In 1980, The Roswell Incident by Charles Berlitz and William Moore was published that told the sensationalized story of a forgotten 1947 report by the U.S. Army Air Forces that they recovered a “flying disk” on a ranch in New Mexico, north of Roswell Army Air Field. This was also the year of the Rendlesham Forest Incident, which is sometimes referred to as “Britain's Roswell” (December 26-28), and the Cash-Landrum Incident (December 29). The Cash-Landrum Incident is significant because the witnesses, Betty Cash, Vickie Landrum, and her grandson, Colby Landrum, showed symptoms of what seemed like radiation poisoning after they reportedly saw a large craft, seemingly in distress, being escorted by as many as 23 Chinook helicopters. While all of the above cases continue to be discussed and continue to fascinate, a case that got a lot of attention that same year has been largely forgotten. It is interesting to note that it also involved what seemed to be the effects of radiation on the witnesses prior to the Cash-Landrum incident. In the September 11, 1980, Anderson, South Carolina, Daily Mail, there is an article (page 8 of the pdf) by Louise Ervin headlined “Jerry McAlister saw ‘something strange.'” Ervin, begins her article asking, “Did a vehicle from another world pay a visit to the Broadway lake area this morning?” According to her, “Jerry McAlister of Parnell Road” wasn't sure, but was “positive he saw something strange in his back yard” at 4:20 that morning, and since then, “the news media has beaten a path to his door.” Read more →Become a supporter of this podcast: https://www.spreaker.com/podcast/podcast-ufo--5922140/support.

“Stop Trying to Fix Your Heart” is a powerful, prophetic invitation to the church to the true and full freedom Jesus gave His life for us to have. In a time where the Holy Spirit is confronting compromise in the Church, this message calls us back to full surrender. God doesn't ask us to repair our broken hearts—He offers to give us new ones. Through the stories of David, Samson, and our own struggles with performance, father wounds, and false healing, this message brings clarity and hope: you don't have to live divided. You don't have to carry what God wants to crucify. If you've been stuck, striving, or managing brokenness on your own, get ready for breakthrough. Conviction isn't condemnation—it's God clearing the way for transformation. When we surrender fully, He creates something brand new.

In this episode, we delve into the harrowing incident that shook the Ervin family to its core. The attempted murder involving the Ervin family took place in Snellville, Georgia and centered around the actions of two brothers, Cameron and Christopher Ervin. The brothers spiked their parents' drinks with Xanax, attempted to blow up their house, and then carried out a brutal attack on their parents, leaving the community in shock. The motive behind this shocking act was believed to be linked to long-standing familial tension, drug abuse, and possible mental health issues faced by the brothers.———————————————------------------------------------

Nobody wakes up one day and thinks it's a good day to ruin their lives. Ps. Jenny uses an analogy of a problem with bees in their home to show how if you compromise, justify, and take short cuts in life, it can cause big problems later. She shows how two great men in the Bible, Samson and King Saul, fell, not in a great battle, but because of the unwillingness to deal with the sin in their hearts.

A tartalomból: 00.00 Könyvek, amiket ajánlunk: Eward Stachura - Szekercelárma, Macuie Maszasi - A vulkán lábánál, David Graeber & David Wengrow - Mindenek hajnala, Karl Ove Knausgård - A harmadik birodalom, Andrea Bajani - Tíz év, Neigge Sinno - Nyomorult tigris 09:15 És akkor az irodalomterápia. What happens when a physician becomes the keeper of history? In this episode, we dive into the powerful intersection of family legacy and historical preservation with Dr. Rob Wolf. While maintaining his medical career, Dr. Wolf embraced an equally vital role—transforming his father's autobiography into the critically acclaimed book "Not a Real Enemy." This cloak-and-dagger adventure follows his father Ervin's journey through antisemitism, danger, and ultimately hope, during the Holocaust and the Hungarian Revolution of 1956. While Rob grew up aware of his father's story, it wasn't until after his mother's passing that he fully committed to sharing this "fantastic and inspiring story" with the world. This week, we're sharing an interview with Garret Felber, author of the book A Continuous Struggle: The Revolutionary Life of Martin Sostre, out May 5 from AK Press. Garret speaks about the life of Martin Soster, famed jailhouse lawyer who successfully won cases related to the constitutional rights of prisoners, was politicized in prison by the Nation of Islam in the 1950's, ran radical Afro-centric bookstores in Buffalo NY to radicalize the youth, embracing anarchism during his time imprisoned on a frame up during which he was a celebrated political prisoner resisting cavity searches through the courts, went on to organize after his release for tenants rights and rehabilitating disused buildings for community centers and helping run a childcare. Sostre was a mentor to Lorenzo Komb'oa-Ervin and Ashanti Alston and laid important foundations for modern Black Anarchism in the US. In “Knowing God" Pastor Morgan brings a powerful message that challenges common misconceptions about God's nature—shifting the focus from religion and rules to relationship and restoration. Drawing from personal testimony and biblical examples, this sermon reveals how—from Genesis through the Exodus, through the time of Jesus—God consistently pursues connection before correction, and love before law. Whether you've known God for years or are just beginning your search, this message invites you to experience the Father's heart and discover that God isn't looking for performance—He's looking for you.

In this powerful sermon, I Will Not Leave You Orphans, Ps. Morgan explores the orphan spirit—a deep-seated sense of rejection, abandonment, and performance-based identity that stems from wounds, particularly from father figures. He explains that many people, despite knowing the right thing to do, remain stuck in destructive cycles because their core beliefs have been shaped by pain. This orphan spirit convinces individuals they must earn love, that they are unworthy of acceptance, and that they are ultimately alone. Through the lens of John 14:15-18, where Jesus promises not to leave His followers as orphans, Ps. Morgan emphasizes that healing begins when we replace these false beliefs with the truth of our identity as God's children.
About my Guest Rob Wolf:Robert Wolf M.D., grew up as the only child of Ervin and Judit Wolf. Their stories of their escape from communist Hungary, and his father's tragic history of escaping the Nazis twice but having his own parents deported to Auschwitz, inspired Robert to document his parents' tales and share those stories with Jewish groups and others throughout the United States. In "Not a Real Enemy," Robert shares his family saga-and the forgotten history of the nearly half million Hungarian Jews who were deported and killed during the Holocaust-through an epic and inspiring tale of daring escapes, terrifying oppression, tragedy, and triumph. #holocaust #hangry #Auschwitz================All Episodes can be found at https://www.podpage.com/speaking-podcast/ All about Roy / Brain Gym & Virtual Assistants at https://roycoughlan.com/ ------------------ What we Discussed: 00:15 Who is Rob Wolf01:15 Does he Experience Censorship04:40 Polish got a Raw deal in WW207:15 Liberland09:35 Auschwitz in Poland12:50 October 7th In Israel14:30 The Olympics is where the Whole World becomes Unified15:35 Did Hitler go to Argentina?17:30 The Falkans & Antartica19:20 THe History of the Book25:45 Did they talk about the woar during his upbringing28:20 How does his family react to his book and mission30:40 His Dads Escape37:00 Hatred for the Germans was a Mistake38:30 His Book has achieved a lot of Awards39:55 Despite the Trauma they did not share stories with the ChildrenHow to Contact Rob Wolf: https://robertjwolfmd.com/https://www.facebook.com/notarealenemyhttps://x.com/RobertJWolfMDhttps://www.youtube.com/robertjwolfmdhttps://www.instagram.com/RobertJWolfMDhttps://www.linkedin.com/in/robert-j-wolf-md/------------------All about Roy / Brain Gym & Virtual Assistants at https://roycoughlan.com/ ___________________

After meeting Nicole at AfroTech, he took the time to build trust and vet her before asking her to be his mentor—an example of how genuine connections can lead to powerful relationships. The conversation dives deep into how Ervin navigates imposter syndrome, especially as one of the few Black professionals in many cybersecurity spaces, and how he channels that experience into creating awareness content on social media and mentoring others as a way of giving back tothe community.Ervin describes why cybersecurity is a field he loves—it keeps him on the edge of his seat and demands that he always stay ready. He traces the orphan spirit's generational impact, showing how it manifests in biblical figures like Joseph, David, and Jacob, as well as in our own lives through insecurity, self-sabotage, and relational dysfunction. Ps. Morgan shares his personal journey of overcoming father wounds, explaining that true freedom doesn't come from trying harder or performing better but from fully surrendering to Christ. By recognizing the wound, restoring relationships, receiving God's love, and breaking generational cycles, we can move from an orphan mindset to sonship, embracing the wholeness and belonging that only God provides.
Disappointment and trials are something that is a part of life that none of us can escape. Jesus says we will have many sorrows and trials but to take heart because He has overcome the world! In this message, Ps. Jenny will talk about how when Jesus is involved in our trials, setbacks and disappointments, there is always a resurrection story in the making.
Not A Real Enemy – Robert Wolf, MD Throughout history, there are stories that shake us to our core—stories of unimaginable loss, but also of resilience, courage, and the indomitable will to survive. Today, we're bringing you one such story—one that remains largely untold but is as poignant and relevant as ever. It's a journey through the horrors of the Holocaust, the iron grip of communism, and the enduring spirit of one man and his family. This is a story of survival against all odds, a testament to the strength of the human spirit, and a tribute to those who never had the chance to share their voices. It's an honor to welcome Dr. Robert Wolf, the author of “Not a Real Enemy: The True Story of a Jewish Man's Fight for Freedom,”, a deeply personal and compelling narrative that takes us from the streets of Hungary to the death camps of Auschwitz and beyond. Dr. Robert Wolf is a man with a profound personal connection to one of the darkest chapters in human history. His book, “Not a Real Enemy: The True Story of a Jewish Man's Fight for Freedom,” tells the harrowing yet inspiring story of his father, Ervin Wolf, who survived the Holocaust not once - but twice, only to face the oppressive grip of communism in post-war Hungary. Through meticulous research and heartfelt storytelling, Robert brings to life the struggles, victories, and heartbreaks of his family's journey from persecution to freedom. His book not only honors the memory of his grandparents, Joseph and Kamilla Wolf, who perished at Auschwitz, but also serves as a powerful reminder of the resilience and hope that carried survivors forward. Today, we'll dive into this incredible story and uncover the lessons it holds for us all.Your book, “Not a Real Enemy,” is both a tribute and a deeply personal journey. What was the emotional process like for you as you uncovered and told your family's story? Your father, Ervin, displayed remarkable resilience, escaping the Nazis twice and later the communists. What do you believe was the driving force behind his will to survive and fight for freedom? The Holocaust has been widely documented, yet the story of the Jewish community in Győr, Hungary, remains relatively unknown. Why do you think this chapter of history has received so little attention?Survival stories often come with moments of impossible choices. Can you share some of the key decisions your father had to make, and how they shaped the course of his life? You weave together historical context and personal narrative almost seamlessly in the book. What were some of the challenges you faced in balancing historical accuracy with storytelling? How has your family's history influenced your own perspective on life and identity? Dr. Wolf, this has been so interesting. How can someone obtain a copy of your book? I take it is on Amazon? If someone has a question or would like more information or would like to invite you onto an interview such as this… how can they do that? How can someone get in touch with you? I'll put links to all of this in the show notes below!Folks, Dr. Robert Wolf's “Not a Real Enemy: The True Story of a Jewish Man's Fight for Freedom,” is more than just a personal story—it's a powerful testament to the resilience of the human spirit in the face of unimaginable darkness. As we reflect on his family's journey, may we be reminded of the importance of...
