This week, we look at a man who was can best described as equal parts violence, and desire. He fought his way to the NFL, and all the way to being a Super Bowl trivia answer & a member of the "Legion of Boom", but along the way, everything seemed to fall apart. It started with a drug charge, but ends up with an increasingly dangerous & violent streak, directed mainly toward his ex girlfriend, and her family. He takes it to a serious extreme, causing himself to face a possibility of life in prison! A wild ride of a story, and a crazy "where are they, now?"!!Fight your way from Canada to the NFL, be one of only 7 people on earth to do a particular thing, and break into your ex's house, through a window, and cause mass havoc!!Check us out, every Tuesday! We will continue to bring you the biggest idiots in sports history!! There have been quite a few CFL players to make their way to the NFL. Stars like Cameron Wake, Brandon Browner, and Joe Horn, in fact, all got their big breaks at the CFL (for the B.C. Lions, Calgary Stampeders, and Memphis Mad Dogs, respectively). There have also been a handful of NFL players who have taken their talents to Canada. One such player is Johnny Manziel, who, unfortunately, seems to have blown his shot at football redemption in the CFL. The players in this list, however, are unlike Manziel, have been the tops in both leagues.

The 2016 NFL Draft is only days away and the division rival Los Angeles Rams have the top pick. They're almost sure to be spending that pick on a quarterback, so Adam and Brandan take a look at their best options. They guys talk about which guy is the best in the draft and which quarterback they'd prefer to the Rams to talk. Adam's list of top five quarterbacks looks nothing like the consensus top picks and he explains why. The Seahawks haven't yet re-signed Tarvaris Jackson. Pete Carroll and John Schneider have only drafted one quarterback for Seattle. Is this the year they spend a pick on QB, or does Adam's third favorite quarterback fall out of the draft entirely to where he could come into Seattle as a perfect fit behind Russell Wilson. Brandon Browner is back in Seattle and reunites with the team and the original Legion of Boom. Why does this move have Adam and Brandan so intrigued? After a rough season in New Orleans, does Browner have anything left in the tank? Browner actually fills a very specific need that the team was missing last year, but we'll have to wait and see if Coach Carroll feels the same way. Do better nods this week go to Tiger Woods for a story that came out about a time he had lunch with a group of Navy SEALs, and to the Panthers for making a seemingly strange decision to let one of their top defensive players go. Brandan talks about some excitement around a new movie trailer and Adam wishes a happy birthday to a Seahawks player he wants to see playing in Seattle in 2016. iTunes | Stitcher | TuneIn | Facebook | Twitter | RSS Call or text: 253-235-9041 Email: gohawks@seahawkerspodcast.com Visit Patreon.com if you'd like to help support the show and get bonus episodes Download our free Amazon app, Android app, or iOS app Find Sea Hawkers clubs around the world at SeaHawkers.org Music from the show by The 12 Train, download each track at ReverbNation

Its decision week in the NFL as the Patriots and other NFL teams get ready for the New League Year. The Patriots have used the franchise tag on Kicker Stephen Gostkowski. Safety Devin McCourty is set to bean unrestricted free agent if a new contract is not signed before 4pm on March 10th. Where do the Patriots and the representatives for star corner back Darrelle Revis stand in there negotiations? Jeff Kane and Bobby Krivitsky break down that and more. Including the luck the Patriots have had in kickers since Adam Vinatieri was brought on in 1996. Could James White fill the void of a Shane Vereen departure or does the team need to lookat a player like Reggie Bush, who both Brain Daboll and Dave DeGuglielmo know well. Will Malcolm Butler be able to rise up the ranks next season and will he be known for more than just his Surper Bowl play. Does his assention, mean that Brandon Browner could be a cap casualty as he is due a roster bonus to start the league year. What will happen with Vince Wilfork, Jeff thinks he's a cap casualty while Bobby is looking for hope in a restructuring. What about Danny Amendola, is he on the outs? Could a player like Josh Boyce take his place? Why is Brian Tyms looked at with such lust by Patriots Nation, while Aaron Dobson is looked at like a bust. All this and more one Patriots Beat
Days away from watching the Seahawks appear in their third Super Bowl in team history, Adam and Brandan are joined by Gerrad this week to break down the matchup with the New England Patriots. The guys start by listening in on 90 hilarious seconds of Bill Belichick's press conference where it talks about the deflated balls . . . footballs, before moving on to some real analysis. From how the two teams matchup broadly on each side of the ball to individual matchups with the Rob Gronkowski, Marshawn Lynch, and who might be spying on Russell Wilson, the guys cover as much ground as possible in looking at the different aspects of this game. BostonHawk, Dave Bloomquist, joins the show from deep in Patriots territory to talk about how the Seahawks are perceived by opposing fans in the area. He also talks about his ingenious ploy to get Patriots fans to help him showcase the 12 flag at a variety of Boston landmarks. After offering predictions on the game, Gerrad heads out while Adam and Brandan get into your emails. Adam offers a sincere apology while putting himself in the "Do Better" slot and Brandan goes after Rich Eisen. The guys wrap up the show with Better at Life nominees Brandon Browner and a highlight of an amazing sendoff by fans when the Seahawks departed for Glendale.

Most experts believe that the winner of this game will be able to set the table for themselves in the playoffs. Its been an arms race since the offseason. As Week 2 of NFL free agency gets underway, Rich Eisen welcomes NFL Media columnist Michael Silver for a recap of the week's biggest signings. Silver discusses whether or not the addition of cornerbacks Darrelle Revis and Brandon Browner are enough to get the New England Patriots back to the Super Bowl. Plus, Silver sheds light on the Denver Broncos' approach to free agency, including the controversial acquisition of free-agent wide receiver Emmanuel Sanders. Finally, Silver and Eisen review the New York Jets and Carolina Panthers, and discuss how each team has fared in free agency. Next, Eisen welcomes back television host Seth Meyers, who dials in from New York for a chat about his transition from “Saturday Night Live” to his new late-night television show “Late Night with Seth Meyers.” Meyers shares stories about Peyton Manning's SNL appearance and weighs in on which athletes he'd like to have on his new show. Plus, as NFL Network's “Dynasty Week” continues, Meyers discusses growing up a fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers teams of the 1970s. Enjoy, and as always, thanks for downloading! For a bye week, there was a lot of attention on the Seahawks for the wrong reasons. With the biggest game of the year next up on the schedule, the news was magnified around a four-game suspension for Walter Thurmond and a potential year-long suspension of Brandon Browner. Adam and Brandan talk about what the suspensions mean for the team moving forward. The Saints may have the second best record in the NFC, but the guys are both extremely confident that this game will work out in favor of the Seahawks. Between home field advantage and the noise generated by the second attempt at the Guinness record, and simply how well this team matches up against New Orleans, Seattle should take another step toward securing home field advantage. Adam and Brandan hand out the "coveted" bye-week awards. They disagree on who should win the award on offense and special teams and come to agreement on the defensive side of the ball. They also hand out awards for best offseason acquisition and rookie of the season so far. They finish up by telling a pair of Cowboys and an NFL reporter to "do better." A bonus "do better" is directed toward Black Friday shoppers. This week's Better at Life segment is split between Seattle and New England as Coach Belichick makes a bold decision on Sunday night and the 12th Man reaches the top of Mt. Everest.
