While I do agree that more money won't bring you more happiness, I challenge the idea that money can't buy you happiness.Let me explain why:in 2018 I was going to Mexico to go spend a day at an orphanage with children that had been saved from child sex trafficking. It was emotional and powerful to be present with these kids knowing what they had overcome and the abuse they had been through. While I was there I asked the owner of the non-profit how we could make the kids feel special. He said that they loved ice cream and so we bought $50 worth of ice cream and gave it to these kids that had been through some of the most cruel things in life. Watching them forget about their past and enjoy that ice cream was one of the most special moments of my life. It was in that moment that I realized for $50, I could buy myself happiness. Watching those kids be so happy with such a small thing after all they had been through made me realize that if it was only $50 to fill my heart with joy why couldn't I buy them icecream every week and feel that good everytime. That is when I truly experienced the impact that philanthropy could have and the power of mixing my skills as an entrepreneur to make money with the ability to do more good in the world. It is in these moments that I realized, the bigger I go, the more I can give. I need to #GoBigtoGiveBig.This movement is for the people that truly want to make a difference in the world and why we hope you will join us on our mission to redefine capitalism and choose to build a business that stops chasing income and starts chasing impact. Thanks,Randy MollandFounder & Chief Giving OfficerGoBigtoGiveBigOptiMatchAre you ready to stop struggling with high churn rates, decreased satisfaction, and financial losses due to poor matches in your business? Welcome to another engaging episode where we dive into the world of business with my buddy, Randy Molland. We had a fantastic conversation about the importance of integrating impact initiatives into business operations. We talked about how businesses can multiply their good deeds, benefit from referrals, and create long-term positive changes. This episode is packed with inspirational stories, valuable insights, and practical strategies. Let's get started! https://youtu.be/QoxQGJJ3Ar8 Introduction to Impact Initiatives In this episode, Randy and I discussed why it's crucial for businesses to include impact initiatives in their daily operations. We shared how doing good can create a ripple effect that benefits everyone involved. Randy told a heartwarming story about his friend who offered cheaper merchant processing and donated part of the profits to charity. This initiative not only helped businesses save money but also made a significant difference in the community. The Power of Referrals and Long-Term Impact Randy and I emphasized the power of referrals and the lasting impact they have when you integrate giving as a core value of your business. Referrals aren't just about getting more clients; they're about building trust and creating a community that believes in the same values. Randy's 30-Day Impact Sprint Program Randy introduced his 30-day impact sprint program, designed to help businesses launch impactful initiatives efficiently. This program includes charity partner vetting, creating impact initiatives, and developing marketing strategies—all within 30 days. Randy explained that having a clear plan and commitment can make a world of difference in how businesses execute their charitable activities. Law of Reciprocity and the Value of Giving We dived into the concept of the Law of Reciprocity, which is all about the impact of giving regardless of financial status. Both Randy and I shared personal stories about how small financial contributions can bring immense joy and satisfaction. Randy talked about how giving should be a part of your brand's ethos, which builds trust and loyalty among customers and employees. Shifting Business Motivations from Wealth to Impact In our discussion, Randy shared his personal journey from being driven by financial success to focusing on making an impact. The quote, "If you want to make a million dollars a year, build a business that does 2 million, give a million dollars away, and you'll be the happiest millionaire on the planet," really hit home. Randy's motivation shifted when he realized the joy and satisfaction that came from supporting causes he cared about, like helping children in sports. Consumer Behavior and Business Trends Randy and I explored how consumer behavior is changing. More people prefer and trust brands that give back to the community. We shared some eye-opening statistics: 80% remember a brand's name more when they talk about their impact. Consumers are 4.5 times more likely to refer a brand that emphasizes its impact. 91% of employees are happier if their employer talks about their impact. 78% will pay more for a brand known for giving. 95% of millennial females trust brands more that share their impact. These stats underline the significance of being a business that not only aims for profit but also focuses on giving back. Authenticity in Impact Initiatives We discussed the importance of authentic impact. Businesses worry about coming off as insincere or just using charity for marketing. Randy advised making impact a core value, not just an add-on. Building a brand culture around genuine impact helps in gaining customer trust and loyalty. Impact in the Buyer's Journey Impact initiatives can capture and retain customer attention at various touchpoints—social media, websites, sales calls, and email newsletters. We talked about how incorporating impact-related messages can make a huge difference, especially with millennial females, who are more likely to remain loyal and advocate for brands that share their impact stories. Resources from Randy Molland See the latest from Randy and the Go Big to Give Big team Listen to the Go Big to Give Big Podcast on Apple or Spotify Connect with Randy on LinkedIn and Facebook Conclusion This episode of Hustle and Flowchart with Randy Molland was truly enlightening. We explored the far-reaching benefits of weaving impact initiatives into business models. From boosting customer loyalty to building a happier workforce, the positive effects are clear. We hope our discussion inspires you to think about how your business can make a difference. Remember, even small steps towards giving can create a huge ripple effect. It is that time of year again for GIVE BIG WA.  Jarrelle Marshall Is the Executive Director of RECLAIM.Org. RECLAIM provides reintegration support that centers the mental, emotional, and relational health of individuals impacted by the criminal legal system and their loved ones to better prepare them for the return home. Everyone deserves care. Care and support services should be available and accessible to all individuals and families as they integrate back into their communities. Nancy Long is the Executive Director of 501 Commons. Give BIG is produced by 501 Commons, a nonprofit that advances the success of other nonprofits in the state. GiveBIG is an opportunity to get that great giving feeling and make our communities better for everyone. 501 Commons provides expertise to nonprofits through 30+ services, including a full range of management consulting; technology consulting (IT planning and database development); outsourced HR, accounting, IT infrastructure, and database management services; professional development and board training; and free advisory services. Nancy is highlighting Kat Taylor the Co-Founder and a Board Chair of Beneficial State Bank, a Community Development Financial Institution and certified B Corporation that offers beneficial banking to under-resourced communities. The bank aligns all of its activities with the fairness and environmental values that most bank customers hold thereby activating their agency and accountability over their banking. Kat and her husband Tom Steyer founded the bank in 2007 on the eve of the last financial crisis on the hunch that something was terribly wrong in the banking SYSTEM. Beneficial State has set out to prove that banking that achieves social justice and environmental well-being while also being financially resilient is just a better way to do banking. Kat served as CEO of the bank for eight years and currently co-chairs its board with Tom. Kat also works in service of regenerative agriculture, policy and legislative reform, media and narrative, and of course, philanthropy. Ever meet someone and instantly know you were going to be good friends? Well, today I can't wait to introduce you to one of those people for me — Randy Molland. (Shoutout to Laura Di Franco for the intro!) Randy is the founder of a movement called Go Big To Give Big — empowering visionary entrepreneurs to expand their impact and income through strategic philanthropy. Not ONLY has Randy made some amazing introductions to future guests coming on the show (including Markus Kaulius, Micah LaCerte, and Sir Darren Jacklin) but he's also shared concepts that have radically transformed my worldview. I can't WAIT for you to meet Randy and learn about his story. Here's a teaser of some of the things we talk about in today's episode: - How to use the “+2 Strategy” to transform your life (not hyperbole, this concept is changing everything for me and everyone I share it with… I'm redesigning big chunks of my life and business around this concept) - How to go bigger with your goals so you can give bigger with your profits… and why businesses with giving initiatives outperform companies that don't - What Randy learned from hiking 29,029 feet in 36 hours (the height of Mt. Everest) and how he spent $50 on ice cream to make a MASSIVE impact If you're someone who's passionate about making a difference in the world and becoming a transformed human in the process, this is an episode for you! Listen to this week's Left of Lansing "Friday Short." Right after its inexplicable decision to build a tunnel around the Line 5 oil pipeline in the Straits of Mackinac, the Michigan Public Service Commission granted DTE Energy's rate hike request totalling over $360 million.  Despite DTE being part of the reason why Michigan has the most expensive energy in the Midwest, and is also one of the least reliable states to provide energy to its citizens, DTE got its rate hike. It's business as usual where corporations' needs always come before the needs of the people. Teresa and Gina both have new books out. Teresa went on the Adam Carolla Show to promote her new book, “Making It Home,” but it kind of sort of didn't exactly come up. Gina picked Teresa up from the studio, and they had kabobs and discussed the swing and miss. They still love the Ace Man, despite his foibles. They discuss how Teresa's book is now the top new baseball book in America, which is crazy, since it began as a few pages she read to this audience's Patreon. Gina also recounts her awkward final appearance on Adam's show, where they did, indeed, discuss her book MY EXTRA MOM. Yes, there's self-promotional book talk all around, but it's also an emotional, revealing and fun look behind the scenes.

It's bipartisan so it just-must-be-good: the 419-0 vote in Congress to declassify Covid origins, yet the FigureHead hasn't been told whether or not to sign the Bill into Law. Yes, it would be nice to know the origin of the Covid Flu. But, if it came from the Chinese Lab, the best we could possibly get is Tony Fauci going to prison for violating the Presidential Order against U.S. Gain-of-Function Research with China, and that is a longshot. What we CAN control is the origin of the mRNA injections: WHEN did they decide to jam mRNA into us, WHY did they decide that since it clearly wasn't to stop a virus. WHO at Pfizer and Moderna knew the shots were harmful and deadly, WHO at the FDA and the CDC decided to cover that up. The 419-0 vote in Congress to declassify Covid origins is a great way to distract people from the real enemy: Pfizer and Moderna and the people who pimp for them. From Big Pharma to Big Banking: Meet the woman who was supposed to be running Risk Management at Silicon Valley Bank (the US Bank had been without a risk manager); do you think this lady was busy on other projects? Did President Trump predict this? What does God say? All of this is very simple in one key way:Proverbs 3:5-65 Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding;6 in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.NONE of this would have happened, had people just done that. Bank Panic! Is this Donald Trump prediction about to come true? SVB, First Republic Bank, Signature Bank, JPMorgan, Wells Fargo, Bank of America & Citigroup all losing HUGE. It was the worst day for bank stocks since 2020 which fell over 4% Per FBN.Reporter: "Will the president sign the legislation that would declassify information about the origins of Covid?" - KJP: "We're taking a look at the bill." - Reporter: "It also passed unanimously. Why would President Biden not sign something that literally got no opposition?Georgia State Law School is putting together a conference on "Restoring trust in the CDC and FDA", It's free. If you are in the Atlanta area, come join us.The House has voted unanimously for the Biden administration to declassify all information related to the origins of COVID - nearly three years since the Trump administration declared a national emergency due to the pandemic. The American public is now one step closer to discovering the truth about the start of the virus that sparked widespread lockdowns [Todd's note: nope, it was all planned] and restrictions, and to the extent to which China is to blame. Rep. Thomas Massie discusses Pfizer Board Member Scott Gottlieb's role in censoring tweets about natural immunity: "My tweets on natural immunity were censored. Why is this important? This was three days after the military vaccine mandate came out and a week before the federal vaccine mandates came out. This truth was toxic to a narrative that Pfizer was spreading that Joe Biden wanted out there so he could force the vaccine on everybody whether you had natural immunity or not."The Biden Administration's COVID relief funds are riddled with fraud and abuse. The Inspector General of the Department of Labor just told me at least $76 billion has been misused already. There will be repercussions.Twitter and Stanford accused of running a disinformation campaign to hide the truth about vaccinesRep. Daniel Goldman (who bought a congressional seat) says "you cannot find actual evidence of any direct government censorship of lawful speech."Rep. @Jim_Jordan then pulls out an email from the White House to Twitter asking them to censor a tweet from @RobertKennedyJrRob Schneider on the Shocking History of the Hepatitis B Vaccine; "They had a drug that was designed for teenagers and no one was taking it, so they said we're not going to have an orphan drug out there. If adults don't take it, we'll give it to babies." 4Patriotshttps://4patriots.comNever be in the dark with the Patriot Power Solar Generator.
