Most recently she wrote “Rescuing Christmas” which premiered exclusively on HMN on Dec 7th. She has 11 directing credits, but only one since this movie and it was the CCB movie “A Christmas…Present” for GAF. Why Was "A New Year's Resolution" Pulled From the Hallmark Schedule - A New Year's Resolution was to air originally on December 28, 2019 as part of that year's Countdown to Christmas. However, on December 16, 2019 a tweet from @HotlineHallmark revealed that the movie had been pulled from the schedule.  A few articles I found didn't have many details as why the movie was pulled. Coincidence or not, but the movie's producer Kevin Duda also had another movie pulled from the Hallmark schedule earlier that year.  A recent conversation with some peers in the industry mentioned that this movie was pulled because Bill Abbott - the head of Hallmark at the time - simply didn't like the movie. 2023 International Boxing Hall of Fame inductee Timothy Bradley had an excellent career that saw him win 33 fights, lose just two and draw once in his 37 bouts. Of course, there was a trilogy with Manny Pacquiao, the Fight of the Year with Russian Provodnikov, victory over the likes of Juan Manuel Marquez, Brandon Rios, Joel Casamayor, Devon Alexander, Lamont Peterson and Kendall Holt before he retired and became one of the sport's best analysts for ESPN. He won his first world title in England, against Junior Witter, but he had always had his eyes on the Hall of Fame.  This is Bradley's own story, from growing up tough in Palm Springs, to having his heart broken in the Olympic trials and becoming a pariah for his win over Pacquiao to becoming Hall of Famer and resounding boxing good guy with universal respect.

This week, I review Hallmark Channel's newest movie Warming up to You starring Cindy Busby, Christopher Russell, Devon Alexander, Caitlyn Stryker and LaTonya Williams. Directed by Christie Will Wolf. I had very low expectations with this movie. Between the fat shaming in the promos and the fat suit on Chris, I had a feeling I wasn't going to like it. But I gave it a try anyway. Movie was ok. It was not the worst Hallmark movie of 2022. Still belongs to another Chris Russell movie "Where Your Heart Belongs". I liked the chemistry between Chris and Cindy. This is their third movie together, so it has to be there. Lol. The scenery was beautiful. and I can't believe they inserted a Bridgerton reference on a Hallmark movie. Like WHat?!?! But I didn't like the ableism, fat shaming, "exercise cures everything even depression" which it doesn't. So much eek. There were some awkwardness too in plenty of scenes. Like the play fighting and stuff. I would like to see Cindy and Chris in other movies with costars they've never worked with before. I feel like between the scenery and the same cast, this felt like Chasing Waterfalls 2. I would like to see Cindy work with Nathan Witte next. And Chris with Nikki DeLoach. I think giving both actors a different scene partner would be nice. Gave it 2/5 stars. May is AAPI month. On Instagram I have made collages highlighting actors of Asian and Pacific Islander descent. Sometimes things just don't go as planned. We a lot fights go on this weekend. There was more then one fighter on the comeback trail. We saw Bryant Perella return get spoiled. Why can't Devon Alexander catch a break? There's is still a unification on the horizon just not with the players we thought.
