This week, we're sharing an interview with Garret Felber, author of the book A Continuous Struggle: The Revolutionary Life of Martin Sostre, out May 5 from AK Press. Garret speaks about the life of Martin Soster, famed jailhouse lawyer who successfully won cases related to the constitutional rights of prisoners, was politicized in prison by the Nation of Islam in the 1950's, ran radical Afro-centric bookstores in Buffalo NY to radicalize the youth, embracing anarchism during his time imprisoned on a frame up during which he was a celebrated political prisoner resisting cavity searches through the courts, went on to organize after his release for tenants rights and rehabilitating disused buildings for community centers and helping run a childcare. Sostre was a mentor to Lorenzo Komb'oa-Ervin and Ashanti Alston and laid important foundations for modern Black Anarchism in the US. I Samuel 30: 1 And it came to pass, when David and his men were come to Ziklag on the third day, that the Amalekites had invaded the south, and Ziklag, and smitten Ziklag, and burned it with fire; 2 And had taken the women captives, that were therein: they slew not any, either great or small, but carried them away, and went on their way. 3 So David and his men came to the city, and, behold, it was burned with fire; and their wives, and their sons, and their daughters, were taken captives. 4 Then David and the people that were with him lifted up their voice and wept, until they had no more power to weep. 5 And David's two wives were taken captives, Ahinoam the Jezreelitess, and Abigail the wife of Nabal the Carmelite.

In this powerful sermon, I Will Not Leave You Orphans, Ps. Morgan explores the orphan spirit—a deep-seated sense of rejection, abandonment, and performance-based identity that stems from wounds, particularly from father figures. He explains that many people, despite knowing the right thing to do, remain stuck in destructive cycles because their core beliefs have been shaped by pain. This orphan spirit convinces individuals they must earn love, that they are unworthy of acceptance, and that they are ultimately alone. Through the lens of John 14:15-18, where Jesus promises not to leave His followers as orphans, Ps. Morgan emphasizes that healing begins when we replace these false beliefs with the truth of our identity as God's children.

About my Guest Rob Wolf:Robert Wolf M.D., grew up as the only child of Ervin and Judit Wolf. In "Not a Real Enemy," Robert shares his family saga-and the forgotten history of the nearly half million Hungarian Jews who were deported and killed during the Holocaust-through an epic and inspiring tale of daring escapes, terrifying oppression, tragedy, and triumph. #holocaust #hangry #Auschwitz================All Episodes can be found at https://www.podpage.com/speaking-podcast/ All about Roy / Brain Gym & Virtual Assistants at https://roycoughlan.com/ ------------------ What we Discussed: 00:15 Who is Rob Wolf01:15 Does he Experience Censorship04:40 Polish got a Raw deal in WW207:15 Liberland09:35 Auschwitz in Poland12:50 October 7th In Israel14:30 The Olympics is where the Whole World becomes Unified15:35 Did Hitler go to Argentina?17:30 The Falkans & Antartica19:20 THe History of the Book25:45 Did they talk about the woar during his upbringing28:20 How does his family react to his book and mission30:40 His Dads Escape37:00 Hatred for the Germans was a Mistake38:30 His Book has achieved a lot of Awards39:55 Despite the Trauma they did not share stories with the ChildrenHow to Contact Rob Wolf: https://robertjwolfmd.com/https://www.facebook.com/notarealenemyhttps://x.com/RobertJWolfMDhttps://www.youtube.com/robertjwolfmdhttps://www.instagram.com/RobertJWolfMDhttps://www.linkedin.com/in/robert-j-wolf-md/------------------All about Roy / Brain Gym & Virtual Assistants at https://roycoughlan.com/ ___________________

Morgan emphasizes that healing begins when we replace these false beliefs with the truth of our identity as God's children. He traces the orphan spirit's generational impact, showing how it manifests in biblical figures like Joseph, David, and Jacob, as well as in our own lives through insecurity, self-sabotage, and relational dysfunction. Ps. Morgan shares his personal journey of overcoming father wounds, explaining that true freedom doesn't come from trying harder or performing better but from fully surrendering to Christ. By recognizing the wound, restoring relationships, receiving God's love, and breaking generational cycles, we can move from an orphan mindset to sonship, embracing the wholeness and belonging that only God provides.

Offense is one of the greatest tests we will ever face. It comes to all of us, and it often comes when we least expect it—from family, from friends, from those in authority over us, and sometimes, even from God Himself. Offense is inevitable, but how we respond to it is what determines our future. Some people allow offense to take root in their hearts, and it poisons their destiny. Others choose to trust God, to forgive, and to keep moving forward, and those are the ones who see His hand guide them into greatness. In this thought-provoking sermon, Ps. Morgan explores the lives and motivations of three men in the Bible—Joseph, David, and Judas. All three were chosen by God. All three were tested with offense. But only two of them passed the test, and only two of them fulfilled their destiny. The third allowed offense to consume him, and it destroyed him. All three stories provide insight and a challenge for all of us: How am I responding to offense? Am I letting it shape me into the person God has called me to be? Or am I allowing it to harden my heart and push me away from my purpose? Join us for this thought-provoking sermon as we delve into the depths of Three Offenses, Three Responses, Three Futures.

Not A Real Enemy – Robert Wolf, MD Throughout history, there are stories that shake us to our core—stories of unimaginable loss, but also of resilience, courage, and the indomitable will to survive. Today, we're bringing you one such story—one that remains largely untold but is as poignant and relevant as ever. It's a journey through the horrors of the Holocaust, the iron grip of communism, and the enduring spirit of one man and his family. This is a story of survival against all odds, a testament to the strength of the human spirit, and a tribute to those who never had the chance to share their voices. It's an honor to welcome Dr. Robert Wolf, the author of “Not a Real Enemy: The True Story of a Jewish Man's Fight for Freedom,”, a deeply personal and compelling narrative that takes us from the streets of Hungary to the death camps of Auschwitz and beyond. Dr. Robert Wolf is a man with a profound personal connection to one of the darkest chapters in human history. His book, “Not a Real Enemy: The True Story of a Jewish Man's Fight for Freedom,” tells the harrowing yet inspiring story of his father, Ervin Wolf, who survived the Holocaust not once - but twice, only to face the oppressive grip of communism in post-war Hungary. Through meticulous research and heartfelt storytelling, Robert brings to life the struggles, victories, and heartbreaks of his family's journey from persecution to freedom. His book not only honors the memory of his grandparents, Joseph and Kamilla Wolf, who perished at Auschwitz, but also serves as a powerful reminder of the resilience and hope that carried survivors forward. Today, we'll dive into this incredible story and uncover the lessons it holds for us all.Your book, “Not a Real Enemy,” is both a tribute and a deeply personal journey. What was the emotional process like for you as you uncovered and told your family's story? Your father, Ervin, displayed remarkable resilience, escaping the Nazis twice and later the communists. What do you believe was the driving force behind his will to survive and fight for freedom? The Holocaust has been widely documented, yet the story of the Jewish community in Győr, Hungary, remains relatively unknown. Why do you think this chapter of history has received so little attention?Survival stories often come with moments of impossible choices. Can you share some of the key decisions your father had to make, and how they shaped the course of his life? You weave together historical context and personal narrative almost seamlessly in the book. What were some of the challenges you faced in balancing historical accuracy with storytelling? How has your family's history influenced your own perspective on life and identity? Dr. Wolf, this has been so interesting. How can someone obtain a copy of your book? I take it is on Amazon? If someone has a question or would like more information or would like to invite you onto an interview such as this… how can they do that? How can someone get in touch with you? I'll put links to all of this in the show notes below!Folks, Dr. Robert Wolf's “Not a Real Enemy: The True Story of a Jewish Man's Fight for Freedom,” is more than just a personal story—it's a powerful testament to the resilience of the human spirit in the face of unimaginable darkness. As we reflect on his family's journey, may we be reminded of the importance of...
