walz. Sanctuary city policies in places like Minneapolis blocks common-sense law and order by refusing to cooperate with ICE, denying that ICE is law enforcement and obstructing the orderly transfer of criminal aliens from local custody to federal deportation. Trump confirmed that the withdrawal of 700 ICE agents from Minneapolis was his decision and he acknowledged that a somewhat softer touch in Minneapolis might be useful while still remaining tough on serious criminals. While tone and tactics may adjust, the core immigration enforcement policy remains unchanged. Learn more about your ad choices. Visit podcastchoices.com/adchoices

Meet my friends, Clay Travis and Buck Sexton! If you love Verdict, you might also dig the Clay Travis and Buck Sexton Show. Politics, news analysis, and some pop culture and comedy thrown in too. Here’s an episode recapping four takeaways. Give the guys a listen and then follow and subscribe wherever you get your podcasts: ihr.fm/3InlkL8 1.) A Shattered Narrative Much of Hour 1 centers on new and damaging video evidence involving Alex Pretti, an anti ICE activist whose death during a confrontation with federal agents sparked nationwide controversy. Clay and Buck argue that the newly surfaced footage—showing Pretti screaming obscenities at ICE officers, spitting on them, and vandalizing a government vehicle days before the fatal incident—fundamentally undermines the media narrative portraying him as an innocent bystander or heroic humanitarian. 2.) Media Myths Collapse Again Throughout Hour 2, Clay Travis and Buck Sexton repeatedly draw parallels between the Duke lacrosse scandal and the current media portrayal of Alex Preti, arguing that both cases reflect a pattern of myth making, presumption of guilt, and moral panic when stories fit a preferred ideological script. They emphasize how contradictory evidence—such as alibis, video footage, or witness testimony—is often ignored until narratives collapse, at which point institutions quietly move on without accountability. The hosts also argue that social media has fundamentally changed this dynamic, crediting Elon Musk’s acquisition of X (formerly Twitter) and the rise of alternative AI tools like Grok for weakening centralized information control and allowing inconvenient facts to surface more quickly. 3.) Elon Musk, Genius The latter half of Hour 2 blends cultural commentary and lighter banter with ongoing political themes. Clay and Buck react in real time to being retweeted by Elon Musk, discussing the influence of X, AI, and tech consolidation on the future of information and public discourse. They also touch on breaking reports that SpaceX and xAI may be moving toward deeper integration, framing it as a potential seismic shift in technology, media, and artificial intelligence. 4.) Homan Takes Control Clay and Buck play multiple clips from Homan and praise his calm, data driven approach, highlighting his confirmation that Minnesota authorities will now notify ICE when violent criminal offenders are being released from custody so federal agents can assume responsibility. The hosts frame this as a strategic win that prioritizes public safety while making enforcement operations more targeted and less dangerous. They emphasize Homan’s repeated message that while criminals remain the top priority, no one who entered the country illegally is “off the table” for deportation, warning that signaling immunity for non violent illegal migrants would only encourage further unlawful entry. Throughout Hour 3, Clay Travis and Buck Sexton argue that Homan should remain the primary public face and operational leader of deportation efforts, crediting his decades of experience and ability to clearly explain enforcement realities while exposing what they describe as obstruction from sanctuary style jurisdictions. The hosts contrast cooperation in states like Texas with resistance in Minnesota and sharply criticize Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey for advocating the abolition of ICE. Clay challenges Democratic leaders to articulate a specific numerical limit on illegal immigration, arguing that calls to halt enforcement ignore basic questions of capacity, sovereignty, and rule of law.
