Adam Gorham is a comic book artist on such titles as TMNT Universe, Jughead: The Hunger, James Bond 007, Power Rangers, Marvel's Contagion and Rocket (starring Rocket Raccoon from Guardians of the Galaxy). He is currently drawing Punk Mambo for Valiant. Adam was born in Perth, Ontario but was raised in Mississauga, Ontario and still makes his home there now with his family. On the podcast, Adam goes through his long, strange trip from art school drop-out and disgruntled grocery store warehouse employee to working for major comic companies like Marvel, Image and Valiant. This includes finding his first gig as a comic artist on Craigslist, working with Toronto radio personality “Fearless” Fred Kennedy on Fred's self-published, three volume indie book Teuton, and eventually breaking out as the artist on The Violent, a creator-owned gritty crime book published by Image and written by Ghost Rider and Old Man Logan scribe Ed Brisson.Aaron also gets Adam's take on the New Mutants trailer since he worked on New Mutants: Dead Souls with writer Matthew Rosenberg (4 Kids Walk Into a Bank) which was the book that was likely going to launch as the movie came out before the film got delayed. The Comics Agenda 126: Dani Does Stuff The hype is real as we all prepare to watch Avengers: Endgame this weekend. MCU Draft We start the hype train by drafting MCU characters onto NFL teams. Greg started the draft out with the number one pick and took the first Avenger, Captain America. Insha surprised many with making the Scarlet Witch the second off the board. A little controversy as Michael took Inshas obsession Bucky Barnes at the top of the second. Who else got taken and what surprises were left on the board? You will have to listen to find out. A New Kind of Beer In our weekly wacky news story Michael presents the story of a Polish man who has created a beer that has been infused with the essence of supermodels. This is a story that you do not want your kids around for. New Comicbooks After a couple of weeks of slim pickings we are back to six comics this week. Alternate Reality - Episode #388 Charlie this week is going deep on Descender from Image Comics telling why his feelings are so strong coming from the bottom of his very soul. The duo fly home planning their next move. Meanwhile, Carol Danvers, a.k.a. Huntress, breaks into Logan's loft, tracking down leads to Creed H. Quinn, the Hyena. As she snoops through the loft, she comes across the greatest secret of all: the costumes of Dark Claw and thus his true identity. Before she can leave, Dark Claw enters through a passage way behind the closet and pins the Huntress to the ground. Undecided what to do with the intruder, the two begin to talk and soon Dark Claw shares his secrets. He is indeed Logan, a by product of an experiment that he and three others volunteered for, one of the others was his one time friend Creed H. Quinn. Dark Claw shows her the Barrow, his lair and center for his war on crime. This decision doesn't sit well with Sparrow at first, but soon the three begin looking for clues Hyena might have set back at the Gotham Gazette. They discover two clues, AF1 meaning Air Force One, and NaCN for Sodium Cyonide a deadly poison. The three head immediately to Air Force One, and arrive just as Hyena makes his move. With the gas filling the plane, Dark Claw corners his foe and cuts a whole in the plane, jettisoning Hyena, Dark Claw, and the gas. - via DC Wikia" SPIDER-BOY Spider-Boy is a super-hero in the Amalgam Universe. He was created as a combination of Superboy and Spider-Man. His tactile telekinesis allows him to move like a spider, and he also carries a Web-Pistol.
