The first team offense took on the second team defense and vice versa at RayJay last week. The Bucs piped in the crowd noise and it gave us a glimpse about how the regular season will look with the add-in. The kicking competition gets interesting this week, as, despite Elliot Fry giving Matt Gay a run for his money some days, the Bucs gave him the ax and brought in veteran Ryan Succop. Molly's convinced the competition is more about giving Matt Gay a nudge than replacing him this season. The Jaguars waived Leonard Fournette. Could the Bucs be a potential landing spot for the free agent? Alvin Kamara may be finding himself with a new team. Reports on Sunday said the running back had missed three practices with unexcused absences in the midst of contract negotiations. Kamara's agent stated he's been injured but in the Saints building. Molly has a theory as to what's keeping Kamara out and it starts with Vita and ends with Suh. Mark Barron lands a job in Denver, reuniting with Demar Dotson. Free agent OT Demar Dotson, who played right tackle for the Buccaneers for 11 years and was the Bucs' longest tenured player before this year, is still on the market and wants to play. Per Pewter Report, Dotson has fielded inquiries from other teams but the right opportunity has not appeared. Should Dot not get a starting job, the vet will retire. Buccaneers ticket prices get the Tom Brady bump. Former Bucs running back Cadillac Williams gets a job with his alma mater. In a special edition of the Pewter Nation Podcast right before New Year's Eve, we are joined by two great guests. The first guest, which this entire podcast revolves around, is Bucs starting right tackle Demar Dotson! The other guest on the show is the host of the former What The Buc Podcast, Derek Fournier. With the season over, Dotson is now an unrestricted free agent. Does he want to keep playing or does he plan to retire? If he keeps playing, would he like to stay with the Bucs? Dotson tells us all about how he feels about his future playing days for 2020. Dotson has a ton of great stories over his years playing for the Bucs, and tells one hilarious story about his first couple days of practice as an undrafted free agent. He has another great one about one of the toughest players he's had to block against in game, and the toughest teammate to play against in practice. It wouldn't be a Bucs related show if there wasn't a discussion about Bruce Arians and Jameis Winston. Dotson broke down what makes Arians different then the other coaches that he's had here, and expresses how much he liked playing for him this season. When it comes to Winston, Dotson tells us how teammates truly felt about him in the locker room, and whether he thinks Winston will be back next season. Stay tuned to find out his thoughts in the new Pewter Nation Podcast.

Also, we take a look at some news and notes- inlcuding The #Ravens releasing S Tony Jefferson, a starter for the last three seasons. He had a cap hit of almost $12M, and this saves the majority of it.@RapSheet #Redskins are releasing CB Josh Norman, source says. Intriguing situation to watch, as he now has time to find his new team ahead of free agency.#wasington WR Paul Richardson is being let go, source says. @MikeGarafolo . The problem? They need a quarterback- former #LAChargers Phillip Rivers maybe? They also are potentially losing a bunch of D-linemen to free agency including Edges Shaq Barrett, Jason Pierre Paul, Carl Nassib, Defensive Tackle Ndamakong Suh, wide receiver Breshad Perrimen, and offensive tackle Demar Dotson. The Houson Texans might’ve traded away a bunch of picks and have no first rounder in the upcoming NFL Draft- but the also made Bill O’Brian their General Manager… so all is great right? To be fair this team still has a decent amount of picks in the upcoming draft- just none in the first round this year. They are also walking into free agency with about 56,538,061- they just released cornerback Vernon Hargreaves to avoid a 10 million cap hit with his option (claimed off waivers last year)- maybe they bring him back on a cheaper deal? If they want more money they can release Kenny Stills andDuke johnson- but without Duke, they won’t have anyone to play runningback on the roster, as Lamar Miller and Carlos Hyde are free agents going into this year. Also, Conrerbacks Bradley Roby and Johnathan Joseph, as well as Tight end Darren fells & kicker Ka'imi Fairbairn are upcoming free agents. See who we think they should resign! Also, we give a list of Potential targets that may include CB Logan Ryan, CB Chris Harris, DT Michael Brockers and T Vaitai
