About Mark: I am a Florida native, who enjoys adventure, growing tropical fruit and adding value to the lives of others. I worked in critical care for 15 years. I dabbled in pro wrestling for a season, learning under Steve Kerr at Florida Championship Wrestling. 2019 I quit my nursing job to start our own unique legal services business: Noble Notary & Legal Document Preparers and digital download site (ladybirddeed.net) that offers ladybird deed preparation. Which continues to thrive and grow. In 2022 alongside my wife of 15 year wrote the book "A Golden Pen" about our business model which is low overhead, low inventory, high demand, and high mark-up. We released a follow up book at the end of January 2023 about remote online notarization called "A Digital Pen" as well as run Noble Notary Signing Service Agency, and extension of our legal document service that hires mobile notaries across the state of Florida. We began coaching aspiring entrepreneurs to replicate our methods, eventually creating a course called Notary Prosperity Academy. We place an emphasis on letting profits drive you into new growth and expansion by adding additional "side-hustle" services to your business plan. I have been on several interviews with popular YouTube influencers, live radio, podcasts like The Chris Voss Show, and more... telling our story and offering business advice and encouragement on my own social medial channels & podcast as well. As a Christian, I want to enrich the lives of as many others as I can by encouraging people to grow with consistency and by taking actionable steps, even if they are just baby steps! Hear the wild stories and the highlights of the career of a "Wild Eyed Southern Boy" twitter.com/wrestlingtwt instagram.com/wrestlingtwt Professional wrestling career Early career (1982–1990) Smothers was from Springfield, TN. He graduated from Springfield High School, where he played football, golf, and wrestled. Smothers was the first person in Springfield High School history to go to the state championship in wrestling. Smothers started his career in the Memphis promotion on Saturday morning TV. Steve Armstrong and Tracy Smothers started teaming as The Wild-Eyed Southern Boys in Florida Championship Wrestling in 1987 where they feuded with The New Breed. They moved on to Southeast Championship Wrestling where they feuded with The Stud Stable. In 1989, he won the CWF Tag Team Championship in the newly renamed Continental Wrestling Federation. While in Continental, Smothers wrestled an unmuzzled bear that was announced as 550 lbs; Tracy took the bear to the mat several times. The bear, incapable of understanding the situation, thought they were playing.[2] World Championship Wrestling (1990–1992) Smothers and Armstrong competed in World Championship Wrestling for a number of years and were known as the Southern Boys and later the Young Pistols upon turning heel.[3] Smothers and Armstrong had a long feud with The Fabulous Freebirds (Michael Hayes and Jimmy Garvin).[3] Smothers' last major appearance for WCW was on January 21, 1992 at Clash of the Champions XVIII, as he teamed with Terry Taylor in a loss to Marcus Alexander Bagwell and Brian Pillman.[3] Smoky Mountain Wrestling (1992–1995) Smothers achieved his greatest singles success in Jim Cornette's Smoky Mountain Wrestling promotion which was based out of Knoxville, Tennessee. Between 1992 and 1995, "The Wild Eyed Southern Boy", competed as a babyface for SMW and won the Heavyweight title twice, the tag team titles once (with "Dirty White Boy" Tony Anthony, known as the "T.H.U.G.'S"), and the "Beat the Champ" TV title on three separate occasions. Smothers had notable feuds during this time against "Prime Time" Brian Lee, Chris Candido, Tony Anthony, The Heavenly Bodies, and The Gangstas. He also competed as a heel in the United States Wrestling Association during the SMW vs. USWA feud in 1995. World Wrestling Federation (1996–1997) In the summer of 1996, Smothers began wrestling in the WWF as Freddie Joe Floyd, a babyface jobber to various up and comers, most notably Hunter Hearst-Helmsley and Stone Cold Steve Austin.[4] His only meaningful win under the Floyd gimmick was an upset of Justin "Hawk" Bradshaw in his debut, which resulted in Bradshaw beating Floyd in a subsequent rematch.[4] He also scored a count out win over Triple H, thanks to Mr. Perfect distracting Helmsley.[4] His entire gimmick was a rib on Gerald Brisco and Jack Brisco, as they both came from Bowlegs, Oklahoma (the same home town Freddie Joe Floyd was billed as being from).[4] Jack Brisco’s real name is Fred Joe Brisco, and Gerald’s full name is Floyd Gerald Brisco. Extreme Championship Wrestling (1997–1999) Later in his career he joined Extreme Championship Wrestling as "The Main Man" Tracy Smothers. He was often mocked by the crowd with chants of "Freddy Joe!!" regarding his WWF stint and was most notably remembered for doing a goofy dance, that ECW announcer Joey Styles often commented on by saying "what the hell is with that awful dance."
If you've heard or Rob Terry before, then you would be familiar with his work from his time with IMPACT! Wrestling. Terry was not only apart of The British Invasion with Doug Williams and current NWA Worlds Heavyweight Champion Brutus Magnus (aka Nick Aldis). Once the stable dissolved he later teamed then feuded with Robbie E. (currently Rob Stone in WWE NXT). Now, the Welsh grappler not only works as a firefighter but at the time of film Generation Iron: Natty 4 Life, was the defending Natural Olympia champion in the heavyweight division. Terry, who stands 6'4" and walks around at over 260 lbs is a life-long natural bodybuilder. Terry, who had a medical condition at the age of 8 years old would have died from any attempt at becoming an enhanced athlete, although you would never guess from looking at him. Big Rob, as he was known in Florida Championship Wrestling used to be offended by people calling him a, "fake natty," but Terry has the physical scars to prove just why he couldn't take anything that isn't over the counter. In fact, not only does he participate in WADA urine testing, but also willfully submits to blood tests at his own expense. Generation Iron: Natty 4 Life, follows the journey of natural competitors as Terry competes against Adrian Pietrariu and Philip Ricardo Jr. tries to repeat his previous year's victory at the Natural Olympia. The documentary also features fan favorites Kai Greene and the, “controversial” figure, former American Gladiator, Mike O’Hearn. Over the years, people have accused O’Hearn of being a, “fake natty,” which he also addresses in the documentary. We spoke with Terry about Generation Iron: Natty 4 Life, and could competitors be considered natural if they were ever enhanced at one point in time? There are only a handful of men that have successfully made the leap from the gridiron to the squared circle of the professional wrestling world. My next guest hails from Tampa Florida. His parents Eltore and Margaret migrated from the countries of Jamaica & Montserratian. He attended Iowa from 2004-2008. Unfortunately, he suffered numerous injuries during his college career that cut his playing time short. However, He didn’t let those shortcomings define his sports career. He left Iowa and later became a powerlifter and a USA Powerlifting champion. Big E parlayed that powerlifting career into a booming wrestling career. He signed with WWE in 2009 and was assigned to its developmental brand Florida Championship Wrestling. That stint has turned into a wrestling career and now he 1/3 of WWE’s “New Day” tag team wrestling group. Ladies & Gentlemen.... Ettore “Big E/Big E Langston” Ewen

"Mike Kruel". Mike had a very interesting run in the pro wrestling world. From different independents like Ohio Valley Wrestling where he was Heavyweight Champion to Florida Championship Wrestling eventually leading up to the WWE. This is for the wrestling fans, especially if you are a fan of the WWF in the 80's. His father wrestled as well under the name "The Bodyguard for Hire" whom we also speak about. Mike tells stories about meeting Vince Mcmahon, Captain Lou Albano, Jimmy Snuka and even Greg "The Hammer" Valentine staying over his house, wrestling Tito Santana and even wrestling Chris Benoit just a few months before the murder/suicide. Mike has an extremely interesting wrestling history. I hope you enjoy this very different episode. This was A LOT of fun to do.
