First up, let's talk about the podcast scene. I recently checked out David Cross's "Senses working overtime" with guest Bob Odenkirk, and I have to say, I was left a little disappointed. On the other hand, Trevor Noah's podcast caught my attention. In his latest episode, he interviewed Sam Altman, and it was a fantastic conversation about artificial intelligence. Collider recently published an intriguing article discussing how Netflix stand-up specials aren't as special as they used to be. They pointed out that the streaming giant seems less interested in curating new specials, with many releases lacking proper promotion or advertising. It's as if they've run out of comedians to grant this platform to. The article emphasized that unless a comedian is considered "generation-defining" like Ali Wong or Dave Chappelle, Netflix doesn't seem keen on pushing their specials.Switching gears, the AARP recently featured an interview with Jesus Trejo, a comedian and caregiver.
