Brian is back, and this time he's bringing along a very special guest — comedian and writer Jen Kirkman! Together, they dive into one of Hallmark's most ambitious Christmas movies yet, A Newport Christmas. For more Jen, head to jenkirkman.comABOUT A NEWPORT CHRISTMASElla, a charitable and spirited socialite from Newport in 1905 who dreams of using her wealth to start a foundation to help others in town, goes for a nighttime sail in her schooner to clear her head when she learns her father intends for her to become engaged to a man she's never met at the upcoming Christmas Eve ball. Upon seeing a comet shoot across the sky, she suddenly finds herself transported to 2025 Newport and meets Nick, a local historian. As Ella adjusts to her new surroundings and the two grow close, the legacy she built in her time and the course of Newport's history risk being erased the longer she stays in the present.AIR DATE & NETWORK FOR A NEWPORT CHRISTMASNovember 2, 2025 | Hallmark ChannelCAST & CREW OF A NEWPORT CHRISTMASGinna Claire Mason as Ella Stewart GraftonWes Brown as Nick McMannyBRAN'S A NEWPORT CHRISTMAS SYNOPSISThe movie kicks off in 1905 in Rhode Island. Ella is a fun-loving socialite who cares deeply for people who are down on their luck. She dreams of starting a charity, but her father isn't having it. He insists she focus on getting engaged instead. Upset, she rushes off in her boat.Cut to present day in Newport. Nick is leading a historical tour when he hears that the Coast Guard needs help with a rescue. Being an ex–Coast Guard officer, he takes a boat out to assist. Suddenly, Ella appears in his boat — she's been transported from 1905 to 2025!They're both shocked, but Nick sails them back to shore. Ella threatens to turn him in to the authorities, but she's clearly confused — this is not the Newport she knows. When she introduces herself, Nick is thrown off. He asks what year she thinks it is. When she answers “1905,” he's like, “Uh oh.” He assumes she's just an overly committed cosplayer. Then she spots an inflatable snowman and faints. When she comes to, she heads back outside and is horrified to see that women wear pants. She walks to what she believes is her home — but there are strangers living there. “WHAT ARE YOU DOING IN MY HOUSE?!” she yells. The family explains the history of her estate and how she's actually a famous historical figure. Ella is stunned. She decides she has to get back home — and what better way than by boat? But when Nick inspects the boat, he's shocked: none of his modern equipment is there, the carvings are different, and the name on the boat has changed. It's clearly her boat.To prove who she is, Ella shows them a secret hiding spot containing her belongings — including a diary no one knew existed. They finally believe her and agree to let her stay at a local bed and breakfast. One guy, Francis, theorizes, “What if the present and the past are happening simultaneously? I believe her. 1905 Ella hasn't started The Giving House yet, so clearly she must make it back.”Nick tells Ella that he thinks she's time-traveled. Ella mentions that before meeting him, she saw a comet — maybe that's connected.Nick takes her to see the town's Christmas tree lighting, and she's absolutely blown away. But when she spots a monument dedicated to The Giving House, she's shaken. As she reads it, Nick gets word that Ella is beginning to disappear from old portraits — and right before their eyes, the text on the monument starts to fade. They realize they need to get her back to 1905 before she vanishes completely.Nick researches the comet and learns there's a “Christmas Comet” that appears every 20 years. Ella confesses that when she saw the comet in 1905, she wished for a different life. The good news? The comet is coming again — in just five days. The bad news? That gives Ella and Nick more time to fall for each other, which they definitely do.As they stroll through town, Ella notices a man who looks vaguely familiar. She later learns he's the man her father bought the boat from. Nick's like, “Wait — that's the same guy I bought the boat from.”They track him down, and he introduces himself as Rex. Ella is stunned — that's the man she's supposed to marry. Rex admits that her father sent him out to rescue her after she ran away… but something went wrong, and he was transported to 2005 instead.Rex explains that when he arrived, he found a letter leaving the boat to him, with instructions to eventually sell it to Nick. He doesn't know who wrote the letter, but he figured out the Christmas Comet is the key to returning home. The twist? He's not sure he wants to go back.Ella's torn. She knows she's destined to marry Rex, but her heart belongs to Nick. Rex confides that he's built a life in the present — and even fallen for another woman. Ella admits she kind of wants to stay, too.Nick tells her she has to return — it's her story, her legacy. She pleads, “Why can't we be together?!” They share a kiss, but Nick pulls away. “We can't do this,” he says. It's the night of the big Christmas ball. Ella and Nick dance and confess their feelings. Then, right as Rex walks in with his fiancée, the Christmas tree begins to disappear — reality is collapsing. They rush to the boat. Nick gives Ella an ornament to remember him by, and they share one last hug and a soft forehead kiss before she sets sail.As she spots the comet streaking across the sky, Ella cries, “Why did you let me fall in love — but please, take me home!”It works. She's back in 1905. She bursts into the Christmas ball and tells her father she refuses to marry the man he chose. He insists, “But he's come all this way!” When Rex is introduced… it's Nick.Back in 2025, her portrait has returned. Nick explains in voiceover that as Ella was sailing off, he realized if Rex wasn't going to go back, he could. Knowing Rex had no family, he took his place — no questions asked. They kiss, and above them, the Christmas Comet twinkles once more. It's time to Haul out the Halloween!Scott from Christmas Morning joins Bran, Dan, and Brian to break down the latest movie in Hallmark's wildly popular Haul Out the Holly franchise.ABOUT HAUL OUT THE HALLOWEENNew, Halloween-obsessed neighbors inspire residents of Evergreen Lane to haul out their spookiest costumes and décor to become EverSCREAM Lane.AIR DATE & NETWORK FOR HAUL OUT THE HALLOWEENOctober 11, 2024 | Hallmark ChannelCAST & CREW OF HAUL OUT THE HALLOWEENLacey Chabert as EmilyWes Brown as JaredMelissa Peterman as PamelaEllen Travolta as Mary LouiseStephen Tobolowsky as NedKimberly J. Brown as LunaBRAN'S HAUL OUT THE HALLOWEEN SYNOPSISEvergreen Lane is the most festive street in America, and nothing is more festive than a wedding! Emily and Jared are the ones tying the knot — and even better, the Johnsons are gone! The wedding is beautiful, and everything seems perfect. While Emily and Jared are on their honeymoon, a new couple moves in and decorates big for Halloween — like, really big. The rest of the crew wonders if they should contact Jared, the head of the HOA, but decide to wait until he's back. When Jared finally sees the decorations, he's so shocked he literally drops Emily. He heads over to tell the new neighbors that all their lawn decorations have to go. “This is Evergreen Lane, not Everscream Lane!” But Jared is stunned to learn from Emily's parents that the “no other holiday decorations” rule was never actually added to the bylaws. We learn that Evergreen Lane used to go all out for Halloween, but after Emily's Gram Gram passed away, her parents thought she wouldn't want it anymore. Quite the opposite — Emily insists it's time to bring the spooky fun back, because that's exactly what Gram Gram would've wanted. The committee gathers to gossip about the “weird new neighbors,” right as they walk in — Luna and Marvin. Turns out Luna really is a witch… in a play!Emily and Jared soon announce that Everscream Lane is officially a go! Events are planned, and every house has one week to come up with a Halloween display. Everyone's in — but Luna and Marvin propose one more idea: a spooky alley to raise money for the children's hospital. It's approved, as long as it's not too spooky.Jared surprises Emily by saying he doesn't want to do a couple's costume this year — and that's a little scary for her. What's scary for Jared? Emily's mom might be dating Ned! Things come to a head when Jared lashes out at Ned during the pumpkin decorating competition — even throwing Ned's pumpkin to the ground… while local TV cameras are rolling.Jared's put on leave from the HOA until he makes things right with Ned — which he does. All is well again, just in time for the Halloween cookie competition (complete with ugly Halloween sweaters). To Pamela's shock, Emily's cookies win!Emily decides to publish a children's book inspired by Evergreen Lane. Then, big news — the local news channel is coming back to cover the Lane on Halloween night! Everything is perfect. After briefly appearing as “Chaddy Kruger” — a Chad Kroeger/Freddy Krueger mashup costume — Jared realizes he's a married man now and rejoins Emily for a team costume.Everscream Lane is a huge success, and the whole gang celebrates as Jared gets the news: he's been accepted into the Norwegian Santa School! Watch on Philo! - Philo.tv/DTHPaul tells Lori that the script is off to a really good start. Thank god! They start giving her some tips and she's so happy! It's 2 hours until the wedding ceremony and Rob and Donna are in the pool chillin cuz Paul said he's handling everything. Kerry and her girls are bummed that the trip is coming to an end. Paige has her phone number bracelet ready to go in case she bumps into Tyler again, but I'm sure she won't. Gail and Alicia are preparing for the last day. Gail wants to come up with a fun way of thank Alicia for getting her out of her comfort zone before they leave. Rob is getting ready for the ceremony and he rolls out a red carpet and it's wrinkly AF and that's why I love Rob. True to her word, Paige is doing Donna's makeup for the wedding. Gail finds Wes Brown getting ready for his cocktail tasting and pitches an idea - at the next Carol-oke, she wants to sing jingle bells with an original Christmas song. Of course, Wes has his guitar ready to go help. She's like here's what I have so far….dashing through the snow….ok so I have nothing. Wes is being so patient and they're gonna work it out great. It's wedding time. Donna is in her dress and it's real nice. Most people are in their Christmas pjs. Of course the Vaneer family show up in dresses. Ben, Kim, and Andrew are there. Drew is the best man. But who will be the maid of honor??? Nikki DeLoach obviously. The gym connection is real. And Tyler Hynes is gonna step in as daddy and walk her down the aisle. It's magical. They've FaceTime'd in their family. Paul crushes the ceremony. He asks if anyone objects, and Ben does a bit. Alicia gets a note from Gail to meet her at Carol-oke. She shows up and Gail goes up there and sings her song and crushes it! Alicia and Gail sing jingle bells. Everyone's giving them high fives including this kid dressed like the grinch that they ignore. Back to the wedding, they exchange their vows. Big cries. My guy jacked Rob crushed it. They kiss. Woohooooo! Lori gets a text from Jonathan Bennett. She gets down there and Andrew and Taylor Cole are there, acting out her screenplay! They're just playing around and giving pointers to the script. It's a dream come true. So Alicia and Gail show up for dinner, dresses with tiaras, ready to celebrate their birthdays. Get outta here Nate. But then I find out they've been celebrating their birthdays all year. I don't think it's their birthday either. But it's their 60th and they have a lovely dinner. And Gail gives Alicia a teacup just like her grandma used to have. She starts to cry. She says at first, she wasn't happy to be turning 60 but now she realizes what a gift it is to even get to 60. I love them so much. Kerry and her daughters are up on the top of the ship playing ball. Apparently Paige played college ball at Yale. Suddenly Tyler and Ben walk up and Kerry, the ultimate momma wingmen, calls them over and invites them to play. Paige gives Tyler her bracelet. And they have a moment. I think it's gonna work out between them. The episode ends at the Christmas ball on the final night. Everyone is super dressed up. All of our cruisers talk about how amazing the cruise was and they can't wait for next year.

Watch on Philo! - Philo.tv/DTHThe episode starts with cruisers talking about who they are most existed to see - Tyler Hynes, Taylor Cole, Jonathan Bennett, everyone! With little clips of what's to come this season. Lots of hugging. Lots of crying. We meet Paige, Alexandrea and their mom Kerry. The Vermeer family. Mom cries when talking about how excited she is to go on this cruise. Alexandra is the daughter in law but she feels like they're the family she's always wanted and both Alexandrea and Paige talk about how much momma Kerry has done for them. They show up at the cruise and are wearing matching Vermeer Girls sweatshirt. They're blown away by all the decorations. The room though? Tiny. It's a twin bed with a single bed over top. And they immediately get to work on decorating their door. That's a big deal for cruisers. We then meet Rob & Donna - they've been together for 9 years. Rob is freakin jacked. He broke both of her ribs after trying to pop her back at the gym. And that's true love. They have a bunch of hallmark actor ornaments in their tree. She loves Paul Campbell and he loves Nikki DeLoach. They get on board and immediately bump into Jonathan Bennet and he's just wheeling and dealing like Jonathan Bennet is one to do.,We then meet Carol, Cathy, and Nate who is celebrating his 16th birthday on the cruise and he is pumped. Nate is there with his two grandmas. And he's a bit of a celeb because he posted on the cruise Facebook group that it's his birthday. We then meet Lori and her sister. They live in separate states so they're so excited to go on this cruise. Lori is a fellow Christmas crazy and is excited to decorate their room. The Veneer family are back and momma Kerry talks about how she's happily married and she knows Wes Brown is happily married, but she has been given a hall pass in case Wes is interested. She calls it her hallmark pass. My guy Rob is gonna propose to Donna and is hoping they can get married on the cruise! Night 1 comes and it's time for the Christmas tree lighting on top of the ship. We then meet Alice and Gail. Best friends since 10th grade, 46 years ago. And they are our black friends. They're excited to meet Tyler Hynes. And Alicia is gonna try to get Gail to get out of her comfort zone. So everyone's up on top of the ship. JB comes out and does his thing. Tyler Hynes comes on stage in a bath robe. It's a whole thing. Paige is very into him and she thinks they would hit it off really well. She yells at him to take it off. While momma Kerry is just going nuts over Wes Brown. We find out Paige has some news she has to tell her mom - she's moving out of Texas. But she's nervous .Victoria tells her sister Lora she's pregnant right after Lora gets them both champagne. Rob and Donna get a picture with Erin Cahill and of course she's just the sweetest. They talk to her for a bit. We find out that Donna had to have brain surgery last holiday season. So they're both really excited to be there. And he's trying to find the right time to propose to her. But not while Erin Cahill is there. It's time for Carol-oke. Gail and Alicia show up. Alicia signs them up. Gail is pissed. She does not get to that stage and Alicia shames her from the stage. We get Gail in a confessional having to psychoanalyze why she doesn't wanna get out of her comfort zone. The sisters show up for trivia, hosted by Nikki DeLoach and Andrew Walker. And Andrew is just hugging everyone. And these sisters suck at trivia. And then there's the boot shot with Tyler Hynes. It's madness. Paige is pumped. But then Wes Brown walks in and Kerry is pumped. They hug. And Paige says “I've been told to call you step-dad”. And then Kerry says it …. You're my hallmark pass. Wes is just so chill. JB is also there and Paige is like can you give Tyler Hynes my number? And he's like I can do that. And I'm weirdly invested in this. Nate has lost his grandmas. So he's going around and asking “has anyone seen some grandmas?”. Turns out they're hiding becuase they're annoyed by Nate. Turns out his birthday isn't even today, it's December 10th. Fricken liar. So Rob goes into the gym and Paul Campbell is there. They have matching black tanks. So he tells him that he's gonna propose and wants to get married on the ship. Paul is like hey I can officiate your wedding here. He pulls Andrew walker in. Rob is like oh boy. Now I really need to ask her.
