What in the world is happening right now—and what will happen in the end times to come? This past weekend, we continued learning more about the book of Daniel, specifically Daniel chapter 10. Pastor Jim talked about why God's response to Daniel's prayer came 21 days after Daniel prayed, how knowing that should impact our prayers today, and the truth that God always hears and answers our prayers!As we see time and again throughout the book of Daniel, we are living in the last days of this dispensation here on earth. Daniel chapter 9 splits into two parts. First, we read about Daniel's prayer for his people. He steps into the position of intercessor for the Jewish people, asking God for His mercy despite Israel's sins. Pastor Jim recently returned from a trip to Israel, and took some time this weekend to talk about all that he has been learning, in particular about the war we see mentioned over in Ezekiel chapters 38–39. This war is different from Armageddon, for many of the characteristics the Bible describes about each war don't align. Tonight we are down a few people for various reasons and Bel is hanging on by a thread because he managed to schedule his Covid booster on Friday.  We start off with a discussion of the Final Fantasy XIV Endwalker delay and how in theory we would have all been playing the game in another world.  In news we never thought we would cover, Fallen Earth has come back from the dead and is actually better than any of our memories.  From there we discuss Guardians of the Galaxy, that game we all thought would be another Avengers Flop but has apparently turned out to be pretty dang good.  Bel talks a bit about the Outriders New Horizon patch and the changes it made ot the game including a full transmog system.  Finally Tam discusses his experiences with Star Citizen and how it is way more of a fleshed out game than he ever expected at this point.  Additionally we talk about the free trial that is going on right now. Day three at the Game Developer's Conference. Mark Jacobs from EA Mythic granted an excellent interview to VirginWorlds today. We started with no real agenda and ended up with some fantastic insight into EA Mythic and Warhammer Online. Afterwards, I spent some quality time with Monty Sharma from Vivox who showed me the latest and greatest in MMO voice communication. Colin Dwan and Lee Hammock from Icarus Studios took me on a tour of Fallen Earth, the post-apocalyptic action-MMO. The day was wrapped up neatly by a panel populated by the kings of the MMO world.
