This was a solo show recorded by Cody, on Sunday, Jan. 22nd, 2023. This episode is about thoughts and reactions to the NFL Divisional Playoffs games! Here are our notes with reasons we thoughts certain teams would win in this weekend's slate of playoff games. NFL Divisional Round Bengals @ Bills Cowboys @ 49ers Jaguars @ Chiefs Giants @ Eagles Cody's Picks - Who's gonna win? And Why? Bengals over Bills! Why? Joe Burrow & their passing offense. X-Factor is going to be the pass protection from the Bengals, especially getting help from Mixon picking up Blitzes. 49ers over Cowboys! Why? The Niners have an elite defense. Better coached offense and a ton of weapons. Areas of concern for the Niners is Brock Purdy going against this Cowboys' defense. Dak Prescott will face the toughest defense he will have seen all season in the Niners. Chiefs over Jaguars. Why? The Chiefs' offense is too high-powered for the Jags. The Jags had a come-from-behind victory against the Chargers but the Chiefs have a more fluid offense. If the Jags get into a shootout with the Chiefs that's probably where they will have the best shot to win. The Chiefs' defense plays better when protecting a lead. If the Jags can protect Lawrence the Jags have a shot. Eagles over Giants! Why? If the Eagles get back their start RT, Lane Johnson, it will be a huge boost for them in the run game & play action. I think the Giants will hold their own offensively but the Eagles sacked Daniel Jones & Tyrod Taylor 7 times during their first matchup. The Eagles having AJ Brown, Devonta Smith, Dallas Goedart, & Miles Sanders. This may be a low-scoring game but I think the Eagles will outlast the Giants. Episode 77 - Dr. Covel McDermot grew up poor in Jamaica near the ghettos. After his parents divorced at an early age his mother moved them to the country where trees and the rest of nature thrived. The more time he spent in the forest, the more his spiritual practice grew. His mother was also big into herbs so from an early age he realized the power of natural herbs and spending time in nature to boost the immune system and feel good. He was the first of his family to complete high school then go on to getting his doctorate in Plant & Soil Science. Romero The Night Of The Living Dead y Dawn Of The Dead.CRITICAGeorge Romero a través de los años ha dicho que ésta es su favorita de la trilogía.Si bien fue considerada la mas débil de la trilogía hasta el 2005 cuando se estreno Land Of The Dead, debido a su historia algo sencilla, las pocas secuencias de acción y peso de protagonistas (si bien la película es rescatada por el personaje del Capitan Rhades y el Zombie Bub) esta cinta contiene una mejora en cuanto la producción, esto porque se conto con un mayor presupuesto (NOTLD con 114,000 USD y DOTD con 1.5 MUSD)Los efectos especiales, maquillaje y gore sobrepasan a las primeras 2 entregas.Romero mostró de nuevo la idea de que la gente que no puede trabajar en conjunto es mucho más peligrosa que la escasa amenaza directa que suponen los zombis. Fue la rivalidad por el dominio interno y la falta de cooperación entre los protagonistas lo que conduce al motín y al arrasamiento total de la base subterránea. Los zombies tienen una historia donde no muestran personalidad, se han perdido a sí mismos. Por otro lado, Romero nos trae una luz de esperanza... Aquellos que se creían completamente perdidos tienen la posibilidad de ser traídos de vuelta al mismo plano que los demás. Nos trae una chispa de esperanza. ¿Es un golpe de realidad? Vemos que incluso en momentos de supervivencia de la humanidad, es imposible ponerse de acuerdo. Podemos verlo incluso ahorita en la pandemia: a pesar de haber instrucciones o incluso la vacuna misma ya distribuyéndose... es imposible poner a la gente de acuerdo. Aún y cuando la vida de ellos, familiares o desconocidos están en juego. Usar a zombies como conejillos de india para salvar al mundo. ¿Importa? Cuando ves que el zombie recuerda y se comporta de forma humana... ¿importa entonces matar a los demás? ¿ganan humanidad? PRODUCCIONTras dirigir Creepshow (film escrito por Stephen King) George A. Romero inicia lo que seria su tercera entrega de la saga de muertos vivientes titulada Day Of the Dead.El guión era extremadamente largo y el presupuesto estimaba 7M, lo cual era demasiado para United Film distribution. Así que Romero tuvo que reescribir el guión de cero practicamente para adaptarlo al presupeusto de 3.5M.Se filmo en 3 meses.los actores se la pasaban todo el día abajo en el bunker y practicamente pasaban días sin ver la luz del sol. El estar abajo en estas minas, realmente los permeaba de la oscuridad y una atmosfera extraña. Había varias grutas y se sentía húmero todo el tiempo y un olor como de rocas mojadas. Se sentía todo muy deprimente.Los exteriores se filmaron en Florida mientras que las escenas que transcurren en el bunker se realizaron en una mina abandonada en Pensilvania.Los extras para aparecer como zombies fueron reclutados en Pittshburg y adema de obtener 1 dólar, recibían una gorra con la leyenda “yo fui un Zombi en el día de los muertos”También tuvo la menor distribución en cines que sus antecesoras.Los efectos especiales y maquillaje volvieron a ser realizados por el maestro Tom Savini.¿Qué te gustó de la película?El maquillaje y efectos por parte de Tom Savini; se puede observar como su tecnica se iba perfeccionando cada vez mas en cada pelicula.Desde luego el personaje del muerto viviente Bub.El personaje del Capitan Rhodes llega a ser muy odioso pero a la vez divertido. Su final no pudo ser de otra manera. Algunos dicen que dificilmente la película va a gustar de primera mano, la apreciación crece con el tiempo. ¿creen que es cierto? Me gustó mucho la integración de "no poder dormir" y las pesadillas de los zombies. Especialmente, si eres la única mujer y te amenazan con violarte.
